Chiquito in Flintshire

Food: tasted good, good portion size. The food could have been hotter ( in temperature). I prefer hot food to be served piping hot Customer Service: Fantastic service from the restaurant team, special mention to Fran. There was a problem with the food which she promptly sorted out. She brought out a dessert with a candle on it (which I thought was a lovely surprise) whilst me & my friend celebrated my birthday. After we ordered our drinks and food, we didn't have to wait long for our order to arrive. Overall, I would return to this restaurant as the customer service was fantastic. There was an issue with the food but it was taken off the bill & my complaint was handled with tact, care & empathy.

This restaurant is great for anyone that loves good customer service and a kick of Mexican culture, the restaurant is clean and the food is fascinating, also you can wear a sombrero (mexican hat) & have a good time there! Great for dates too! (Not yet had one there but I would)

Visited family of four we ordered from the lunch time menu and it was excellent. Large portions, tasty food and good servivd. Excellent

We often visit here as it is our sons favourite place to eat. LAUREN deserves recognition for being amazing she is always so cheerful , friendly and polite. She remembers you and what you like, nothing is too much trouble for her. We always feel so relaxed and welcome here because of her. Great member of the staff team thank you

This restaurant is excellent, all the staff is friendly, it's sparkling clean both in the dining hall and bathrooms, the food is cooked very professionally and the drinks are something else 🤩 It also has a very latin taste inside, there's all kinds of decorations originating from the latin world, mainly from Mexico and to be honest, if you're around just give it a chance, you never know! Have fun!

That’s the best burger I’ve had in years. Tried all these other new smash style places but they don’t come close. Staff were really warm and friendly. Service was very very fast and efficient.

Lovely staff and amazing food! We popped in one sunny Saturday afternoon before shopping. Nachos great size, enchiladas were flavourful and burger was delicious! Will come again

As a family we love Chiqitos and usually go to the one at the Oaks where the service is phenomenal. We decided to head to the one in Broughton for a lunch time treat. Although the food was nice, the service was very poor. Only two staff serving (which was certainly not enough). We paid for refills but getting someone over to ask for a refill was impossible. Dishes left on the table and service with a scowl not a smile (by one of the servers). Although we like chiquitos as a brand we would not return to this particular one in the future.

All staff changed. Very slow. Ordered 4 chicken wings and ribs waited almost an hour. Now ordered dessert and it's another hour waiting. Never was so slow. Although food was nice - very disappointed, never expected little meal will take so long. My husband and daughter literally fell asleep. Will not be rushing back here soon.

Excellent service by an attentive young man. Food a bit pricey but good. Unable to use student discount as it was a "promotional day" which was disappointing.

Did not receive the starter we ordered, main course was bland and service poor. Received an email offering 2-4-1 coctails if we booked, ordered the coctails then another member of staff arrived to say deal not valid althoughI had the email there. Poor customer service, food not great. Go elsewhere

This is a great place to get something to eat. The food was really nice and enjoyable, and the portion sizes were really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was really good. Would recommend.

We ate here last night before the movies. I was really looking forward to eating authentic fajitas, but have to say felt very disappointed. There was hardly any flavor in them and felt the chicken was a little dry. Wrong choice!!! The loaded Nacho’s were better! We won’t eat there again ☹️

My daughter and I went for dinner, lovely atmosphere. We were greeted by the manager who was very friendly and took us to our table. Our waiter was Lee who went above and beyond. I explained I couldn’t see the menu because I’d left my glasses at home and he offered me his own. Went for a meal after going to the cinema to see Oppenheimer, I pre booked using their Web site and was glad I did, it was busy even at 7 o'clock. I was 10 minutes late due to the film being longer than advertised but that didn't seem to matter I went straight to my table. Service was quick and the staff very friendly drinks and food arrived quickly. Food was excellent I had a build yourself 🌮 🌮 🌮 tacos, music wasn't too loud all in all a very pleasant evening. My only complaint and this applies to all restaurants the alcohol prices are a rip off

Excellent veggie/vegan menu. Fresh and tasty. The extensive plant based menu is the main reason I like this chain over other ones. Billy was both friendly and courteous.

Myself and my wife visited Chiquito’s this evening and we were presented with the staff on arrival placed to our seat introduced to some lovely starters, mains and deserts and thoroughly enjoyed everything from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble even down to a sprinkle of cheese on the tortilla chips. Fran and her team done a fantastic job accommodating us. We will visit again in the future.

First dinner out this year! Picked it as it’s usually a hit with the kids and this evening was no exception. Friendly staff right from the start, prompt service, patient waitress, kind server who took a photo for us and Robyn (she was so nice!) made sure we were happy throughout and had all we needed. She even sent us extra wraps as we were sharing a main course. Fabulous food and genuinely kind staff. Thank you!!

My husband and I had a lovely evening at Chiquito especially with it being our first meal out since lockdown ended. Customer service was excellent; staff were friendly, very attentive and efficient. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the vegan fajitas. COVID measures were excellent; screens divided tables etc. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended. 5*. Will visit again when in the area.

First time eating out after lockdown Fran and her team were absolutely amazing. The food was to die for best fajitas I’ve ever had. The halloumi bites to start with are a must have.

Ordered click and collect from one of my favourite restaurants today (chiquito, Broughton park) and all I can say is 'WOW'. The staff reminded me of close family friends with their warm, welcoming presence. Then there's the food. I have never tasted as succulent a taste in all my 52 years. The fajitas ignited a fire in my old heart. Thank you chiquito, you saved me. Garlic bread was ok.

Easy to order through the app, staff was very polite when rang for assistance. Food was fresh and very tasty! Definitely will order again.

Clicked and collected an order for myself and my mrs, I got a chimichanga and my other half a burrito, both really nice and with some churros after was definitely a good choice. No queue to collect, the staff were really nice especially Robyn and Jim, shame we couldn't sit in.

Spent £60 with on a meals that were bland and awful! Service was very good and the staff were all lovely! But the only thing I truly enjoyed was my Coke Zero, although I asked for no ice so they substituted an orange! Would highly recommend nandos next door though! They do better halloumi that they don’t burn!!!

Popped in on a very quiet Monday evening during local lockdown.All Covid measures are adhered to very carefully and we felt very safe. Our server was Billy who was like a breath of fresh air, super friendly and efficient, he was like a little Tigger, bouncing around.The choice of food is pretty good and everything we ate was tasty and plentiful.Only reason 4 stars and not 5 is that it's a bit pricey and no mid week or early birds deals on which would make it a more regular jaunt.

What a lovely experience and this can only be credited to the superb service we received from Lee. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left he could not do enough for us even finding the time despite being busy to have a chat. He really did make our evening and put us in such a good mood the rest of the night. I think his happy and positive attitude should be bottled and sold! very refreshing and welcomed in these very difficult times. The food was wonderful with prompt service. Piping hot and plentiful. Good social distancing measures in place along with good hygiene.Highly recommend.I highly recommend a visit.

We use to visit often and were so pleased to see that it has reopened. We went on Tuesday 15th September and really enjoyed it. The staff were amazing especially Kaleigh and the Manager, tthe food was great and it was a lovely atmosphire.

I went to Chiquitos Broughton Park last night, had an excellent meal and great service by Robyn, will come again

Went for a midweek breakfast using a Merekat card. chose the traditional breakfast and it came roasting hot (just how we like it) cooked perfectly and was very filling, sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, beans, hash browns and toast. Lots of other breakfast choices, and the surroundings were lovely comfy and warm. staff were great too.

8 of us eating plus a 3 month old baby. Our waitress Lydia patiently waited while our group arrived. She regularly checked up on us asking if we needed sides, drinks and desserts. Also checking we were all happy with our meals, which we were. Food came out quickly considering the restaurant was busy. We all enjoyed our meals very tasty and filling. Thank you to all staff who dealt with our mad table :)

Blown away with how amazing the food was. We are frequent travellers to Mexico so love Mexican food. First time visiting a Mexican restaurant outside of Mexico and we weren’t disappointed. Tacos & Burritos were amazing.

Never fails here, can’t beat the classic Salsa, Guac, Sour Cream combo. Would recommend the Garlic Tortilla with cheese! Always have steak & chicken fajitas, can’t get enough

Honestly cannot recommend chiquitos Broughton park enough!!! The staff are really amazing, extremely friendly and go out of their way to help!!! Service is second to none!!! The manageress is wonderful too, again always goes out of her way to help and is extremely friendly! The young man with glasses (originally from London) is excellent always knows our order (which is remarkable) and always goes out of his way for us, as does the young man who serves and the young girls!!! Makes a huge difference, the only problem being; we keep returning!!!! ;)keep up the fab work!!! The food is fantastic, credit to chefs!!!!

We received great service from the team. We got seated immediately, had our drink orders within 5 minutes and our food within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was lovely which was a great amount for the price you pay. Definitely coming back soon

My partner and I visited about 12 one Saturday and we were left really disappointed. In the past we have enjoyed the food not in this occasion. We’re both vegetarian so we ordered veggie burritos and when they arrived they were so dry and tasteless. We were really hungry and hate wasting food so we ate them but when they did the check back we said we only ate them for those reasons. No apology was offered or way of reconciliation. When the bill arrived and it was over £40 we said we were not happy with the food and offered free drinks next time we came. Apparently this was because we ate the food and at the check back hadn’t actively complained. I don’t feel like enough was done to fix the issue and left feeling incredibly disappointed. I don’t feel like we were listened to and will not be returning.

Lovethe menus , they cater for all of our dietary needs as I’m gluten free and my daughter is vegetarian ! Broughton Park staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble ! Always our first choice to eat here
