Las Iguanas Southampton in Southampton

A very busy restaurant that gives you a little taste of Mexico and South America. The food was very nice and the menu wasn't too busy but had a nice selection of items. The cocktails were very nice and went down a treat. Personally, everything was very expensive for what you got. The atmosphere is where I felt let down the most. Granted I visited during a seasonal time but it wasn't so much other people in the restaurant that bothered me but the music. Everyone was shouting to try and talk to other people and yet the music kept being turned up. I couldn't even hear the staff, let alone my friends next to me!!

The food was absolutely horrendous. The burrito was over cooked and put in a microwave, and tasted stale. The jalapeño poppers tasted of cheese gone bad. The empanadas were empty inside with nothing in them other than a strip of cheese. Would absolutely stay away from this place. On top of all of this I spent 45£.

Renee and Freya were absolute dolls! Expectional service nothing was to much trouble!!!! Because of them I would return and recommend las iguanas to anybody!!! Thank you so much to Freya and Renee xx

We went for a bottomless brunch yesterday and it was amazing! This the 3rd time I have been for a bottomless brunch on a Sunday and it is always fantastic. Kiran and Freya were the best, making sure our glasses were always full-Just brilliant! This is the second time Kiran has been our waiter for a bottomless brunch and is always great. Lucky to have staff so great x

The Taco tasting board was delicious and great value for money. The service was excellent.

It took them a long time to serve us, my two-year-old daughter's food was very bad and it was frozen food and then cooked. My beef was a very small portion and since I don't like sauces I ordered it without it but since it didn't have sauce the beef tasted very bad, you could tell it was expired and it was overcooked to try to hide it. I will never go to this place again in my life and I do not recommend it to anyone.

We'd booked to go to dinner next door to Red Dog Saloon and had called them twice to confirm they properly catered for a coeliac guest; were arrived to find out they really don't so came to your restaurant instead, already knowing Las Iguanas is very attentive and accommodating for this annoying disease. The staff were just delightful, and the food and drink, as usual, was lovely.

Gran grupo para el brunch sin fondo muy mal montado. Tomó mucho más de 30 minutos para los primeros tragos. Eso fue sólo prosecco. No tenían suficientes vasos. Una mezcla de prosecco y copas de vino. Algunos vasos sucios. Querían que todo el grupo tomara los mismos cócteles. Casi £ 40 para el brunch sin fondo, espere un poco de servicio personal. La comida era en porciones pequeñas y muy picante. La comida parecía que se había mantenido caliente durante bastante tiempo. Pagar la cuenta era horrible. Debería haber recibido el pago a la llegada.

The service here is always great and personalised, the drink helps too. Mike served me today and has many times before, it was very nice that he remembered me and gave us great service!

One of my favourite places. Pink Lemonade, blue Lagoon and Zombie are all lovely moreish Drinks and 2 for 1. Favourite food to order was Cobacabna Cauliflower Bites and Cheese & Mango Empanadas - unfortunately, these have been replaced. But the Spicy Crispy Brazilian Chicken is soooo good! Sweet Potato Fries are perfectly crisp yet fluffy and moreish. I haven't found a dessert I liked from here yet. Staff have usually been friendly and accommodating, and the decor is cool. Overall It's been a joy coming here.

Fantastic experience from the time of walking in the door to the time we left

Me and my friends booked a table for food and drinks. The drinks took 20 minutes to come. We then waited 50 minutes for food. We asked for an update and they couldn’t even give us a time for when the food would be ready. So we paid for our drinks and left without ever receiving food. Very disappointed. Our night was ruined. I would not recommend!

Amazing, went as i had a restaurant voucher, it was amazing, lovely decor, amazing service and foods, cocktails amazing, u could taste the alcohol unlike other places. Service with a smile from everyone

El restaurante estaba lejos de la capacidad, pero tomó 2 horas para obtener nuestro plato principal. La comida era agradable, pero yo no diría que valía la pena el precio. Todo estaba bien, pero solo bien. El servicio acaba de arruinar la experiencia.

Our waitress Renee was great. Upon arrival she brought us a glass of Prosecco as we were celebrating our anniversary and even wished us a happy one. From start to finish the service was fab. The restaurant was clean and well presented.

Plain and simple, you will get ill. But maybe you can have a chat to the lonely robot waiter that doesn’t seem to get used.

I visited Las Iguanas with some friends and had a positive experience. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. However, it is important to note that the prices are on the higher side. The ambiance is not overly loud, making it conducive for conversation.

I just want to Say thank you so much for having me. Felt welcoming and Staff was Really freindly and nice as some places don't have that which was great. I would happily return soon. Chicken Fajitas Stack was really tasty and nice. Might order some rice with next time if I want to have it again. The Magaritta Cheesecake and the Magaritta Shot oh my that was on s completing different and flavour in that was astonishing. Everything was well presented and really great. See you soon.

My son picked this as the place he wanted to visit for a birthday meal. On arrival we were greater with the warmest of welcomes from our member of staff Kiran. After being shown to our table we were given an explanation of the menu and then plenary of time to choose what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for Kiran who regularly checked in with us without being intrusive. All of our food was really good and tasty. Kiran then showed my son how to make his birthday cocktail (which was on the house and a nice little touch) We had a great meal in a good venue which was made all the more special my the staff Thank you

Freya was a brilliant server. Nathan was an amazing bartender the cocktails were 10/10. Both the service and the cocktails were amazing. The classic beef burger I bought was amazing. Have visited several times for bottomless brunch. Came again today and was given fantastic, attentive and fast service from Renee! Great choice of cocktails and food, excellent value for money.

Bottomless brunch. Food was great. Choice of drinks were great. Free flowing for our 2 hour slot. Could have cocktails and prosecco which was brilliant. Welcoming & friendly on arrival. Our waitress was friendly and great at keeping our glasses filled. Will definitely be returning soon.

Came as a late birthday celebration for me and oh my god it was incredible! I've never enjoyed a meal as much as I enjoyed this one! The food was delicious, the restaurant atmosphere was incredible, and to top it off the servers made the evening super fun (unfortunately I only caught one of their names). Tara is awesome. She really engaged with us and, as someone who can get quite anxious in restaurants, she made me feel comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough for their incredible food and super efficient staff!!

We all really enjoyed our bottomless brunch. The staff were excellent (Georgia, I think) was our server. The food was good & portions were fair. However the cocktails were the highlight. They kept them coming & they tasted great. I’d highly recommend & return 👏🏻👏🏻

Food was under cooked and still got charged with service charge and when I told the lady staff about food being under cooked she did not care.

Absolutely disgraceful that you can serve your online delivery customers the kind of food that was sent today. Firstly one item missing that’s one whole meal, second item incorrect item and then the sides were as though it was the whole days left over of fries and curly fries inedible. Will never dine in or order again or recommend. Where is management?

Our waitress was an ABSOLUTE gem. She was so attentive. we did a bottomless brunch and you best believe she kept us topped up and happy. She was incredible. Portion sizes however let it down sadly. Teeny tiny portions, we all left hungry which isn't the best. I imagine the portion sizes were intentional to up-sell you to other menu items. However the food we did have was lovely and the cocktails were AMAZING.

Me and my sister came in to have a meal. The food was lovely and the staff was amazing… my sister is disabled and like to talk to people and sometimes people are rude to her but the staff here was absolutely amazing and took the time to speak to her. So thank u.

Good for bottomless brunch, Leon and Freya were both attentive and friendly. The food was good but do order a side as it doesn't quite fill you up. However, a full long island iced tea was spilled down the back of my friend, the staff were fast at clearing it up but offered no compensation at the fact she was going to be sticky all day. There were issues with the bill (desserts were added at full price instead of the extra £5 shown on the menu), but this was resolved quickly by Leon. Also, wait time for paying for the bill was on the long side (roughly an hour). Bare this in mind when visiting. Other than an enjoyable experience for brunch.

Visited for lunch - drink and meal £9.95 and I added prawns to my salad. One of the prawns was raw and I didn’t eat it. I informed the waiter, who didn’t apologise or offer any money off the bill. One waiter having to serve five tables and service was slow to get the bill. The mocktail was nice but I wouldn’t return for the food.
