The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Mexican food

We have dined in this restaurant many times previously and been very satisfied, but yesterday was a different experience. The Quality of our food on our visit yesterday was Very Poor. My Steak Fijita was Short on the amount of Steak , this was served on a bed of approximately 2Whole Fried Onions, Far Too Many for the dish to be enjoyed My Daughters had Chicken Fijita which only had a small amount of chicken, but she did have the correct amount of Onions for this dish. My Great Granddaughter had the Chicken and Sweetcorn Pizza which was Dry, this Kids Meal should have been Free under the Kids Eat Free Deal, but was charged full price ? And for this disappointing visit I was Charged £74.50

Amazing food and good value. I had the chilli beef and pulled pork burrito with avocado, with mango sauce, sooo good. I highly recommend visiting.

We had the bottomless brunch which not only is great value for money but our server Arijon was not only attentive, but incredibly friendly with great customer service. The food and drink were amazing and we will definitely be visiting again!

Dreadful experience, you have to order your own food and drinks fron different counters, pay up front whilst being pushed out of the way by grumpy waiting staff because the areas are small and Crowded - food was terrible, smoked chicken wings were served medium rare and bloody, waitress said that the smoking process causes blood to remain in the chicken's joints, after 35 years in high end kitchens I've never heard that one, avoid at all costs unless you don't mind being ripped off by extremely clumsy, inexperienced staff

Absolutely Delicious and Authentic Mexican Food! We had an amazing dining experience at Gordos. From the moment we walked in, the warm and vibrant atmosphere made us feel welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The guacamole was fresh and zesty, the vegetarian quesadillas were the best we’ve had outside of Mexico. Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone looking for fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine. We’ll definitely be coming back.

A lovely little hidden gem of Nantwich! The menu looks interesting with some variety of authentic flavours. I had the beef birria open burrito and I'm so happy it was beef shin rather than just brisket. Refried beans instead of slaw would be a good improvement though 👀 Décor looks cute and comfortable, perfect for a humble date night or brunch outs. I look forward to coming back with friends 😉

We have been in this place with friends. They have kids menu and a gf option available. The food was great and we would definitely go back.

We visited over the weekend with the family and the waitress Bell was very rude, I asked three times to place an order and the food was great but by the time she delivered it was cold. Last time we visited it was fantastic so it shows how much a poor waitress can ruin the experience

After hearing that the food was very good, I attended the restaurant with my friends for a dinner out. What I hoped to be a lovely dinner turned into a dish from hell. The service was slow and rude, and it took a very long time for the food to arrive. I ordered the sea bass veracruz as it sounded nice. However upon arrival, the food was lukewarm. This was of course underwhelming but I overlooked it. However, things only got worse. As I bit into the sea bass, I was horrified to find a long black hair in my mouth. This obviously is revolting and is very poor standard. My friend’s food was also lukewarm and he ordered the Manana Mexican Burger. He is however lactose intolerant so ordered it without the grilled cheese and if any lactose free cheese was available he would greatly appreciate if that was used instead. However, the burger came and there was cheese. He assumed it was lactose free cheese so ate it all. It was not Lactose free cheese. He ended up ruining his underwear and ultimately our night out. Afterwards, he proceeded to ruin the interior of my car. It still smells to this day. To add to matters, after asking for a rushed bill, the service to bring the card machine took ages, and they tried to add things we had not purchased. Overall, I encore the public to stay far away from this hellhole.

For Twenty Five Years this has been our go to place to celebrate special Dates, Birthday's, Wedding Anniversaries, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and always our first Port of call when returning from abroad, Food always excellent, service was like you were part of the Family and the atmosphere was so relaxed it was like eating in your own Dinning Room, sadly Ryan ( the owner) contacted us today to let us know he has closed the Doors for the last time, devastated by the News, but had to say to all at Fuegos, thanks for the last 25 Years, you will be missed and to be totally honest irreplaceable.
