This is normally our favourite restaurant however the service has gone down hill a little. This unfortunately is not a one off as I went a couple weeks beforehand and experienced similar issues. Food is always fantastic and comes out quickly but we constantly had to get someone's attention for more drinks etc. On this occasion we had other guest standing over us for 20 minutes as they decided our table was better. In this time we were waiting to order drinks and desserts but we could not get any servers' attention as they were focused on the larger tables. In the end, we paid at the bar and left. Cocktails are great but too expensive, maybe some drinks deals would encourage more people to buy.

The family were there for my partners 60th birthday The staff made it a fantasticexperience.the service was excellent. Food was very good great value for money for sure ..

Was looking forward to a good mexican meal. Not so much. Over cooked, starters were very dry, Fajitas were lacking in meat, flavour....and wraps. Really not up to the standard of other Mexican restaurants we've been too, even the other chain restaurants. Service was good, that was about it really. Wouldn't go back.

Was holidaying in burnham on sea however spent most daytime’s at Weston-super-mare, all week we had only come across dreadful food making some of the party poorly enough to have to return home. Visited this Mexican the night we left and was gutted I’d not found it at the start of the holiday! Absolutely amazing food, service was second to none as soon as an empty glass was on the table not even 2 minutes later it was removed and asked if we wanted more! Kids enjoyed the virgin cocktails. We left for the journey home with extremely happy tummies! Only sad they don’t have this Mexican where I live as I’m sure I’d be there ALOT! Staff very friendly too. Thank you for a wonderful delicious meal! If I wasn’t 2.5 hours away I’d be visiting again for sure! Sorry for the pics we were ravenous so took them half way through the meal!

Fantastic food! Best nachos I've had in a long time, thanks the toppings being well layered. I went for the chicken fajitas salad and it was delicious, filling and like the nachos very well mixed together (which seems so simple but not what you get at many other restaurants). The cocktails were scrummy too! We'd definitely visit again

Finding this place on the beach front was great. Honest food , good value for money. Staff had exactly right level of attentiveness and consideration If you are in Weston Super Mare and hesitant about where to eat, this is a safe bet!!

Popped in for lunch as an alternative to the dire chsin restaurants in Weston. Great choice service excellent and the two course lunch was exceptional value. Toilets clean and food was good quality ..

We went as friends for a leaving do. The food was delicious, well cooked and presented well. Sadly during the meal, my friend started choking, she thankfully was ok after about 10 minutes, she had only taken a couple of mouthfuls when this happened and was unable to eat any more of her meal. The staff were very good and kindly took her meal off the bill. Thank you!

Hen party here on the 11th of April. The staff were amazing, especially Thay. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the cocktails were fantastic. Would really recommend this place, definitely going back.

Visited this restaurant me and my partner love Mexican food. We were sat ordered and had our 1st drink within 10 mins. The cocktails were perfect the food was amazing the service was fast polite and well mannered. The best restaurant experience we have ever had.

We had the lunch special, 2 courses for £12.95, the portions were big and food was delicious. Staff knowledge of gluten free was great, most of the menu could be made gluten free, the waitress advised the chips for nachos were a may contain so I went for the chicken wings and a pulled pork enchilada, both were great and we will definitely be coming back!

Lovely themed restaurant and wonderfully friendly staff. Kids meal was great, we found our mains were more tapas style sizing but that could have been our mistake for what we ordered. Quality was good.

Easy to find: virtually on the sea front, staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and decorated in a fun way. The menu has a good choice, including lots of options for vegetarians. We wanted something a bit different and were pleased to find this place.

One of my favourite places to go in Weston-super-Mare great food, drink and service. A must go if you're there. Went for both lunch and dinner, would go for breakfast if we could.

Really bad. Paella was made with frozen fish etc couldn't eat it. This is not Mexican or Spanish food. Should have guessed there were so many tables when the french restaurant was too full to eat there. Was also looked at angrily when I didn't finish dinner. Very uncomfortable.

Popped in today for a Mexican Salad to takeaway. It was ready in no time, and had lots of delicious ingredients including avocado, olives, tomato & cucumber, complete with dressing & a lemon wedge - absolutely perfect for a hot day! The decor inside was also fabulous, very vibrant. Would love to come back for a sit down meal.

If you like Mexican you will love it here, the decor is amazing. All staff was friendly and be prepared to be serenaded if it’s your birthday! They all get involved. I had the seafood paella. The prices were reasonable, they have a large menu with lots to choose from! For everyone. It’s a huge place that can cater for groups big and small!

Great family meal. Very accommodating to my eldest who wanted their meal without chilli/guacamole/salsa. Excellent friendly service. Also very quick which was a plus with a hungry toddler. Liked the style of decor - loads to look at. Great value for money - generous portions. Lovely staff. Would come again if in the area.

We went as a party of 6 and can I say the food was lovely , the place has a great atmosphere and the staff are helpful and really friendly. I had the buffalo chicken wings not for the faint hearted . If you visit Weston-Super-Mare you must visit the fabulous place

We had a slight delay due to staffing, but it was so worth it. The food was so rich and full of flavour, beautifully designed restaurant and the cocktails are tasty and reasonably priced! Will be back again!

This was the second time we visited this restaurant. We had another great evening out. There were plenty of very attentive staff. Service was excellent. The food was very tasty and served with a smile. The food was quite pricey, but still worth a second visit. It’s just a shame we don’t live nearer or we’d come more often. The tables were cleaned as soon as a table emptied which was good to see.

Good location, off sea front near the pier, good size and plenty of space, birthday meal for seven, great food & service, wife main did not come which was an error but sorted quickly with apologies and free drink offered, no issue as it did not effect our evening, a little slow on food arriving but it was a Tuesday evening so limited staff, loads of choices for all tastes and enjoyed our visit

Haven't been for Mexican here since they moved location. Nothing has changed the staff are as brilliant as always. Food is so good and atmosphere is electric!! We laughed so much, staff joined in and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would 110% recommend this restaurant for a night out! We booked another night out there before we left...already looking forward to it x

Best Mexican food we've had in the UK. Portions were large and very tasty. Our group including an 18 month old were well looked after. They were busy and warned us on arrival (as a walk in) there might be a delay before we were served food. We were quickly seated & served drinks. A child's meal was offered early to keep the baby happy. The delay for food was a lot less than we were expecting and we were served starters within 20 minutes of arriving. Staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely come here again next time we're in WSM.

Excellent choice of mexican food and interesting drinks. Good sized portions. We sat outside on the terrace. Felt like we were abroad in the sunshine. Great service although took quite a while for our mains to arrive. Nice clean modern loos too.

I visited this restaurant this evening for dinner with my wife and three young boys during a day trip to Weston-Super-Mare. The service and the food was excellent. There is a good selection of food and drink on the menu. The portion sizes were very good and the kids really enjoyed there meals from the kids menu. The restaurant is clean, open, spacious and nicely decorated. It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We would definitely visit again and I would have no hesitation with recommending others to give it a try.

Lovely Mexican meal. We had the cream cheese jalapeño s to start which was really tasty. Then I had quesdillas which were bigger then I've had in similar Mexican restaurants and my husband had the burritos. Both were great with ample sour cream, salsa and guacamole. What's not to like.

If we lived in Weston Super Mare we'd be here on a regular basis, the food was delicious and authentic and the portions were all a decent size. Moderate prices too considering the quality. Lovely service too. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I visited loco Mexicano while on holiday in Weston. We both thought everything to be 10/10. Every item was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect too. The chicken nachos, pulled pork burger and beef taco were all stunning and all our needs were catered to. Drinks really good too, cannot recommend this place enough. Best place we’ve visited on our holiday. Hope to come again in the future. Decor, music and staff also great.

Take note all restaurants in Weston Supa Mare especially the Bistro opposite!We went 2 nights running and noted that on both nights the staff managed to get us a table and although told early on there would be a delay in food but drinks arrived very quickly and food soon after.Take note restaurants nearby Staff should greet customers friendly styleStaff should also say bye when customers when they leave!Food should be freshly made and presented!Take a leaf out of this restaurant where food and service coupled with great atmosphere make it this the best in Weston Supa Mare

Arrived as no on line booking and was greeted by a lady who said there was a wait but it was a busy Saturday night. To be honest the wait was not long and we we served with excellent food, well priced. I watched the staff who worked tirelessly to keep the place clean and customers happy. The lady who greeted us originally came over numerous times to chat with my little boy and even took time to show him the painting of her cat Mala on the wall. The ambiance is typical Mexican and we went there when it was located elsewhere. They did not disappoint us on our return and every time we are in Weston we shall go back there.

From beginning to end an absolutely outstanding experience! They pleasantly accommodated our large family group of 12 without pre booking. After being seated they promptly took our order and even when we needed 5 more minutes they were more than happy to wait for us. The food service was very quick considering the amount of us and the food was some of the best food i have ever eaten! (Without exaggeration!) honestly a real 10/10 experience ! The staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't do more for us!

Went for my daughter's tenth birthday. Service was ok and food verbally well cooked, hot enough and reasonably tasty.Overall though just somewhat lacking. Not a massive hit of flavour and mostly lacking compared to even a chain restaurant like Las Iguanas. Not enough wraps for the Fajitas and charged extra for a couple more.Worst thing is two plastic straws per cocktail. Obviously we don't need to worry about single use plastics after all!

This place is amazing - the atmosphere, the food, the staff are all great. We visited whilst on holiday & would definitely come again next time! The only problem I had was having to pay extra for a dollop of ice cream with my cheesecake - this made puddings quite expensive - wouldn't put us off though, we loved it all! Even the kids had empty plates

We were told on arrival that we may have to wait 1hr 45 mins for food as they were busy and short staffed, no biggie to us. Ordered and waited no longer than a usual wait time for food to arrive, which was fresh, piping hot and delicious!Definitely recommend the beef enchiladas and especially the nachos, best I’ve ever had! Visited on a busy August Saturday night, without a booking. On arrival was informed by the hostess that they were really busy and there may be delays with the orders. All delivered with professionalism and warmth, all too often missing in a lot of places. We took our table and drinks orders were taken quickly and arrived pretty quickly.A slight wait for food, but we were told in advance, but not excessive. Food excellent, fresh and tasty. Prices good.Overall a good experience.

Had originally booked in to eat at bare grills but stopped here for a drink before our table there was ready, long story short the table opposites food had come and we decided we had to cancel the table at bare grills and ask for a menu here instead as the look and smells coming from the opposite table was amazing! I had the king prawn starter which I can honestly say, the best prawns I’ve ever had! So much flavour they were amazing! My partner had the quasidilla which had so much meat in them you honestly can’t complain, then we both went for the fajitas for mains which my only complaint would be I wish my stomach was bigger so I could if fit them all in, all very big portions and I just felt awful wasting as it was all so good! The cocktails were outstanding and so fresh!! Staff were also amazing! 10/10 will deffo return and deffo recommend too anyone visiting! Well done Loco Mexicano

What a love restaurant very very clean. Staff very friendly. We had the sharing platter for lunch I had a cocktail and a beer for hubby the food was amazing the ribs and chicken just feel off the bone and was piping hot. Good start to our little break. Can't recommend enough.

We we’re greeted and looked after by friendly excellent staff and the service was great. We went for the fixed price lunch menu. The portions were very generous and we were very pleased with the quality and taste of the food. Evidently the chef collects the chicken from a local butcher every morning.Great value, great meal, great atmosphere.

Not very happy with finding a huge bone in my burrito. Called the store and was told there is nothing they can do and maybe I have the wrong store.This is not just a small thin bone it’s abnormally large to be in a burrito. The service I received was disappointing

We have visited several times at the previous location and absolutely loved it but tonights visit was massively lacking. New location feels very much like a large canteen, a bit like the mass eating areas at Disney land etc with little atmosphere. We were unfortunately placed at a table facing an open cellar with bins etc The!!The staff apart from one young guy seemed miserable, one lady with red hair and glasses came across very rude plonking things on the table without so much as a smile. The drinks named on the children's menu are not actually available but the one saving grace was the food was fresh and delicious

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday and Lewis our waiter could not have been more attentive. Very polite and helpful. Food was excellent. Well worth a visit

We had a couple of nights away in Weston, we came here for dinner and lovely cocktails and it was that lovely we returned for lunch the next day, both food and service were first class. Thank we will be back

Spending a couple of days in the area and decided to eat @ Loco Mexicano. We love Mexican food so expectation where high and they didn’t disappoint… service was great and the food was amazing… if they were local we’d eat here a lot…

We are not local to Weston so decided to give this place a try.Lovely restaurant inside, decor is beautiful. Atmosphere great, plenty of attentive staff. All happy to chat to the children which always goes down well! Toilets were clean. Ordered from the lunch menu £10.95 for a starter and main and children’s menu £6.95 including drink and ice cream. The food was absolutely fantastic. Nachos were loaded with different sauces and fajitas had so much chicken, plenty of cheese and sauce. My dad said the spicy burger was excellent. Proper cut chips and the garlic bread actually had Fantastic value for money.My only slight gripe is main took a long time to arrive but I would certainly return as the food and staff really were brilliant.

After seeing all the good reviews on this restaurant me and my boyfriend wanted to have our anniversary dinner here as we both love Mexican restaurants.When we arrived the restaurant exceeded our expectations! As soon as you walk in the door your instantly getting that Mexican vibe. For a Monday night the restaurant was really busy ( which we thought was a good sign) the waitress we had- didn’t catch her name.Was beyond kind and friendly. When I say nothing was to much trouble it really wasn’t!She seemed so genuine which was lovely to see someone enjoying there job and wanting to make sure we have a good time which we did.The food was amazing, cocktails amazing.Staff amazing. Everything and everyone was amazing What a lovely restaurant

Walked in with no booking and asked for a booth. Straight away the person who recieved us was out with the disinfectant and cleaned seats table etc so felt very safe. Service was excellent and even with covid rules the restaurant still had a great atmosphere. I had nachos then seafood paella while my wife had fajitas, all excellent and very tasty.Overall based on my experience I would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return if I'm ever in Weston-super-Mare again.

I have been there many times, Each time the service is very good. Margarita is so tasty. There are 2 vegan options. But no vegan option for desert. Friendly and professional service

Food for 4 adults and 3 children, staff friendly and efficent , various meals orders and all good. On a day out and had the dog with us , a Yorkshire Terrier. Dog allowed inside so long as he was quiet.Would recommend if you are in the area. Cost £75 great value.

nice menu selection for food and drinks, although it was very busy nd we did have to wait a bit but the service was good and fiendly and the food was definetly worth the wait lovely and tasty and decent portions and if we lived in the area would be regular customers

Ate at Los Mexicanos at least 3 times during our stay ! Great food , fabulous sangria and a lovely atmosphere! All of the staff were helpful, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our visits .

Great frozen margaritas. Good quality fajitas. Could be improved by offering unlimited wraps or nacos as its seems slightly overpriced. Staff friendly. Fun atmosphere but not somewhere for a romantic date

I ordered the chicken burrito and it was tasty and very filling, very good cocktails and atmosphere. Good for a birthday if you want the staff to come out with instruments and sing. Would definitely recommend

We love Mexican food, none near where we live, so three evenings planned.Waitress excellent, then down hillOne starter not as advertised - chef!!!One meal was not as advertised, nor was the filling, Chef!! read menus card!! we took it home, spiced it up and had it with a curry, should have been a burrito but tasteless.Explained to waitress who offered the manager - but it is the chef that need talking to!!!! table behind us also complained.Asked of we would like to wait between starter and main, we said yes, pleased, and within two minutes food served!!! So....instead of three nights happy customers they got one night half happy, and the place was nearly empty circa 1830, so no pressure on the "chef"

Went to Loco Mexicano for my birthday at half term (05/06/21), considering it was extremely busy, they still had usual kind and helpful manner. When asked if we where okay we asked if we could order are drinks, the nice waiter got someone so we could order are drinks. All through the process, they where kind and thoughtful(basically nothing has changed from the last time we came before lockdown), the food as always was lovely and fresh. Definitely a place to go. With the bad reviews, please take it with a pinch of salt, because they are not always like this.

Staff were unfriendly and blunt, treated us poorly and let us wait 2 hours for some cheap make paella without a single apology. We tried to talk to the manager but could barely get a word in as she continuously argued that paella 'takes time to make'?So why did one of the other employees who spoke to us said it was pre mixed? Very disappointing,don't recommend you go here unless you want to wait an incredible amount of time for average food with a very high cost and entitled staff,.

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Took 2 hours for food to come and it looked microwaved and cheap. Even after complaining the manager was no help. Ordered drinks and they took 40 minutes to come. No staff ever came to check if everything was alright

Dissapointed as heard such good things about this place :(Waited around two hours for some food (understandable as busy at first) but calmed down and was still a long wait , had to move tables and waitor said they had ‘forgotten about us so if they could see us they won’t ‘forget’ about our order. Ordered drinks which were also forgotten about and had to be re ordered. Some workers looked and acted as if they didn’t want to be there and not helpful but others were genuinely friendly and quiet helpful. Manager was nice at first but then complained about our trouble and then started to get rude continuously shut us down and only apologised at the end, understanding how she was most likely busy but the rudeness was unnecessary

A warm summer's evening, the seafront busy and excited, a polite warning that the kitchen was very busy and we might need to wait a little before ordering. Sitting outside with a cool drink whist the sun dropped, and the people strolled by was as close to the Med as we'll get this year. The menu is extensive, the wait was only 15 minutes. Service was fantastic and enthusiastic, the flavours were great, the portions very generous. We'll be back!

Visited Weston on the day after the bank holiday, in the school half term when the sun was out, everywhere was busy. So trying to find somewhere that could seat us inside with our 2 little ones, who were getting a bit hot, for some lunch, was a challenge. We saw Loco Mexicano as we walked down the front, it looked inviting and there were staff in abundance, so we went to see if they had a table. We were told straight away there would be a wait for food as they were very busy but we could get a seat inside and have a cold drink whilst we waited for food. They cleaned, the just vacated table and seated us so we could get the drinks ordered and sort out the children. A short wait later a waitress came and took out drinks order and as we were ready with what food we wanted took that order as well. The drinks came very quickly, we were expecting a bit of a wait for the food but within 20 mins the children's food came out, closely followed by our meals. The food was piping hot, good sized portions and tasted amazing, which we tend to find doesn't always happen when somewhere is very busy. The staff were all happy and couldn't do enough to help us, or any of their customers, again this can be a bit hit and miss in places when busy. Price wise it is very reasonable and falls in line with most places in the area, but to be honest with the quality of food, staff attitude and portion sizes they have a winning formula, so cost isn't really an issue. (Doesn't mean they can increase the prices though lol). Highly recommend eating here to anyone visiting, we will definitely be back next time we visit.

Superb evening out for a birthday celebration. On arriving there was a large queue and the staff were saying that they would do best they could but it was busy and there would be a wait. However they staggered the drinks, starters and main really well so it was all fine. Front of house staff managed it all really well. The food was, as always, simply delicious. First time being to the restaurant at this new, bigger location but despite how busy it was the food was excellent and so tasty. Couldn’t fault it at all. The menu choice is good and portions huge. The service was top notch as usual, the lovely lady serving us was so helpful and friendly. Definitely our favourite place to go. Thank you!

Atmosphere is amazing too with kids and they know to serve first the kids before us adults so they won't be cranky. Servers and manager are doing amazing with their service making sure we can eat in a comfortable way while we have kids . Food is amazing! Cocktails too . Steak was perfection . Well food was lovely,drinks went down well,staff very friendly...but I do believe the time we waited for our dinner was not good enough..got there at 7.30pm starters came out about hour afterwards and our main meals served gone 10pm we had my 10yr old grandson with us,so had to keep asking when our food was coming. ,admitted it was Saturday evening but if the meals are taking this long to be prepared then maybe a limit on guests allowed to dine or need more staff.

Staff were great and the food was delicious. The only thing that spoilt it for me was when I ordered the for Fajita Raps there was plenty of meat and prawns but there was only 4 mini size raps so asked for more and there charged me another £2.75, they only also only gave me 3 tiny bits of jalapeños and asked for more bit they said it be another £2.75. Sorry but when you pay £20 for a meal I don’t expect to pay more for a few jalapeños. Loco. Shame as it left a bitter taste after. ☹️ I was gonna say some thing but I didn’t want to loco cartel. Be careful what you order amigos.

We come here fairly regularly both as a couple, and with our friends with children, and have to say the staff here are absolutely next level! So friendly, make an extra effort with kids, so really is a proper family friendly place, and the food and cocktails are delicious! Our number one spot in weston. So happy they came back to this new lovely venue after the move. Would 100% recommend.

Prior to these unusual times we used to visit Loco Mexicano frequently. Tonight we ordered a takeaway meal and I have to say it certainly did not disappoint. The Pulled Pork Burritos were as tasty and well filled as always. Sweet potato and regular fries were great and the onion rings were crisp. Both burritos came with a side salad, guacamole and sour cream. It’s always nicer to eat in the restaurant but these are different days and it’s great that it is possible to support one of our favourite places. The food was ready at the time we requested and packed to ensure it stayed warm. Thanks to all at Loco Mexicano for one of the best takeaways we have had in a very long time.

We had a mix up with the order last night and the owner of the restaurant just showed up on our doorstep with the food we should have received! What a hero! That's dinner sorted...and it was delicious! Crispy beef filled taco, tasty jalapeno poppers, pulled pork n lovely cheesy quesadillas...would definitely recommend ordering from here. Thanks guys!

I have been to Loco Mexicano in weston many times. Each time the service and the food was superb. They also have vegan options. Management really great and they deal with your queries straight away. It is enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Second time visiting the restaurant and love it every time! Amazing customer service from our server Sophie, such a friendly person and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone for the service alone!
