The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in North Wales

Lovely little place, Never been before but a nice surprise! The food was tasty the quality was ok, small portions but ample! Was a little noisy the night we went but to be expected at a small restaurant. The staff were very Pleasant and friendly.

Visited this afternoon for coffee / tea and cake . Very nice . Dog friendly which is always a bonus to us to know if we ever have our little dog with us . Pleasant visit

2 adults and 1 child went for Sunday lunch - absolutely perfect. Good selection of seasonal veg and the meat was cooked 'spot on'. We ordered cake as well for dessert but had to take that home as we were so full and the price was £7.95 a meal - its not worth cooking at home for that, especially for the quality!!

What a fabulous place to dine! This place is like one big family get together. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were amazing. Went with friends and we had the best time. Price included entertainment after the meal, a band then an open mike - the owner himself is a great musician and singer, and he kept us entertained all evening, making sure we had enough to eat and drink! Would thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be back again. A right hidden gem 💎

I contacted Reme via Facebook regarding a take out lunch for my mother's birthday. Reme suggested cured meats, a selection of cheese, crackers and jams. When I came to collect it was all prepared and ready to take. The food was so tasty and a perfect amount for 4 adults. I will definitely be recommending Reme to friends in the future.

What a great fine tasty food to suit large or small appetites . Good wine plus a large range of cocktails beers etc . Enjoyed the atmosphere and chilled music … sax jazzy vibes . Highly recommended and good value .

Delicious food 😋. Great service by friendly staff. Live music on a Saturday only adds to the atmosphere. If I could give 10 stars I would. Can't recommend highly enough. 😄

Go in. Trust me, it looks like a small shop, but they have seating, and it's surprisingly bigger than you think. The staff are friendly and the food is a surprise. We popped in for lunch and 2 (crusty not chewy) ham & cheese toasties with 'proper' ham, not that processed rubbish; a juicy and stacked bacon double cheeseburger, cooked to perfection; a bowl of fries and 3 drinks; all for £25 - and we were all full enough to easily last until tea-time. Considering it's a tourist spot I have eaten infinitely worse for considerably more money in others (I'm looking at you, Castleton). And while you're there browse around the masses of local/Welsh foodstuffs and drinks (some with very funny names).

Popped in for food with a friend on a quiet midweek in October - very well looked after and the food was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

The food here is much better than you'd expect given the exterior of the cafe. The owner is very friendly, prices are reasonable and the menu has a good mix of sort of food you'd expect to find in cafe in Colwyn Bay along with some slightly more exotic dishes than you'd expect to find in cafe in Colwyn Bay. The Mediterranean breakfast isn't something you'll find in many places in this part of the world.

Disappointing experience. We were drawn in by the prix fixe menu which made it look like you got a salad starter then a choice of steak or mussels and frites with extras and sides but nothing else was included apart from the mussels or steak and frites, not even the salad so not sure why it would be termed a prix fixe menu. My wife had a dozen mussels that were not open. I had the 4 tapas style dishes for £21 which portion wise were good but only the calamari and garlic bread were enjoyable for me. For a Friday night there were only 4 tables occupied but the food still took 40 mins to arrive.

My friends and I went to the greek night .Oh what a night .Food and atmosphere was amazing .As it was several of my friends 60th birthday in sept ,Chris allowed me to bring in some giant balloons .When getting up to dance to Zorba he let me throw my plastic picnic plates😂What a good sport 👍Every member of staff is lovely and so good at their jobs .I think Sheldons is the best place to go to in Colwyn Bay .Try it and I am sure you'll agree!
