The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

This is my second time going here, both times for a birthday event, and I have enjoyed it so much both times. The food was absolutely delicious but be aware that the serving sizes are big! But i’ve always said it’s better to get too much than too little! The food was filling and very tasty. The starters are a perfect small portion and also very delicious, you have much to choose from a variety or food and drinks too. We’re usually too full for dessert however the dessert menu also looks and sounds delicious. The staff were very lovely and welcoming, attentive and very accommodating, someone who came with us had a severe shellfish allergy and not only reconfirmed that they were correct but also cooked the food in a way nothing bad happened and everyone could happily enjoy their food, making everyone a happy customer. We went on a quiet weekday and so I’m not sure how it is on busy weekends, however this place deserves more recognition and attention as the food is fantastic, the restaurant itself is warm, clean and cozy, and the staff are polite. 10/10, would recommend :)

Delicious food and amazing service. Can't comment on atmosphere as we didn't have the food onsite. We brought the food to a nearby event and everyone really loved the food!

I looked for this restaurant and could not find it. Looks to have closed so I wonder why it is still on TA? Shame really as it had good reviews

Lovely restaurant Megan was my server, and was super helpful nothing was too much, food was delicious my visit was short notice as I had some clients cancelled at the last minute from my Canterbury Ghost Tour! We booked last minute. We had a sharing platter Buttered chicken and Chilli chicken and I had a pepperoni pizza! Service was outstanding and staff overall were very helpful! All food cooked to order all food freshly prepared and cooked!

Walked out. Booked as early Mother’s Day meal, had to wait to be seated although booked ahead. Starters didn’t come until after 45 minutes. Then another 50 minutes later and no mains had arrived so we walked out after seeing three other tables walk out due to the wait. Management overbooked the restaurant with two big bookings so the staff were under pressure but there was no communication to customers. When we asked about the wait time for the food after being seated for 1.5 hours, the response was inappropriate although we were not rude toward any staff. I would not recommend anyone to this restaurant.

I’ve just had the most delicious Sunday roast. I’m vegetarian so opted for their nutless roast - full of wonderful seeds and other yummy deliciousness. I ate late for a Sunday (7.30pm) but the joint was jumping and no wonder the food is well cooked, plentiful and fresh - even that late I enjoyed fresh Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and roast potatoes that tasted fresh out of the oven. I’m only here for a few days but hope to get back here to eat again. The food is wonderful if my nut less roast with all the trimmings was anything to go by. I washed it all down with a large glass of their Transylvanian Pinot Noir - perfect! Service was impeccable, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Visited the restaurant with a partner in the early evening. It is essentially a boat with a very cozy vibe to it. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly to sit on the outside section, but inside there's windows all facing the water where you can see ducks swimming by. The food tasted really good and the staff was welcoming, not only that but the portions of tapas are bigger than others I've visited which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit!
