The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South West

We’d been waiting to visit Lola’s for a while as every time we visit Bournemouth it’s been fully booked. Finally got in and were waiting to be delighted. … however, the food was outstandingly average.. the saving grace was the waitress, who was great. In addition the toilets weren’t clean and had parts missing from the flush. Overall it looked like the whole restaurant could do with some TLC. Disappointed

Absolutely superb food and service. Freshly cooked too perfection ! Staff are lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable to recommend dishes Ali specifically was great !

Simply fab coffee, beautifully made and the best banana loaf known to mankind. Tucked away, it’s a lovely little place well worth seeking out.

Forty5 is hidden away in the outskirts of Cheltenham but by far the best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was perfection, cooked by the very talented Gareth who came to talk us through his menu. The restaurant is in peaceful surroundings, and was lovely and quiet, for those of us who like to chat while we eat. Cocktails in the bar beforehand were also delightful. Highly recommended!

What an amazing concept! Beautiful venue , such a warm and relaxed atmosphere , coupled with outstanding food and spot on service! A truly special dining experience from these professional restaurateurs. The introduction of the courses and the source of the ingredients by Steve adds to the enjoyment of the food! Set Menu, bring your own and pay in advance , means the evening flows without distraction . We will be back for sure!

Pleased to find three Vegetarian options on the menu. Ellie went the extra mile to adapt the menu to cater to the likes of our American friends. We all had Falafel Salads and they were absolutely delicious. We only lacked the weather to sit outside with a wonderful view, but that was beyond everyone’s control. I am half Italian and when we found this restaurant had spaces on a Monday night, we were so excited. Our anticipation was not misplaced. This restaurant is five star in every single way. The team were amazing, the ambience wonderful and the food and wine off the scale in every respect. I would recommend it to all my friends and to my Mamma too, and her standards are ridiculously high. What a find!

I attend this place with a friend, every few months and have a coffee and something to eat. I have tried my own breakfast choices, curry and rice or jacket potato, chilli with rice or a jacket potato, sausage and onion sandwich, cakes and cold baguettes. The staff are very friendly, helpful and do whatever they can for you, with a smile. I will see you all on Thursday, when i come for coffee with my friend?

As always a welcoming smile, cheerful staff and outstanding freshly prepared food, local produce to enhance a fabulous tasty delicious breakfast wether eating in or taking away. A great selection of food throughout the day with efficient service plus a great atmosphere from a wonderful team of people. Can't wait to go back, keep doing the magic 🙏

Great food, great portions, decent price. Always look forward to the van coming round. And get the biscott cheesecake before the run out!!!

Absolutely Fabulous! What a great place. We popped in here for Breakfast on Sunday morning and were amazed at the amount of Gluten Free choices on the menu. All of the staff are so welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. So pleased we called in and we will be back again.

Such a delightfully quirky and unique little spot, with treasures everywhere you look! We came for breakfast and the quality of food (we had 2 vegan sausage sandwiches) was so wholesome and it was so refreshing for it all to be veggie and vegan. 100% recommend this adorable little cafe to anyone visiting the area, especially if you also love plants, gardening and vintage treasure troves 👌
