The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in North West

Really lovely food - we stayed some distance away but it was well worth the visit 😋

Absolutely one of my favourite places to have some coffee and dessert. I came around tea time so it’s not that crowded. Price is reasonable, it’s around 3£-4£ for their cheese and mushroom toast; 2.5£-4£ for their coffee; and 2£-4£ for their pastries. Other than that, the portion is quite huge and the atmosphere is perfect for people to chill and chat. The owners are friendly and nice too! Highly recommended.

Only small but great food and very friendly staff

Popped in on a whim; food was gorgeous and closest taste to Greece I've had in a while (without actually going on an expedition to Greece itself) It's a slightly tight restaurant and was busy the whole time we were in, my recommendation would be to let the food do the talking. Humus, Tzatziki, Moussaka etc all lovely

Booked a table at another local restaurant. Sat for ten minutes without being acknowledged!! So thankfully we left and ended up here where the food and service were exceptional. So much to choose from on the traditional menu and the house wine was of a good standard. Thank you team we will be back

Tasty food, prompt service, but expensive

Outstanding little tapas place. One of the best I have tried in the UK. Friendly staff but the food is really special. We are so lucky to have this in West Kirby. Better than the options across the water Busy and always booked up at weekends so plan ahead and book 2 weeks or more in advance.

We were here last night as a family group of 10 for a 30th Birthday dinner . I can honestly say we had the best service we've ever had from any restaurant. The staff are amazing, friendly, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. The food is absolutely delicious and really not expensive. Will definitely be going back . First time we've been to Sakan and it won't be the last. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely bistro. The food was absolutely delicious - We were spoiled for choice but went for the chicken shawarma wrap and a ciabatta with avacado, haloumi and mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was really good, so friendly. A hidden gem!

Went for a breakfast here on Thursday morning last week. The food was excellent and service also excellent. Highly recommend, will be back.

While the food was good the portions were virtually non existent and definitely not worth the money there is also a ten per cent gratuity added
