OPS wine bar hosted a wedding after party for family members. The service, food and drinks were all fantastic. Would highly recommend.

(Note: this restaurant is also known as 'siOn') We booked because the restaurant was within walking distance of Dulwich College - but not without trepidation as the website is aimed at diners forty or more years younger than some of us. We need not have worried, we were all made very welcome. siOn was taken into five-star territory by the quality of the food, which was excellent. We ordered a wide variety of 'smalls' and 'sides', eaten tapas-style, not a duff amongst them. Music a bit on the loud side, no hot drinks, short wine list, great cocktails. Friendly, attentive and responsive staff. No automatic service charge. An easy five stars.

A confession to being a coffee snob, I will walk the streets to find good coffee. This walk was well with it. Tucked away under the railways arches is this gem. Amazing shop fit out, a very welcoming and knowledge barista, I was teated to as delicious pour over coffee and a wonderful avocado and Halloumi wrap. Highly recommended

So this is an interesting place. First of all, let me explain all of the good points. The food is made very well, super tasty, loads of flavour, delicious. For this I’ll give 5/5, I didn’t eat anything that was bad. As a group on a business evening meal with my team this was also a lovely, busy, fun ambience in a pretty converted building and sitting upstairs was a great atmosphere. For a group booking where you want to all share food, the menu is also perfect as the dishes and style of food lend themselves to being shared my multiple people so this makes the whole experience very sociable. Again 5/5. Now onto the not so good… Drinks prices … £7.50 for an Israeli beer is outrageous. 330ml coke in glass bottle £5.00 outrageous. Wine, pretty rubbish list and hideously overpriced so didn’t bother at all. You should also be aware that as a group of 6 people spending over £300 weeks only ordered 1 drink each during the whole meal for two reasons. Firstly, the drinks were so extortionately priced, even for London, high rents, blah blah whatever! And secondly, which brings me onto my next point…we were a table of 6 people on business, with corporate credit cards and yet virtually no waiters ever came over to offer us more drinks or to see how our food was! So the service was pretty non existent which in a place so highly priced is not acceptable. So we got charged £37 for rubbish service, far from ideal, including it taking them forever to bring us our bill at the end! And then food prices. Yes, the food is good, but when you look at what goes into the dishes, much of it is either vegetarian or where there was a protein it was a tiny amount of meat or fish in the dish. So a good example…Houmous in a typical Turkish restaurant would be no more than £8 and you would be served as much pitta bread as you can eat! At this restaurant houmous was £12-15 each but the pitta was extra so we got charged £24.50 for pitta alone, which probably cost the restaurant about £2.00 and should have been included in the price of the houmous! Other main dishes are £20+ but were also small and disappeared in minutes between six of us. Overall, this was hugely disappointing…we paid £333 and left still hungry for more food, thirsty after a lack of drinks and underwhelmed all round! For this kind of money we recently had an outstanding meal with wine in a high quality restaurant in Chelsea which shows you how overcharged this place is. In a Turkish or Greek restaurant we would have paid £200 for the same kind of meal! Change your pricing and improve your service and you’d be a 5/5 and still here in 3 years time. Don’t, and I’m guessing you will long since be shut down by 2027!

I absolutely love it here! Moved around the corner about 6 months ago, and this lil place has been such a staple and made us feel super at home here. Really cosy and chill environment, amazing sandwiches (I'm not normally a sandwich person, but these are unreal!), great and friendly service and the coffee is unreal, every single time, without fail.

We visited at 2pm on a weekday afternoon, the place looked popular and had many customers. We tried the cheese burger and the vegetarian burger, both were really disappointing. The beef patty in the cheeseburger was full of gristle and had no flavour. The vegetarian burger also lacked a lot of taste. It is a shame as the food looks very good but obviously made with low quality ingredients, wish we’d tried somewhere else instead.
