The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Southwark London

Not proper meat and not fresh food at all :( very nice staff though. do not really recomend it to anyone but tastes ok at least.

Table service is extremely slow. The man waiter (to describe him accurately, he is the man who is on the heavier side of the weighing scale, with a beard and wears glasses) is rude. The said waiter initially said food will be served in 30 minutes. At the 45 minute mark, food was still not there. When i told him that I will only be paying for coffee because I had to leave, he literally said “I told you so that it will take 30 minutes.” I told him that its been 45 minutes since I ordered and he just said “Well, thats how it is.” Food is actually good. Very bad customer service. If you are happy to wait for about an hour for your food, by all means.

It's the most dishonest restaurant I visited in London. Check your bill, what it says in the Manu is no what they charge. The food is very basic the service is very basic. Not recommended.

Delicious tapas under the railway arches in an unusual setting. We enjoyed all our dishes. Very friendly welcome. Well worth a visit.

Amo este lugar. Entramos, nos preguntaron qué nos gustó y nos obsequiaron con la más increíble variedad de comida. No comimos carne, así que era todo veggie y pescado, pero la carne parecía y olía increíble. El servicio no podría ser mejor y realmente se sintió como si hubiéramos vuelto al Líbano. También increíble valor.

The restaurant looks very classy and the food was chef’s kiss. The meat was cooked to perfection and had a great taste. Finally, the staff and waiters were friendly and provided quick service. :)))

Mi comida principal fue la envoltura Shawarma de pollo con papa picante. El pollo en sí estaba subsazonado, pero su salsa lo hizo mucho mejor. Sin embargo, el sabor del shawarma aún era inconsistente a pesar de esto y un poco de él era demasiado salado. This is a nice little find in Camberwell, a Lebanese cafe serving shwarmas and mixed grills cooked over a real charcoal the way it should be and not on a metal griddle surface like your local greasy kebab shop. I had a lamb kofte that came served with Lebanese rice and salad. I had this with a serving of falafel and carrot juice on the side. Great lunch. With an extra juice, the entire thing came up to £9 and I was completely satisfied. Everything cooked to perfection and very tasty indeed. The décor is simple and honest and the guy behind the counter is friendly. Good place for a good, healthy lunch at an affordable price.
