A big thank you for accommodating our 18th birthday family lunch, really appreciate that you went out of your way to make it work (with more people than we'd booked for) both upstairs and downstairs rooms are delightful. Feast menu both meat and vegan went down really well, thoroughly enjoyed by all and the bonus boxes to take home food was great too! And thank you for the birthday candle in the desert. Excellent food! We shared the tomato meatballs, shrimp and roasted cauliflower and all 3 were excellent!! Very tasty and great service. We are upstairs and the room has a cool vibe. Really fun place to eat and the surrounding area is fun to walk in before or after. Reasonable prices. I will come here again!

A Portuguese restaurant , a new taste for us. Everything we had was good. The shrimp w/tails and head on was not a favorite tho, don’t like the mess but tasted good. The wine was good and never have had Portuguese wine either. Our waitress was sweet and helpful on what was good. Worth a try.

We ate a Casa Do Frango on a busy Thursday evening (book ahead). The space remains a nice one albeit a little loud. Our small plates were nice but the larger ones less so (and not as good as on previous occasions). The piri piri chicken was fairly bland, the cauliflower was really mediocre and the chips a bit soggy. Service was good except for a sneaky little trick at the end - the bill already comes with an annoying (but increasingly ubiquitous) 12.5% service charge but then the restaurant asks you to pay via an app that again asks for a tip. On the app, it is not clear that the service charge has already been added so I suspect that CdF is tricking customers into paying more. Patrons beware!

El restaurante es muy agradable, la comida no está mal de sabor pero las cantidades de los platos y los precios no se corresponden en nada con lo bien que se come en Portugal. Por un plato con tres trocitos de chorizo 9 libras!!! Y por 4 croquetas 9'5. Y por un tercio de cerveza , eso si de Portugal, 6 libras, lo que por cierto en Portugal no pasa de 2 euros. Pero esto es Londres y aquí estos precios parecen normales. Ah, y te clavan un 12'5 por ciento de propina!!!!

I went to this lovely restaurant with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. It was a lovely experience for us. We will definitely come back.

Lovely calm atmosphere in the restaurant with good vibes. Food was fab 👍🏽 👌🏾 ...loved the chorizo, prawns and sweet potatoes...their cocktails also strong as it should be. Customer service was top notch too.

Casa do Frango @ London Bridge is a well - appointed restaurant serving a delicious Portuguese menu. The Manager, Ms. Janila and our Hostess, Ms. Judith were very friendly and efficient. Thank you for giving us a memorable experience.

We love Casa do Frango. The space is lovely - airy and atmospheric. Even when it's full (which is often) you can hear each other easily. It's not haute cuisine but really good Portuguese comfort food. Great garlic prawns, super piri-piri chicken, great range of simple but delicious desserts. Our lovely Hungarian waitress made us feel very much at home and, at our request, they did not rush us at all. It's a simple menu, doe very well, but I do hope that they increase the range of dishes on offer here, in line with Piccadilly and Shoreditch branches. Unlike many of the tourist traps around London Bridge it doesn't break the bank.

We were upstairs. Acoustics are awful so had no voice the following day. Chicken was good but we had looked at the menu online and chosen because of the seafood rice for two option for the non meat eaters. Unfortunately this wasn’t on the menu so they were stuck with cauliflower and very disappointed

The food is good in Casa do Frango London Bridge, but it has a glass roof and in hot weather the group table is unbearably hot and sunny for lunch, because they have no blinds on the glass roof. Ruined my birthday to be honest as it was really stressful - we had to keep swapping seats. Manager was testy with me when I complained and didn’t apologize - in these times of climate change this must happen every weekend lunch over summer and I hope people looking to book groups take note of this review Honestly it was like sitting under a magnifying class. Managers suggestion was just swap with my guests, like I want to invite people to lunch then sit them in the burning heat. Just buy some blinds!

New find for me (by recommendation) - beautiful restaurant (upstairs best) - great secret hideaway bar. Food delicious, great vibe, super busy and buzzy. Staff are friendly and attentive, especially our main waiter, Dami, made recommendations (good ones) and suggestions - all with a warm smile. I will definitely be returning!

This is my third visit to this location and the first time I’ve experienced poor customer service. I had booked a table nearly 2 weeks and confirmed my booking. However, when we arrived our booking couldn’t be found and was told that we could have got it wrong or possibly another location. I showed my booking confirmation and was then told another person by the same name had been seated at our table. No apologies at all. Very unprofessional front of staff lacking little social skills. Our food was good and waiter was nice and efficient. Restaurant very busy and staff all seemed to be rushed.

We booked despite visiting at 6pm as we had to travel after the meal and by 7pm both the ground floor and upstairs (where we were) was packed. Tapas style small plates offer a variety of meat and vegetarian options which the four of us shared. We then had 3 portions of chicken and a couple of sides between us and it was plenty. They have a range of cocktails and beers as well as wines. Good vibes and there is a bar upstairs which is separate from the main dining area and looks very cool. Friendly efficient staff

We had lunch here today. It was brilliant. Tasty Portuguese tapas style sharing. In a vibrant atmosphere. Really good cocktails. The food was excellent. A special thank you must go for the great service we got from Sydney who looked after us so well. A family treat for my birthday that couldn't be faulted

A enjoyable evening....covert was good large portion of bread and olives etc.....our peri peri chicken was tasty as was the vegetables and sweet potatoes. The only disappointment was the fries!! Tasteless and let's the chicken down! Good service with plenty of attention and we had complimentary shots! Good vibe and food!! Had a wonderful lunch at this beautiful restaurant on Thursday. The food was lovely, especially the prawns with lots of garlicky oil to mop up with the generous serving of bread. The chicken was very tasty too. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially our lovely Lithuanian waiter. We weren't rushed at all, and were able to take our time over a very nice bottle of rose, and linger well into the afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Generally good. Great space. Cauliflower dish is HUGE and could do with more thought on how to get deeper flavour. Prawns lovely. Chicken tasty but slightly overcooked. Main improvement would be service which was a bit inattentive. We had to wait to be served and for any supplementary drinks so losing out in sales there!

We went for lunch with friends. The food was good but a bit pricey - £9.50 for 4 small croquettes, £9 for 4 tiny bacalhau fritters but there were very good desserts. Chorizo was poor - 4 tiny pieces and very tough. Disappointed with the service. Within 5 minutes of being seated, three times our waiter asked for our order even though we were one of the few occupied tables. No idea why we were being rushed. As regular travellers to Portugual we wanted a glass of sherry/port/madeira wine to start with. We were told they didn't serve such drinks. We politely asked if the waiter could check with the bar staff. Two more waiters told us the only drinks were those on the back of the main menu so we ordered from that list. When we asked for the dessert menu we were shocked to find that madeira wine and port were listed there and we then ordered them. No idea how three waiters didn't understand what drinks were available.

My husband and I have been going to Casa do Frango for over 4 years now, this says a lot! I had to update my review, because each time we go we have a better experience. First of all the staff are fantastic, polite, friendly, kind, especially Gideon that served us, he was great! He had a happy vibe, had a smile on his face every time he spoke to us. He was brilliant! When we visited the restaurant it was very busy (bank holiday) but the service was not slow at all. The food is absolutely delicious! One of the best chicken I have ever eaten in London. The salad is divine, the casa rice is fantastic, the chips are cooked to perfection. Everything is fabulous! Now, there is a very special reason as well I love Casa do Frango and that is their almond cake! Almond cake is very traditional in Portugal and wow their cake is PERFECT! The best one I have ever had so far and I always order it in Portugal but nothing can beat the one from Casa do Frango. My husband and I adore Portuguese food and we always think we're back in Portugal when we go to Casa do Frango. Overall, it was an amazing experience! and We'll be back (for sure).

My friend and I enjoyed a good meal here Saturday lunchtime. The restaurant is based in a converted warehouse and the 1st floor room we ate in was really charming. We shared 4 starters rather than have the chicken. The food was delicious. We had the casa rice, cauliflower, cod fritters and chorizo. The house white we had was also very good. Service was quick and attentive. The location is great, being tucked behind Borough Market near London Bridge

The setting is truly lovely. The staff were very friendly, although rather slow. The food was alright. The starters and mains came out at the same time, so the chicken and fries were cold by the time we started eating them. The chicken was very tasty but overcooked (therefore dry). The dessert (bolo de bolacha) was lovely. While I wouldn't be opposed to going back, I wouldn't recommend it.

Set under that railway arches and there is a cute upstairs bar in an arch. Cool relaxed surroundings and food was great. Frango is chicken in Portuguese and it's Piri-Piri style. Staff were great.

Returning with my husband to sample the gracious hospitality of the London Bridge Casa do Frango after the issues we had at Shoreditch ( what a shame). There is nothing like Returning to your first love...and this restaurant definitely is that. The staff, the food the drinks...all superb, in a relaxed informal atmosphere that just makes a perfect evening. I will put a special name check to Mark, Nelson and Dami in the restaurant for their attention to detail. And in the beautiful hidden bar, thats sooo chilled..thank you to Issac and Megan for the amazing drinks. Come here and enjoy a unique experience. A restaurant that really cares for its customers - ( being out in london with no pretensioness, good alcohol, good food, good and a relaxed vibe = perfect recipe!)

I booked a table for 5 but we were sat on a table for 4 with an extra chair just shoved on the end, not great when it was for my son's 18th. The food was amazing though and I would highly recommend it.

This is some of the best restaurant cooked chicken I've had anywhere. The meat was incredibly moist, the flavour was great and it came relatively quickly, given that we ordered four whole chickens. It was also fairly reasonably priced, although the sides were possibly a little on the pricy side. The service was great and the room itself was beautifully bright, with lots of plants and interesting original features of the buildings past.

Overpriced with small portions, waitress is horrible, they can't manage to do simple things without mistakes, the table was on the ground floor and the wind was constantly blowing on us. Every waiter kept knocking into my chair due to how cramped the tables were. They couldn't manage to bring the food that we asked for. We were there on on 9th of December and our table was booked at 4:45, it seemed as if the two waitresses girls did not care about there jobs. We asked to change table, but nobody cared. We were served by two girl waitresses. The situation became better when boy waiter came to us at the end. This whole experience was at London bridge.

We ordered a half chicken and a selection of plates to share. The chicken had tiny portions, canapè size, resembling animal cruelty. Each portion included half a breast and a drumstick; no leg, slaw, or fries. Priced at £14, it felt like a ripoff. The Iberico croquettes were four table tennis-sized bites, offering good flavor at £8.5, but essentially costing £2 per bite. The Fejoada was half a tin of baked beans priced at £10. The chorizo was hard and overcooked, more like a preserved salami, costing £9. Comparatively, Nando's is much better and more affordable. The chicken here is tender but half the size of Nando's for £14, and extras like fries and slaw are additional. The piri piri sauce was a disaster. The croquettes were okay, but only four small balls. In summary, the experience fell short, both in quantity and quality, especially when considering better alternatives like Nando's.

We sat upstairs which is really spacious with high ceilings and the plants add to the atmosphere which feels like being abroad. The menu is plentiful in choice and they label some allergens ie GF for gluten free. Our service was friendly and efficient & our server was knowledgeable regarding allergies and able to advise. The food is Portuguese sharing tapas, although you could order the half chicken as a main & have sides, but this can also be shared/it’s cut to share. The prawns & sweet potato dishes were superb, the chicken was slightly lack lustre, we found it dry, the peri sauce that comes with it was very nice. The drinks menu also has a lot of choice including sangria, vino verde & plenty more. It is quite a lively restaurant with wooden floorboards & the noise does travel, if your looking for a quiet meal this may not be the place, but it’s great for meeting with friends. Overall enjoyable experience, would recommend to friends & come back.

First time visit after a recommendation, and really enjoyed it. Great decor and ambience on the Sunday afternoon we visited, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu is simple, we shared the cauliflower and prawns, followed by the piri piri chicken, rice, garlic mushrooms and slaw and we enjoyed all the dishes, with a lovely bottle of wine. Loved the relaxed sharing vibe and I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Cant say we enjoyed it. Apart from the fact that it is very loud, unable to have a civilised conversation but thats not the restaurants fault. Forget the not so professional receptionist as well as the inexperinced waiters, who seem to be students who have never worked in hospitality before, but the most disappointing thing was the tiny portions. We orderdered 1/2 chicken each. What we got was miniature chickens. We should have gone to Nondos.

Superb food and outstanding service. We had a tiny quibble on one of the dishes which wasn't quite as good as it should have been and without even asking we had an apology and complimentary bottle of wine. 5 stars to the team! I will be coming back and highly recommend it.
