The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in East Midlands

Staff and atmosphere was very good. Although felt a bit cold but understand it’s an old building. However I have left todsy feeling totally ripped off.and hungry. I ordered off the specials menu a pork belly bun with slaw, it was priced at £12.50 and the waitress did say it wasn’t for sharing…. Thank goodness she told me… I honestly could have finished in two mouthfuls. A small square of belly pork in a tiny bun with some slaw. At the most worth £5 but £12.50 seriously…. Won’t be going back in a hurry which is a shame.

The food here is always decent but the delivery service is poor and is just getting worse. Just under 2 hours today to receive my order🤷‍♀️

Very limited menu unfortunately but i had Brazilian black beans and it was delicious.

Terrible food. Cake was stale, I couldn't eat it. Staff did not speak Portuguese. I was very disappointed with the experience.

The food was excellent here, we had a mixture between us, including; pasta, pizza and steak. Everyone said how good their meal was. The setting of this place is very cool, we were all saying how we would love to come back in the summer to sit outside next to the canal.

The name is NOT ottoman kitchen, no bar tender, dishes came without the correct accompaniments, £17 for about 3 handfuls of salad with 5 lumps of feta and no dressing posing as "greek salad". However the staff were nice, the Sigara borega (feta cheese in filo pastry) was delicious.

-- UPDATE as of Fri 29th June, 2018 -- Had a really good evening here. Simple, low key, good food. A really enjoyable experience. Also, check out the caipirinhas !! -- Previously -- I have now used this place a couple of times for take away food. I like the look of the seated area. Simple, honest, no frills. Also has a covered area at the back for shisha.
