The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

Dropped in for an impromptu lunch whilst visiting family in Worthing and completely unexpectedly had one of the best meals of my life and I've travelled a lot and eaten in many incredible restaurants. The food here is just beautiful. Amazing flavours, great service and very good value for money. If I lived in Worthing, I'd eat here ridiculously often. Don't die before you've tried their Miso Maple Pecan Pie! That's my advice.

Excellent food and service and reasonably priced.food is freshly made and very tasty would definitely recommend and will be going again!

Restaurant empty at 1800. Burger arrived cut into it rare, not good for a burger, 2x noodle chicken and prawns, prawns uncooked not good for prawns, 2 other meals. Noticed food was undercooked immediately challenged staff, they offered to remedy, presumably by reheating, rejected offer, paid for wine, soft drink, prawn crackers and left.

Rude impolite staff members. As per old reviews, chicken katsu is clearly undercooked even though their comments page say otherwise! Avoid avoid!

Después de haber comido en algunos de los mejores restaurantes de todo el mundo, puedo decir fácilmente que esta experiencia de sabor alegre y armoniosa y el maridaje de sake no se pueden comparar con nada que haya tenido antes. Sinceramente, casi empecé a llorar por toda la experiencia y la alegría que mis papilas gustativas y mi lengua estaban encontrando en platos que no tenía idea de que podían saborear tan bien juntos. También tuve el maridaje de sake y fue simplemente exquisito. Vaya, vaya.

Absolutamente me encanta el sushi aquí, lo aplastan fuera del parque cada vez. Bonito ambiente frío, vine aquí por mi cuenta y el personal es encantador y acogedor. Puede ser un almuerzo rápido o una comida de descanso, vibraciones muy casuales. Amor amor amor amor 🫶🏻

In giro per South Bank, alle 21.45 affamati e infreddoliti chiediamo ai ragazzi alla Reception se potessimo accomodarci, l'orario di chiusura sarebbe arrivato di li a 15 minuti. Con un estrema gentilezza, il cuoco ci indica un tavolo comunicandoci soltanto di indicargli le portate in un unico ordine. Visto il freddo, l'unica scelta possibile e desiderata era la zuppa di miso. Il cuoco cucina solo per noi due in una location molto semplice ma estremamente identitaria (Sembrava di essere in un vicolo di Tokyo). La nostra sorpresa è stata il gusto eccezionale della zuppa, veramente pazzesca. Torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta che saremo a Londra!

Fuimos para un almuerzo entre semana con una reserva en su lugar. Este es de 3 pisos con sólo 2 camareras. No mucha gente, pero muchos conductores deliveroo viniendo las camareras eran hasta cierto punto ocupado con llevar los pedidos. El servicio era lento, pero la comida era buena. Generosas porciones. Bueno y variado menú. La comida estaba bien preparada, excepto que era Yakitori quemados. Claramente este restaurante podría ser fácilmente 5 estrellas pero necesitamos más personal y más rápido servicio. Un grupo de 5 trabajadores de oficina y no nos sirve vino en el tiempo y a la izquierda antes de comer. Debería haber sido posible para servir a ellos como no muy concurrida. Los precios aquí son razonables. Los propietarios deben emplear más gente para hacer de este un muy buen restaurante. Otro punto más importante es la señoras loo. Bastante nefasto y no limpio. Esto no debería ocurrir.

Introduced to this place earlier in the week and loved it. Really delicious food and love that you can choose your size of rice, spice and a side too. Really tasty and great value. Second visit and had the thinly sliced beef curry. Delicious. Not a place for a long meal but a perfect refuelling before heading off to theatre or something!

I feel bad for waiting so long to write this... after visiting on a whim with friends, I don't think I would want to go anywhere else to eat. The staff are amazing, we literally had our meals designed for us based on what flavours we liked by the amazing chef. The staff were so knowledgeable about the food they could offer, everything had a story and they made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. For anyone suggesting the wait time was too long, this isn't Mc Donald's, all food seems to be cooked from fresh and tastes incredible. If you want immediate feeding go to KFC, this is a quality restaurant and that takes time! The wait, which isnt an issue, is so worth it. Have a bottle of wine and a chat and you will be eating before you know it. My food was so delicious, so tasty and well prepared I just couldn't believe I was in St Helens. There is not one bad thing I can say. Very few tables so you feel looked after, and like you are lucky to be there. Just try it, you will not be disappointed, and the value for money is outrageous! You will be gutted your stomach cant hold more! AMAZING!!!!

The best sushi I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Amazing price for the amount of sushi you get and quality of ingredients used. Also a great selection of non sushi dishes. My Nan had the Katsu chicken curry which was also fantastic. The Chef and waitress were great and very welcoming when you arrive and makes sure you have everything you need while you are there. Would highly recommend anyone to try this wonderful restaurant.

地下鉄、Swiss Cottageの駅から歩いて6、7分くらいでしょうか。日本の方がやっているケーキ屋さんです。 見た目もきれいで美味しく、甘さもちょうど良い、日本で食べるケーキと同じものが食べられます。日本のデザートが恋しくなったら是非行ってみてください。 今回購入したのはタルトとフルーツケーキ。 フルーツケーキはドライフルーツがぎっしり！

I was with a group of friends celebrating a birthday, the super nice place there is DJ all night, the attention of the staff spectacular as well as what we tried; sweet potato tempura with yuzu shichimi yasai and the MAKI ROLLS was very delicious. The acceptable price according to the place. I'll definitely come back
