Tonkotsu in Kensington and Chelsea

Not sure how this place has such a good rating. Good ramen starts w good broth and the broth at this place is quite mediocre. The only good thing about the restaurant was the service. The servers were very nice and professional. The food was- nah.

Nel cuore di Notting Hill, a pochi passi da Portobello road. Menù praticamente solo di gyoza e ramen, se vi piacciono, merita davvero! Si mangia al bancone guardando i cuochi che preparano i piatti!

Your ramen is fine. But your usp is the bits in your chilli oil. That's why you say "eat the bits" on the jars you sell. So when the jars you give dine in customers are topped up with chilli oil WITHOUT bits to save you money, what we get is disappointing. And we do notice. So please don't make us ask for bits to be added so we get what we expect and what it says on the label. Would be great if you respond acknowledge and take this on board. Thank you!

My partner & I were soo excited to go here & it wasn't a let down. (3 times visiting so far) The broth is amazing strong rich & bold, the chicken is full of flavour! I personally am a person who has to be in the mood for an egg so I was glad they served it on the side so my partner could have it instead! I do love chilli but my lips can't handle it (I personally ignore it if the food is good hehe) I highly recommend trying this dish! This time visiting we tried their gyoza & they were so juicy & crispy on the oneside perfect! The only let down is I'd love alot more mangetout with my ramen but that's just a preference!

As a fan of Tonkotsu ramen, whenever I travel and find a restaurant that serves it, I must try it. I can assure you, it is excellent! The broth is dense, creamy and tastes great. It's served copiously. Price: 12,95£ If you are looking for a good Tonkotsu ramen, you can go there!

The best Japanese restaurant in all of Notting Hill. The staff makes the place extra welcoming and the food is second to none. The manager Egle even is lovely and made sure we were satisfied with our food. The chili prawn ramen and Chilli chicken ramen were a highlight.

Confirmed to me that Japanese is not a fav of mine but nothing at all wrong with the food - all dishes were fresh and flavoursome. Good music helped create good vibes here too ..

Walked by after visiting the Notting Hill bookstore and thankfully we stopped to eat. The ramen was great. Had the Tokyo. Also had the dumplings and they were good as well. The service was good. Sat outside. They had limited seating inside that was bar type. Highly recommend.

This place is EXCELLENT! The Chilli Tiger Prawn Ramen is fabulous but the sides are also really delicious. I recommend the Prawn, spring onion & ginger gyoza and King prawn katsu is amazing. We discovered this little ramen shop recently. Quite small and busy inside, with a set of tables with outdoor heaters just outside the store. The service was friendly and attentive. We loved chicken ramen, as well as chicken katsu curry. Good value for money too.

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. We were seated at a smaller table which was fine but the waitress asked us if we wanted a bigger one just so we would be more comfortable. I really appreciated that level of thoughtfulness and I want the manger to be aware that their Sunday staff works hard. The food was pretty good and we will definitely be back.

First time trying ramen and wasn’t disappointed! Had the chicken Karage to start which was delicious followed by the Tonkotsu ramen and my friend had the spicy Gei Kara. Staff were friendly and attentive and it was decently priced too

This spot is EXCELLENT! The Ramon is good (of course) but the chicken kar age and the gyoza sides are also really great. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered from here with my boyfriend (not for the first time) and we ordered different things. As soon as he finished what his food, his stomach felt funny and he woke up the next day with a bout of food poisoning and runny tummy. It was definitely the food as he was fine before. Ordered close to closing so that could be a factor but v. gross and disappointing. Won’t be returning.

Ran into this small ramen shop a few minutes from a busy Saturday lunchtime on Portobello road. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the Tonkotsu ramen was delicious. It’s made right in front of you as the bar seating is in front of the kitchen and everything is cooked fresh. The Tonkotsu broth was rich and flavourful and the pork is to die for however not crazily cheap at 11/12£ each, but worth the money as the portions are very generous. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other things on the menu!
