Great dish, good service, the place is pretty but the musical atmosphere seems a little off to me, I still recommend it.

The staff are really welcoming and patient they also give complimentary miso soup, I got the chicken Katsu, it’s really good. The rice is fluffy and the chicken is really crispy and good. Highly recommend you can tell everything is freshly cooked and made with care

The food at Kappa is exceptional. Fish is great quality and, even after going multiple times, I have never been disappointed. The restaurant is a cozy neighborhood place, quite small, but has a good atmosphere to it. The service is always good, and the price to value ratio is exceptional. Recommend for take away or sitting in, one of the best places around this area. Side note, the Unaju Don is INCREDIBLE if you like Eel.

Had a spicy salmon roll for lunch (takeaway) - was excellent. Service also quick and friendly. Not cheap, but with fish, you get what you pay for I suppose.

Used to be good sushi, but went downhill for some reason. Ordered from them via deliveroo today, they delivered mackerel instead of chutoro sushi, and included long hair as a freebie.

Attentive service, great selection of drinks, and quality food. I recommend the spicy beef filet--not so much spicy as seasoned. Korean options are also available. It doesn't really have an Asian ambiance, but that's a minor detail. The price was reasonable for London--29 pounds for an entree, a side, and two beers.

Everything we tried was really good and was reasonably priced. Super quick service, we only waited a few minutes for our order to arrive. Would recommend the Harumaki and the Chicken Udon

Service was good- delicious food especially the creamy scallop spicy sushi. They were generous by giving me a tuna dish sashimi too.

I tried the gyoza (veg), miso and waygu beef. Absolutely faultless, what a amazing place I recommend this to anyone. The waygu is incredible and high grade. The chef has cooked this dish to perfection, slight crisp on the outside but still melts in your mouth. It also has just the right portion of green vegetables. The dipping sauce is not over powering which is great. The only let down I have is the chop sticks, they could be better quality to suit the great quality food that is delivered from this kitchen.

Small, welcoming and nice atmosphere restaurant. There are rightly 12 tables. Food is good. And prices are fair. Service is quick and the presentation is on point. Flavours are bold and unique. Especially the truffle scallops. Delicious! We went on a Saturday evening and it wasn’t too busy. The beef skewers were really tasty! Highly recommended.

Been to this restaurant in multiple occasions after training with my friends - one of the few spots in the area that'll be open until 11pm (last orders tend to be at 10:30). Their menu mainly consists of a mix of Korean and Japanese food. Each one pretty solid - good selection of tasty rolls and good Korean fried chicken. Their kimchi is homemade and is really good, one of my favourites in London! The one set of dishes I haven't loved are the noodles - have tried both the yaki soba and udon and they lack flavour

The food is relatively light. The egg plant was steams with Miso. We loved it. Kimchi was wonderful and also the chicken udon soup was very good.

Locale senza pretese, valido per un pasto veloce. Non molto pulito l’interno. Il menu proposto spazia dal cinese al giapponese, con varie proposte etniche. My Partner and I got the worst food poisoning we've ever had from our meal here yesterday. We had sushi and tempura, it was served quickly. In hindsight this just demonstrated it wasn't fresh and possibly hanging around all day. We would recommend to avoid at all costs. It isn't worth the risk.

I had a work trip to London so we thought we could have some nice meal the night before. It had nice selection of Japanese food and very nice wine. Will definitely come back when visiting London. The food was fresh and the portions was perfect size - not too small or not too big.

We were astonished at the amazing quality of the food in this unpretentious restaurant. At first look, we thought the prices seemed a little high but, when the food arrived we were very pleased - the quantities were very generous and my daughter's seared salmon sushi roll was the best she'd ever tasted. It was presented so beautifully and creatively - it was like something you'd expect in a high end restaurant. I had the sweet and spicy Korean chicken which was yummy

Good portion in general, but compared to the price (and in London) I'd say the value is incredible. Fresh ingredients, the sashimi was delicious (we had the fatty tuna which melts in the mouth), and they bring you a bit of a snack of edamame beans to have whilst enjoying an Asahi or Sapporo beer. The lady at the front of the house was brilliant, kind, and very attentive. Kudos!

Pleasant, but overly salted food with good service with fun colorful dishes and a busy atmosphere. Staff were serving too many people.

As a previous waitress working here, I want to encourage anyone applying to think carefully. The interview is simple and unprofessional. I was not given a contract and was notified of the salary after I messaged them the day before working. The hourly salary is below London minimum working wage for anyone below the age of 26. And, at working wage, if you are over 26. While I was working there, there was no training. I was only given a very brief introduction to the role by another waitress on my first day. After 2 weeks of trial shift, I was told to leave as the owner do not want to keep anyone that weren't' trained well. Bear in mind, no training is even provided! I would like to mention this, as I don't want another person to face the same disappointment as I did. If you want to work in hospitality, I highly recommend you to look elsewhere.

Generous portion of beef donburi. Sushi and hand roll - Would recommend. Definitely worth 4 to 5 stars if only looking at the sushi. Chicken Yokitori and black bean sauce noodle - would not recommend.

這店裡有一位服務員萬分之差，根本就係種族歧視，我一位到達時（我是中國人）大約晚上19:15pm，她向我說沒有位，但同時同樣有一位客人剛到達時在我之後，他也是一位（外國人）她竟然對他說需要等5分鐘左右，我當時問她（服務員）為何我沒有位但這位先生可以有位只需要等5分鐘？她沒有回答只是對我說沒有位，我問她那位先生有預先預定時間？之後另一位服務員對我說需要等15分鐘左右，我真的感受到被種族歧視，在我等候期間不到5分鐘左右已經安排坐位給我，我看見那位外國人在同一時間已離開不在餐廳等候坐位，我有惠顧我的晚餐，因為我需要為本次的不愉快體驗分享，需然她的服務差及對我帶有岐視成份，但這裡的食物是有水準的，當然我不會再次惠顧這餐廳。

I was seated. But no server ever came to ask me for drinks or to take my order. Waited 12 minutes and then left. People next to me also had a hard time getting someone to bring them their bill to pay. Super disappointed as I was looking forward to eating here. The food looked really good. Owner: please make sure when you seat someone you ask them if they’d like a drink or to place an order within at least 5 minutes.

Really bad food and bad attitude solve the problem I ordered the spicy noodle soup through Uber eats They forgot to put ingredients It tastes nothing completely It is water absolutly water taste with red color So I suggest bring it back So make again or refund it But they don't They said "we can't refund it" "If you older again, we will put soup on side" Why I have to pay the delivery fee again ? You have to bring it or send it or refund it if you don't know how to do Take notes customer info and ask to boss or manager And have to feed back , what you can do , send it or refund it whatever

夕食に日本食を食べたいなら、ぜひオススメ。値段はやや高いですが、パンばかりで食欲がないなら、日本食はありがたいです。うちの息子は、どんなヨーロッパ料理よりも食欲が湧いたと言っていました。うどんが1000円くらい、ラーメンが1200円くらい、カツ丼が1500円くらいです。

The Japanese menu offered an impressive selection. The food was good, but not great. The space needs a renovation and looked like the business was more focused on delivery service than in house restaurant customers.

All the food was fantastic, it was delicious and came quickly. Service was great, fast and helpful. When I ordered a drink they didn't have I was offered alternatives instead very quickly and concisely. I would recommend however I would check what comes with your dish as the Tonkatsu came with salad when I expected something else, but that's on me for not checking.

My third time this year, food is nice and service is very fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the area.

Ordered Gyudon and received a bowl of mushy rice with Yakiniku seasoned beef on top, it was absolutely appalling and price wise very expensive for what it was

Delicious Japanese cuisine and a nice ambience. A reservation was not necessary in the afternoon and we were able to place our order directly via a QR code at the table. Only the food and drinks we ordered were delivered to us. Very tasty, hot and good quality. The prices were really fair. So be sure to stop by if you fancy Japanese cuisine :)

Kappa is a surprisingly good Japanese takeaway restaurant (which also have some Korean dishes) near Earls Court station. They have quite affordable bento boxes for lunch, and for dinner you can get a rice topping meal for around £15 - not too bad! I really liked the Chirashi Don I got, the fish was fresh and was served on top of sushi rice. If you want sharing dishes, I highly recommend trying the Korean Fried Chicken (I liked the soy and garlic) or the Beef Teppan! It’s Japanese takeaway, but at least I have an alternative to Eat Tokyo when I find myself near Earls Court.

Mediocre food. Tempura was unseasoned and the sauce tasted like water, yet fried perfectly somehow. Donburi was terrible, terrible eel, terrible rice, terrible tempura don. Never saw tempura don with mayo on it. Sushi was too warm, rice tasted bland, awful ginger pickles. I would never come back.

Basically, it’s my first time to write the review under huge anger. I am writing this complaint to express my utter disappointment and frustration with the experience I had at your Japanese restaurant. The level of service provided was completely unacceptable, the staff demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, and the dish I received was entirely different from what was advertised. My primary issue arose when I ordered the seared salmon. The server failed to mention that it does not come with chilli sauce, which is an essential component of the dish for me. Instead, they kept insisting that it was the same thing I had ordered, which was not the case. Furthermore, when the dish arrived, it looked nothing like the picture in the menu. The presentation was sloppy, and the ingredients seemed to be of poor quality. The audacity of the staff to persuade me to believe that the dish was acceptable is appalling. As a paying customer, I should be able to trust that what I see on the menu is what I will receive on my plate. To make matters worse, when I approached the manager to seek resolution for the situation, she displayed a shockingly rude demeanor. Her tone and gestures were aggressive and unprofessional, making me feel even more unwelcome and dissatisfied with my dining experience. This level of disrespect is inexcusable, particularly from someone who is supposed to manage and resolve customer concerns. I cannot stress enough how deeply unhappy I am with this visit. I have never encountered such a lack of care and attentiveness to a customer's needs, and the blatant false advertising only adds insult to injury. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact, I will actively discourage others from patronizing your establishment. It is a disservice to your customers to allow such behavior and misrepresentation to continue unchecked. I sincerely hope that you take this complaint to heart and address the issues that have been highlighted here. It is my belief that no one should have to endure such a poor dining experience.

그럭저럭 먹을만은 하지만 맛있지는 않다. 특히 내가 먹은 돼지고기볶음우동에서는 돼지 누린내가 났다. 김치가 중국 전통음식이라고 써있길래, 이상하다고 생각했는데 맛이 딱 중국산 김치맛이었다. Kimchi is not Chinese traditional food. It is Korean traditional food.

There are four reasons not to go to this restaurant: 1. overrated, 2. overpriced, 3. terrible service, 4. lousy atmosphere. We were told to order our meal by phone, while others who came in after us were given menus and waited on and served before us. They bought gyoza to the table which were tasteless, greasy, and overcooked, with no utensils (i.e. chopsticks) and no plates. We were told we had to request plates if we wanted them - unbelievable!! The sushi was warm and bland at best. The restaurant is a dark corridor with delivery people with helmuts going back and forth the whole time we were not enjoying our very overrated and expensive sushi. Come on folks - don't waste your time and money at this place.

Great Japanese/South Korean restaurant. The portions are great and tasty. Recommend the Korean Fried Chicken, Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap, Unagi Cup and the pork bento box.

I have been going to this place for 4+ years and the quality of food has continually declined. On more than occasion, I have ordered a nigiri selection, which can be 7 or 14 - this last visit, the nigiri was all salmon and tuna. In the past, it was a variety. The chef would not correct it. My least favourite fish are tuna and salmon. To end the meal, there was a hair in my lunch.

Está claro que tienen más clientes pidiendo online que los que caben en las mesas y por tanto están más pendientes de los repartidores que de los clientes que tienen en el local. A pesar de que la noche era muy fría, se pasó la puerta constantemente abierta, y aunque había un calefactor cerca, no disfrutamos en toda la cena. A pesar de todo, tengo que decir que la calidad del pescado era muy buena, no tanto el arroz usado para hacer los roll de sushi. Si volviera a ir, pediría una mesa junto a la cocina, o lo más interior posible, y probaría el sashimi.
