Possibly the best Ramen outside Japan ..

A great evening celebrating our daughter, Isabella's 17th birthday. As always the food was sensational but what made it was the service we received from Joao. We had a friend join us, who was new to Sticks and Joao did his absolute best to accommodate her needs. He regularly checked if we were ok and everything was good. Wow! We all left very impressed. Sticks you have a very valuable member of your team and we hope to be served by Joao again. Thank you for making our daughters birthday great!

OK Japanese restaurant, firstly it's cash only, not sure if it's always been like this or it's a temporary situation but it's weird they have this restriction. It's nicely decorated inside and they have some native Japanese staff working there. The menu is varied, they do ramen, bento boxes, bbq, etc.. Ramen is OK, it's not Japanese standard but no where is outside of Japan in my opinion. It's better than shoryu, I feels it's better then ramen culture. The Tonkotsu ramen was OK, the noodles were medium thickness, not hakata style thin noodles. They were firm and chewy, soup was creamy but lacked depth. Bamboo was OK, egg was Ok in texture, but the yolk wasn't slightly runny which is how I like it, and it lacked flavour. The chashu was OK, it was seared to make it crispy, at least it was thin cut unlike ramen culture where it was too thick. The spicy duck ramen was not as good as Tonkotsu ramen, the duck was roast duck but it was sliced like Cantonese roast duck but it lacked flavour, but was not dry or chewy. The spiciness comes from the chilli sauce condiment that you can find on the table, it's not too spicy but it's nothing special. The good thing is that the food is served quickly, not like shoyu where it feels like they're ubering the food from another restaurant.

One of the best places to eat Japanese food.

Taberu was closed so decided to give this sushi place a try! An absolute hidden gem this is by far my most favourite sushi store in oxford, flavours are great salmon and avacado is definitely fresher than tabarus and it is more authentic compared to tabura as the rice is literal sushi rice. Whereas taberu has small portions made really unathetically tasting like a fake japanese sushi. Absolutely recommend every penny worth it in sushi corner! Customer service is very great too!

Pedido, entre otras cosas, plato de pollo. La carne estaba cruda y fría. He estado aquí de vez en cuando durante años y todavía lo disfruto. Los precios son justos y tiene un menú agradable. Hay que decir que ahora es extremadamente concurrido y muy conocido ; supongamos también porque Oxford se ha convertido en un lugar extorsivo para visitar y muy caro para comer. En Edamame se puede obtener comida sana que no es de ninguna manera elegante a precios justos. Sí, está lleno de gente y sí, puede que tenga que compartir una mesa con 4-6 personas, pero así es como es. Si no te gusta esa forma de comer, entonces tal vez no te quejes más tarde de la falta de espacio en una reseña que ciertamente no es justo. Una cosa que he notado es mi plato favorito en el menú del almuerzo, que son los fideos ahora utiliza un fideo instantáneo de estilo casi chino que no es muy agradable. En su día, los fideos eran fideos de estilo japonés más sustanciales, a los que desearía que volvieran a ser auténticos.

Unfortunately had a really poor experience here. Staff weren’t friendly whatsoever, you get charged more by approximately £1 per item for eating in?? Despite not being given any different service whatsoever than if you were to take it away? School dinner type trays, take-away unnecessary plastic packing. You have to pay extra for soy sauce and wasabi…dirty tables, seats all stained with soy sauce, toilets dirty. Certainly won’t be returning here nor any other Wasabi for that matter.

The store's website said they had discounts, but the store clerk told me without any explanation that they didn't offer discounts, which made me feel uncomfortable. Presentation: 2/5 Taste: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Value: 1/5 Overall: 1.5 Poorly executed franchise with staff who are aware website offers promotions withdrawn several months ago yet don’t raise to management, rather insinuate the website and customer are wrong. Totally obsolete customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

One star because I can't put 0. Microwave food, not even the good quality one. Extremely bad flavor.
