The food was spot on and it really felt like an izakaya. The unusual chicken skewers which are typical in Japan were cool and the extensive beer and whiskey menu was good to browse; our highlight was probably the Korean cucumber. However, I can’t tell if the sticky door that kept letting a draft in added charm or would be a five minute fix that would improve the experience.

One of the best places I have eaten in a while, been here twice now the suishi is great and the tapas style food is delicious so much so I don't have any photos of them as I was too busy tucking in. we went as 3 and picked a few dishes to share, at the time they had a festive mulled wine which was a delight. Picked a few things from the conveyer belt too! We booked in advance and it seems like that would be advisable as it is very popular but there where empty tables which where free. I highly recommend a visit!

Went for a lovely birthday meal with my partner, and it was great. The staff were friendly, the sushi was fresh and delicious. For dessert we had tiramisu and black sesame ice cream, and both were really good. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good Japanese food.

Having just returned from Holiday & in no mood to cook, we ordered Noo Noodles through a food delivery app. Food arrived very quickly & my vegetable & tofu noodles were absolutely delicious. Real no frills food - but so tasty & so filling.

I usually have a 'you have to try everything twice rule'. Unfortunately, I will not be applying this here. This was the first and only time I would come here. Firstly, we had the, all you can eat, so the menu was different (maybe the a la carte is better). I enjoyed the process of scanning the QR and selecting 6 hot dishes and 6 sushi dishes every 15 minutes for your 90-minute duration. The seaweed was the chewiest I've been served, the children peeled it off. The hot dishes were better, but the kimchi rice was stodgy and lacked any flavour. The sashimi was also low quality cuts. If the food is poor at a restaurant, it doesn't really matter about the other notable items. However, in this case, it was also incredibly tired. There was stock, extra chairs, and tables piled on the restaurant floor. The toliets were no better. There were sections of units missing and it had exposed pipework. As you can see in the video, there were also small flies that were there the entire time, even after removing a few. Overall, it wasn't worth the £100+ bill for two dry adults, one child and a baby.

For my visit I was served by an unsmiling unhelpful member of staff. I could live with that but my problem was the food. I got a few different meals to take away. Both meals contained sushi rice. Both were completely devoid of flavour. Absolutely none. I have enjoyed both meals often in Eastbourne, who get 5 stars every time I go. I must leave them a positive one actually!
