Sushi mania is always my go to. Really good value for money and the food is delicious. I would avoid it during busy times as the service considerably slows down (expected) but also the food quality lowers. But overall still one of my regular places 🧡

A disappointing visit, we had buffet £26.80 per person. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the sushi. The rice wasnt well compacted,fell apart,seaweed v chewy and salmon lacked flavour. Be careful not to order too many big rolls,you will find it hard to finish as they are bigger in size. The hot food was generally better. We didnt enjoy prawn tempura,was more batter than prawn and you could tell the meat in char sui/beef skewers were low quality. Interior is very dark,worn furniture, the place feels tired. We had a lovely young server who was friendly. I felt I had wasted £60 on lunch, wished I went elsewhere. Would not recommend and will not return.

I had an amazing experience at Sushimania while celebrating a birthday! The variety on the menu was impressive, offering so many delicious options for sushi lovers. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared, with the nigiri and sashimi being absolute standouts. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. From the ambiance to the quality of the food and service, everything exceeded our expectations. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Slow service. Didn't serve us sushi even tho every other table got served but us. It's called sushi Manea ?? When we complained they made us look like we were the problem and said they served us all the dishes they were meant to even tho they didn't. By the 3rd time complaining all the waiters and the chef came out to argue there point even tho it was clear they didn't serve us. Can not believe they speak to people like this do not go to this restaurant. We will not be returning it ruined my mother's birthday.

My experience was great, both the pleasant atmosphere and the food was very good and it was fresh, I arrived at the restaurant it was empty but we were still very well received, we had difficulty using the online menu but the guy was very kind , I saw the reviews before going and realized that they complained about the service and never the food, I went to try it myself and honestly I really liked it, the guy at the end even talked to us and everyone was super friendly.

The sushi bites are HUGE, it is very hard to get the entire bite in your mouth as you're supposed to eat it. Some of them are very tasty, but most of them are just normal. I feel the place is very dark, tho. It was good service and very quick, or maybe because it was just me in the place.

We went on father's day. The food was terrible ! Most of the sushi were flooded with sauce and fried onions. Tempura is not proper tempura jut deep fried like Chinese food. Not authentic Japanese food at all. The service was even worst, had to ask for water for several times. When asked for service the waitress just looked at me and walked pass. Not enough waiter/waitress. I don't think we will go back again.

The restaurant is a bit weird, while they have several options like unlimited sushi and so on, they have so many additional rules which they write separately so be aware when ordering. The waiter charged us a wrong amount so we had to wait more for them to refund us.

Check the menu before you go - there are rules to how much you can order at a time but to be honest the portions are generous and outlet first selection of 6 dishes covered the cost of the bill. We ended up with 13 dishes between 2 of us and had a to take some home. Be prepared, if you have leftovers you pay £5 for each box you take away with you. It was well worth it as that box contained 2 whole dishes which did us for lunch the next day.

Visited for a birthday. Favourite place to celebrate. Great food and attentive friendly service. Some had all you can eat and others ate a la carte, which was all half price. Really made the evening special. Even gave my son an extra dessert with a candle and came out singing.

So bad, ‘chicken breast’ domburi was a birdseye fried chargrill reconstructed chicken breast which was Luke warm. The yasai tempura was 60% aubergine. No sparking wine by the glass. Lights up full blast and no atmosphere. Presumed I hadn’t eaten the cuisine before and suggest I download an app to look at pictures to help me?! The domburi was garnished with a whole cherry tomato and bloody kos lettuce?! I wanted to like this place but now understand why they have to run offers all the time.

There's a lot of choice of hot and cold foods on the menu. We loved the spicy dragon rolls and the soft shell crab, which were beautifully done. We also enjoyed the beef skewers, which were medium rare and juicy in the middle, and the fried tempura sushi was interesting to try.

Food and service were both excellent. I always enjoy coming to Sushimania. One small thing I do find annoying is that a gratuity charge is added automatically to the bill without asking. If that's how much you're going to charge, please just include it in the listed price, and pay your staff a higher wage. Tips should always be the diner's prerogative.

Sushi was good. Sashimi was a little tired and I wish I mentioned something. I had the al a cart half price menu… I’m curious what the full price menu is, as I feel it’s none existent - they simply offer the half price menu but I don’t see how more expensive it could get - would they charge £6… for 3 pieces of sashimi? Maybe… £6 for 2 unagi sushi?…. My bill for myself was 54.14… I mentioned my surprise to the staff and that I should have gotten the all you can eat menu. They staff found that rather funny and laughed at me… The al La cart options aren’t very different from the all you can eat - just some signature rolls which are nice but not worth the price in my opinion. My whole order could be found on the all you can eat minus a signature roll and a flying fish roe… I enjoy the flavours but the service is subpar especially when reflecting the auto gratuity. As someone who works in the industry and has run restaurants in a few countries I wasn’t impressed. Please do have your servers change their gloves too… as they are very off putting…. Especially, when grabbing at a plate you are still using. I will be back as it is the best/only all you can eat sushi sit down in Brighton but I will not be ordering from the al a cart or recommending it… Also, a word of advice to the owners. Accept this criticism and do not respond with bitterness nor condescension as was done in the other poor ratings. Learn, teach your team and move forward. I will be back to enjoy what you have to offer but there is always room for improvement.

Awful customer service. Completely rude after I told them to cancel the order. Blaming it all on me and telling me I’m blacklisted from their smelly shop. Will never even be coming back here. Women was shouting at me after I said I would like to cancel the order. They tried forcing me to pay as they prepared the food already without me paying yet. After I told them to cancel they tried forcing me to pay a ridiculous price for something smaller than my hand. I do not recommend this place at all unless you would like to have a massive argument with a rude and disrespectful employee.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. We came for our kids' 18th birthday, and they went out of their way to make it special for him. Complimentary birthday dessert with candles, birthday beer, excellent service. The food was delicious, and amazingly good value. It didn't have as many stars on google as other Brighton sushi restaurants, so I was torn for choice, but this was perfect, very affordable, and I'm so glad we came here. All you can eat for around £25, it's fresh and healthy and delicious. Highly recommend. The waiter or Manager Fae/Fay was incredible and a big part of what made the place so special.

The manager is aged with the new order system that led to miscommunication and helpless. System order online is a mess, very confusing, and no staffs show us the guideline to order. We sat down and ordered our food, the manager came and said it was wrong menu, but he cant sort out anything, just kelpt talking talking nonsense. We were very disappointed, fuss and left the restaurant straight away without eating any food. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushimania in Brighton, an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, and I must say that it was an amazing experience. The restaurant charged a flat rate of £28 per person, which is very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. The service at Sushimania was exceptional. Our waitress, Rebecca, was very fast and friendly. She was attentive to our needs and made sure that our glasses were always filled with water and drinks. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent recommendations. The restaurant was not busy on the afternoon we went, so we were seated quickly and comfortably. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. It was a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious food. Now, let's talk about the food! We ordered a variety of dishes, including tuna rolls, fried chicken, seaweed salad, kimchi, salmon sashimi, and red wine and beer. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we were able to order as much as we wanted. The sushi rolls were especially tasty, with the rice cooked to perfection and the fish incredibly fresh. We were so impressed with the food that we decided to order more. The menu had a great selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other dishes to choose from, so we were spoilt for choice. We also loved the fact that we could order drinks with our meal, including red wine and beer, which added to the overall experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Sushimania in Brighton to anyone who loves sushi. The food is excellent, the service is fast and friendly, and the overall experience is outstanding. Almost £25 per person for their so-called bottomless, all you can eat menu with hardly much options available,, some food are limited by qty, ie salmon sashimi and eel sushi, for the price I’d expect no limitations and better quality food choices. Salmon was not fresh, each sushi had excessive amount of rice to fill you up, so you can order less. They also forced customer to pay the 10% optional service charge which is out of order, the bill came to £54.12, and the waiter rounded it up to £55! I wouldn’t mind paying extras for tips as well as service charge if the service and food choices were good, but not when it was already at a massively inflated prices with substandard quality of food and limited food choice, for reference they used to be about £15 per person.

Absolutely unbelievable Sushimania Salad. It consists of Salad Leaves, 1 piece of cucumber, one tomato and some edame beans. For £8.80! Please don't buy here and spend your hard earned money! Terrible customer service too.

We went for a bottomless lunch and it was fun. I wasn’t expecting the food quality to be the best, nor the customer service. The waiting staff were nice although one of them seemed a bit clueless and not that friendly. Tbh the main reason I've given 2 stars is because the guy making the food by the conveyer belt and was so rude. I asked for a dish that I hadn’t seen on the belt but was suppose to be included. So the waitress went to ask him and then he came over and chucked a random dish at us, muttered something then walked off. When he realised it was the wrong dish he said it’ll take 5 mins but proceeded to give us the wrong one again. The miscommunication isn’t the issue for me because it happens and as long as your nice it’s no problem for me. But he was not nice at all. I don’t know why you work in customer service if you seem so bothered for having to interact with customers. We came out to yo sushi having only one day off to receive that attitude towards us for no reason other than asking for a dish. Really strange and uncalled for. There was a lovely girl that chatted to us at the end though so we tipped her personally.

I've been coming to Tonkotsu for some years now, both London and Brighton. The quality and flavours have never changed, love them completely. My main problem is with the ramen portions, they used to be HUGE. And yes, it was difficult to finish them and yei for no more food waste, but the prices didn't go down with the portions. That has bugged me ever since. Even so, love the food, nice atmosphere and always great service. I still go there so, yeah, love them.

Just too unreliable to recommend. I've had a couple of decent, reasonably priced meals here but, more often than not, have had to wait nearly an hour from ordering for my food to arrive. When it finally comes, it's often been bland and unappetising. The fact that the floors, tables and most surfaces are covered in a rather unpleasant sticky substance does not help matters. Despite wanting for it to improve, I'm giving up on this place. There are so many better, more authentic restaurants, serving decent Japanese and Korean style food, in Brighton.

Moshimo was lovely. We went as a huge 20-person group, and the staff accommodated that amazingly. I tried the sea-bass ceviche, which was only okay to me, it kind of tasted like cockles, like to the T, which wasn't awful and it was definitely fresh but not my cup of tea. However, a friend and I shared a £40 sushi boat, which more than made up for the mediocre ceviche. It was absolutely delicious, fresh, and looked beautiful. I was super full after sharing the sushi boat and the starter. It was an expensive meal if you're on a budget, definitely a once a month thing for me, but it was really enjoyable!
