The best restaurants serving Italian food in Cardiff South Wales

Food was lovely. Exceeded my expectations by miles. Highly recommend the chicken kufta kebab. That made my day. Just to get that delivered in 15 mins made it even better. The taste and flavour was certainly exquisite. I had politely asked for a different hot drink that not many places serve which was the white hot chocolate but they made an exception and the drink was definitely better than what you would taste at your average cafe. The birthday cake for my mum really brightened the smile on her face. Definitely will be seeing more of this place. Deli Fuego is a must👍🏾

Lovely place! I’ve been here a few times now & the staff are so friendly, the food is great, and the place is very clean. A great spot to eat at if you are going to the New Theatre.

Tuvimos una maravillosa experiencia general aquí. La comida era interesante y muy bien cocinado. Fue una buena relación calidad-precio para el menú de almuerzo. Está un poco fuera del camino por una calle lateral. Las mesas están muy bien presentadas con rosas frescas. El refrigerador de vino era eficaz y diferente. El vino era muy agradable, pero quizás un poco caro. El servicio fue excelente. ¡Gracias!

Really delicious food, loads of vegetarian options and delicious wines. Really well priced for the quality of the food and varied flavours! Second time we’ve been and it’s better than the first!

Brilliant experience at Scaramantica. *Excellent* service, very tasty food, speedy arrival of meals/drinks. Reasonable price points for the quality of the food. Classic but extensive menu, good variety for vegetarian diners. Will be back soon 👌🏻

We often go to Coco Gelato when in Cardiff as there is always a wide selection of ice cream, and the ice cream really tastes like the flavour its supposed to be! They also do fresh crepes. It's usually fairly busy but when we went there was hardly a seat available!! Well worth a visit!

A friend and I resently went for a meal before seeing a musical. From the outset, the staff were not friendly, wasn't greeted with a 'hello' and generally miserable throughout. Even another couple in an opposite table were saying the same. We didn't stay for desert/coffee, instead we left and went to another restaurant! We didn't have a goodbye, thank you or any acknowledgement leaving.Will not be visiting again. Cheer up staff!!!

Great Italian food and friendly staff!

Had a great time at this Italian restaurant with a friend! The pizza was absolutely delicious, the drinks were spot on, and our server was so sweet and attentive. Definitely a place I’d visit again!

Had a pizzetta at the caldicot castle food festival. The pizza was burnt and so couldn't taste anything apart from bitterness of the dough. The tomato sauce lacked salt and pepper. £12.50 for a tiny burnt pizza with half a slice of ham is ridiculous.

Let's say worse ever not because of the restaurant chain but the staff So I was in Cardiff for my birthday in Dec and booked dinner at prezzo with family .the location of the prezzi is on first floor inside the shopping mall ..well maps don't show that in detail so we spend good 15 mins looking for the place and got delayed for booking time..anyhow huffing puffing we reached and this indian/ Pakistani girl on duty said the booking is now cancelled coz we were late despite explaining the situation and requesting her all she had some audacity to tell me 'sorry sweety,' not only she ruined my day her approach wax v unprofessional and she did not care about thd restaurant of customer but was clearly eyeing a early close .I am v frequent to prezzo Leicester and luv the food and the team ..but this was v disappointing

5 Stars – Our Local Favourite! We come to Cicchetti in Radyr very often as we live locally, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff are absolutely spot on: friendly, quick, and always make us feel welcome. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We’re lucky to have such a fantastic place right on our doorstep! Thank you very much! 💝
