The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scotland

Great italian restaurant on Pollokshaws rd. close to shawlands cross. Pastas were excellent. Pizza was nice but a little burnt round the crust which had to be cut off and discarded. Excellent Cappuccino coffee Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely to see people sitting outside in a pavement cafe atmosphere. 17° in mid April in Scotland.🤗

Typical Glasgow Italian on the edge of the west end at Charing Cross. Expensive for the lasagne- small portion and no sides etc. £16.50. Other dishes also high priced but small portions would be the general comment. There are better Italians in Glasgow.

Lovely fresh food good portions& value for money lunch deals.

Perfect Italian dinner experience. Took a date here last week, and everything was just as you'd want. Great service before and during the visit, very nice food, cosy atmosphere, and in such a convenient location. Highly recommend!

Now called Mamma Mia was quiet as we were there at 5pm on a Thurs night but still had a few tables in food was fabulous and service was amazing

Absolutely gorgeous food with deserts to die for. All staff made us feel so welcome. To miss a meal here is a mistake you will always regret.

Ordered 2 pizzas and both were everything you would want in a pizza absolutely class, chippy were also no bad,

3 pizzas tonight, each one was great , even managed my "half the usual cheese" request which most places ignore. Super Tasty thanks very much lads.

I got the Parma sandwich, I was quite underwhelmed. The prosciutto was quite pooey. Not worth the money.

First timing going very nice chicken dish.

Absolutely fantastic food , service , drinks , staff switched on , had the Chicken Alla Milanese , WOW 😮 What a piece of chicken that was😳😳😳great spaghetti also , Marie had the chicken pesto , couldn’t fault it , glad we went on the Friday as the Saturday was fully booked , says it all , great wee restaurant 👏👏👏

Can’t fault waitress/front of house staff but food? Ordered same starters mains we regularly enjoy In Edinburgh but starters black pudding received cold, duck pate sloppy and grainy. Then main lasagne devoid of any mince and chicken not great. Not a patch on Edinburgh experience and won’t be back to Glasgow restaurant.
