Food absolutely fantastic! The best restaurant in Edinburgh. The taste of the food here beats Mario Batali's Lupa in NYC and Robert DeNiro's Locanda Verde. I had a Montepulciano wine for 20 bucks and it was great. We had focaccia bread and minestrone soup to start and lasagna, veal milanese, funghi risotto, garlic spinach and rum soaked beignets as mains and dessert. Highly recommend it!!

A hidden Gem in Edinburgh! It was the best meal we had here in a week. It was the best tasting, less crowded and less expensive. Don’t go, so we can save this place for ourselves!

We're looking for dinner after long day trip to Edinburgh. Food is quite below expectations, not most welcoming service.

We have ate in this little restaurant many times over the years and have never been disappointed. Both the food and service is superb. It is not cheap but is excellent value.

Small 20 seater restaurant that managed to fit me in, travelling solo on a business trip. Service was really friendly. The starter (scallops) and main course I had (veal) were both amazing. Will definitely come back here with my partner. Recommended!

We went there for a spontaneous dinner. Surprisingly they don't offer any pizza but their pasta is really delicous. Especially the ones with salmon were delightful! The menu is quite small (just 2 pages) and in general the place is rather small (there are around 7-10 tables). It's a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

I just love La Bruschetta. Typical top quality Italian, with a Scottish twist. The West Coast Langoustines are heavenyl!

Excellent! Every dish was absolutely spectacular! The wine was equally delicious. The staff was wonderful with their never ending drive to be attentive. We were so happy to have a table side visit from the chef himself as we dined on his most outstanding pasta and veal dishes. Run don’t walk to this fine neighborhood establishment.

Cosy restaurant, very busy on a weeknight. Food was good but overall, a bit pricey. Established clientele, and we saw some celebrating and clearly known to staff. Best reserve seats ahead. We were lucky to get a place.

This is truly the best Italian restaurant in Edinburgh. The food, wine, service and ambience are always first class. Giovanni and his staff make us feel welcome every time.

I had passed La Bruschetta many times as I live in the area but never thought to eat there. Until last night - and I was very pleasantly delighted. What a wee cracker of a true Italian. The Dover Sole and Veal T Bone were excellent as were the starters and desserts. The recommended wine was also a treat. So impressed we’ve booked for next week.

We went here for a work dinner, not being from Edinburgh I booked this online based on the reviews. It does look very romantic from the outside as it's quite small, about 9 tables. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding and really happy we found it. Everyone enjoyed their food; a good choice of wines and the gentleman serving us were so warm and friendly. We visited on a Thursday evening as a group of 6 and we were really looked after

We just happened along this quaint little restaurant on our way to the airport to head home to Canada from a Fantastic Holiday roaming around Scotland. Great food and atmosphere.

Chose this restaurant in the Haymarket area as it was close to our Airbnb and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The food was absolutely delicious also the wine and champagne. It was a small, intimate place and the real deal Italian food. My friends and I shared some focaccia (crispy, light and delicious!) and some bruschetta with Parma ham, Parmesan shavings and rocket. For my main, I chose a lobster pasta and a creme brûlée which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this little restaurant and will definitely be back for another meal on my next visit to Edinburgh!

I went for dinner with family. Very nice and cosy restaurant. The staff were welcoming and the service excellent. Best fettuccine al salmone I ever eated, and the agnolotti all'aragosta was simply delicious.

Absolutely phenomenal food. We haven't had pasta this good in far too long. We had starters too but we didn't think about photos till after it was demolished! A little gutted we don't live anywhere near otherwise we would be firm regulars bur we shall definitely be visiting next time we come to Edinburgh.

Legitimately the best salmon in parsley sauce I've ever had the pleasure of eating and with great service. The starters of the special menu being calamari, was delicious and fresh in a light batter, the mains to die for was a creamy parsley sauce with a warm kick of chili, topped with a generous amount of Scottish smoked salmon and ended with deserts to help send you off too heaven. Lovely place, my only regret is I do not live in Edinburgh to eat here more often.

We went there for a late lunch. The place is cozy and charming. The waiter had warmed up to us during the service. We ordered bruschetta to start. The main courses were lasagna, veal and smoked salmon pasta. The lasagna and veal were fine, but pasta was very fishy and salty. The wine was excellent. We never got our water refilled. I would go back for the great ambiance.

A little bit of Italy in Edinburgh! The food here was delicious and authentic. Simple and delicious flavour and texture combinations for the starter. The main was well cooked and tasty and I couldn't resist the special coffee panna cotta and was not disappointed. Beautifully set just like it should be. We loved this intimate Italian restaurant. The service was prompt and attentive. The food (I had the fixed menu and my wife ordered a la carte) was superb. And the wine list was ample. Would go back tomorrow in a heartbeat.

It is a small restaurant close the the Haymarket tram. The food is good, but smallish portions and quite highly priced.

Always busy , always a great meal. Been about 5 or 6 times and it is consistently good and two gents out front are rather good at what they do! Small is good here and handiness for bus and train a big bonus.
