Best Italian food I've ever had. The servers were super friendly and attentive, Manu took great care of us and was never far to order something extra or grab the bill for us. The food was served quickly, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The portion size was just right and I had to order a side of garlic bread to soak up the sauce of my Rigatoni smoked salmon and broccoli, I didnt want to waste any of it! Given the restaurant is central to the city and the food was so good, I was surprised at how reasonably priced everything was too, exceptional value for money. Definitely recommend this as a must visit for any tourist or local!

The best place to eat in Edinburgh! A real Italian experience with the best food and the best staff! Our waiter was Valerio who is the best that has ever served me! Ask for him even though everybody was perfect!

OMG the mussels may have been the best mussels I've ever tasted. The crust on the pizza wasn't so good. The overall taste of the food was five stars. The service was amazing, everyone came by to help our table. Everything was 5 stars except the pizza crust it was like a crusty dry cardboard tasting crust. I did not like the crust much at all

Nice location and friendly staff. Our waitress Tanya was very kind. However, I was totally stupified by the automatically added tip of 10%. I thought we were n Edinburgh, Scotland and not in the USA. I always like to tip and will do so according to service. That can sometimes add up to more than 10%. This time it felt rude. In the end I did tip but as I wanted to.

Bad aftertaste I recently visited this restaurant with my grown-up kids to celebrate our reunion. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant evening turned into a disappointing experience. Our waiter was very friendly—though in a way that felt a little overdone, as if assuming a level of familiarity we hadn’t established—while another staff member, possibly the manager, was quite the opposite and seemed rather unwelcoming. Since I’m mindful of my diet for health reasons, I ordered only two side dishes, each priced at nearly £6. However, when the food arrived, the waiter brought an additional dish of potatoes that I hadn’t ordered, smiling and insisting it was "on the house." Wanting to be polite and not waste food, I accepted and ate most of the dish, even though no one at our table really wanted them, and I ended up feeling overly full afterward. The worst part? When the bill arrived, they had charged me for the "free" potatoes. In the end, I paid more than my husband, who had a full pasta dish. This felt dishonest and misleading. While we didn’t want to cause a scene at the moment, we left feeling taken advantage of. We certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

We’ve been coming to Vittoria on the Bridge for years and it’s always a great experience. Tonight was no exception and Ozzy provided great, friendly, service.

We had dinner there tonight. The whole experience was amazing. The staff was unreal, we were there with our 1yo baby and they were super friendly and patient. He took ages to eat his dinner and we never felt rushed. The food was delicious, the place is beautifully decorated and there is a family feeling that makes everyone feel welcome. Grazie Mille!

Better meal than expected. Excellent pizza and traditional carbonara pasta. We expected less and are therefore positively surprised

We arrived and were asked to wait 5-10 minutes at the bar. Then, the bartender took our cocktail orders. He was extremely unpleasant, condescending, and even slammed my cocktail onto the counter. Later, we found out that we would have to eat at the counter. However, there were available tables, as people who arrived after us were seated right away. Fortunately, we managed to get a table. The waitress was very friendly, but the service was way too fast. We barely had time to read the menu before they came to take our order. Between the starter and the main course, we had no time to breathe before they were already preparing to serve the next dish. Lastly, the food was not impressive… it was disappointing. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent! There was a mix up with boxing up our leftover meal, and it was thrown away in error. Samuele couldn't have been more apologetic, and had a full pizza cooked for us to take home. He went above and beyond!

We booked Vittoria on the Bridge in Feb25. This was our first visit to the restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant looked really good and clean. The service from Samuele was first class and the food was well priced and excellent flavour. If you are looking for an Italian in Edinburgh then you can’t go wrong. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was restaurant is 5 stars

Chose Vittoria on the Bridge for a meal to celebrate my husband's 40th Birthday while visiting Edinburgh and it did not disappoint...the food was delicious, the service was prompt, our server Samuele was excellent and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening and will certainly visit again if we return to Edinburgh.

The food was absolutely amazing, the amount of amazing options to chose from were fantastic. Our server Cristofer was funny, kind, and very helpful. He was always around for anything we needed.

We had the most beautiful meal for a family of 4. Childrens options were top quality and we loved the half and half option from the main course menu. Deserts were fresh and the ice cream for the kids was delicious.

Bit disappointed. Attentive at start, main and drinks speedy and tasty but thry forgot about us after we ordered sweet. Never came, nor did the apology. My wife nailed it 'wasn't busy and too many staff chatting to one another and not paying attention' Always been a fan hopefully just a lunchtime blip

Vittorias is one of our favourite restaurants in Edinburgh to go for dinner. The experience dining there is always good. Everyone working there are always very friendly and service is amazing, our most recent visit was on Valentine’s Day where we were served by Mirko and thanks to him and everyone else it was a lovely evening from start to finish! The food has been delicious every time we go so we continue to return as you always know what you are getting which is great good and experience!

What a fantastic family-run restaurant! We were greeted upon arrival by what I presume were brothers, who were very friendly and helped us to a table. They had a great selection of food on the menu, with lots of great Italian meals as well as the odd British classic to keep everyone happy. I had the meatballs to start which were absolutely fantastic - I thoroughly recommend these. My partner had the chicken pate which she enjoyed very much, especially the tomato chutney this was served with. For main I had the Braceria pizza, I asked to swap the base from BBQ to tomato and they were fine to do so with no problems. My partner had the carbonara originale which she said was brilliant, I of course tried it and can agree - a great depth of flavour! The service was overall wonderful, very friendly and speedy…very speedy. This didn’t affect us at all as we didn’t feel rushed at any point, but our starters came out about 5 minutes after we ordered them. This had me questioning the freshness a little, but the taste put these worries to bed as I enjoyed my starter greatly. Great value, great food, great experience! Very happy to read about this family business still going strong through generations.

So happy we found this place, just sad we found it on our last night! Food and service was second to none. Every member of staff we dealt with was lovely. The food was delicious. My sister and I both had 3 courses, 2 drinks and I had a coffee, all a la carte, and it was less than 70 euro. Good food, good staff, good price. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
