GLUTEN FREE/CELIACS this is the restaurant for you! The menu doesn’t specify that they have gluten free options, but don’t be fooled! Best meal we’ve had in our 2 weeks in Scotland!

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst staying in Edinburgh for a few days. They accommodated us despite being very busy on a sunny Sunday evening and the service was second to none. Such tasty food too. Wouldn't hesitate to return 😊

Top notch service and food convenient to the sites around Old Town Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our experience here.

The lasagna was absolutely fantastic! Really worth trying it. What pulls it down is the staff's attitude, they wanted us out of the room quickly to get new guests.

I visited Vittoria on the bridge and the staff were unfriendly. They did not seem to communicate with each other regarding seating or orders and made us feel really awkward. The food was fine but overall the staff need better attitudes. Also incredibly expensive

Decent lunch spot in a touristy area.

Had Gelato at the window, was so good. Almost all flavors are GF, most are Dairy Free!

The food was fantastic, there carbonara could have used a little garlic tho. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. The calamari, and the lemon meringue dessert was on point.

Amazing place. Went here twice over the span of a few days - once with a group of that was 3 children, 1 teen, and me (I was 20), once with a group of 10 people (including children). Both can be difficult groups to deal with, but we were served impeccably. The restaurant was clearly busy, yet our food came out surprisingly fast both times. Staff are attentive and super coordinated. Would recommend getting a bread as a starter (I think we did the focaccia and the garlic bread?). Food and drinks were delicious, easily some of the best I had in Scotland. I'm vegan and a couple people in our party were both dairy and gluten free - allergens are well-labeled on the menu and we all had great options available to us, pretty sure they said can make anything gluten-free. First time I went I felt a strange, overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude rise up in me after eating (and no, I hadn't been starving beforehand!). Huge props to everyone keeping the place running. Wish I could go back! (summer 2024)

The food were very delicious. There is a nice thing that they decide the food to the plates for sharing.

We arrived really close to closing, the staff was lovely, brought out all our dishes really fast. Beautiful, tasty dishes, great service, reasonable prices.

Fantastic service from Cecilia at Vittoria ❤️ Spaghetti Meatballs and Pizza. The sauce was unreal! Pizza was to die for and Cecilia was the icing in the cake, thank you! Opt for the Half and Half!

Really busy rather large italian-type eatery. Glad we went, unlikely to ever return - plenty of more accessible and attractive options in other parts of the city. Possibly useful if you are visiting the wonderful Scottish National Museum that is diagonally across the road.

I was served by Mirko, and the service was absolutely excellent! I highly recommend this place everything from the food to the staff was top-notch. A special shoutout to Mirko for being such a great server. I especially loved the roasted chicken breast with mushrooms it was delicious!

We were on a group trip, two of us italians, and we had an amazing dinner. Never had so high quality italian plates out of Italy. The welcome was perfect, the service accurate (never so perfect in Scotland) and precise. Bruschetta and mussels amazing, Rigatoni with prawns and courgettes absolute perfection so delicious! My swiss friend enjoyed the original carbonara, wouldn't recommend it for italians but outside Rome who would? The desserts were absolute the peak. The price was absolute right, for the quality we found not to expensive. Ps. Some of the waiters are from Italy, we felt like home. Totally recommend!

Very pushy and unprofessional service, mediocre pricey food. We went for dinner and unfortunately did not have a good time. Within 10 minutes of sitting down we were approached by three different waiters. Two asked if we wanted water and the other came immediately asking if we had made a choice even though we were all still very clearly reading the menu. He then came only a few minutes later and asked again. After a few minutes another waiter came and asked a third time if we wanted to order. We were constantly being watched by the waiters and the host. The waiters ran by our table constantly (on patrol, not to serve). Oddly enough no one ever asked if the food was okay. It was edible but not very good. Definitely overpriced for the quality you get. The olives were bland, my pasta siciliana had huge garlic chunks in it but was fine otherwise. It was also on our table literally 5 mins after we ordered. The restaurant is very loud so if you want to have a good and relaxed dining experience, certainly don’t go here. If you need something really fast that’s not mcdonalds, this is more appropriate. All in all we were really disappointed and asked for the service charge to be taken off. The waiter then asked if we were not happy and we explained. He then asked where we were from and left without saying anything.

Tanya was exceptional. We loved her, she was so fun and complimented our group so well! Could not have asked for more.

We booked our reservation online which was a breeze. Our server, Mirko, was pleasant & wonderful. There were 4 of us & all of our meals were seriously delish!! My hubby & I had the "Half & Half... Rigatoni Chicken & Pesto AND the Burrata Pizza. Our friends had a Lasagna Di Mamma AND the Scialatielli Pasta Onde delVesuvio. For dessert, we had the Affogato Vittoria AND the PIstachio Cheesecake. Highly recommend this place.

Overall nice place. The food was fine, risotto was very salty, pasta was on the contrary a bit unsalted and even flavourless.

We were sight seeing in the area and found the restaurant by chance when looking for somewhere suitable for gluten intolerance. The staff were welcoming, even though we had not booked it was not an issue. the food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Our waiter Roy noticed that we had a birthday celebration and made it extra special with cup cakes and singing. All of the staff Roy, Ali, Samuel and the chefs made our visit one to remember. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time this past weekend at Vittoria on the Bridge. We’re from the USA but always stop in whenever we’re in Edinburgh. Great food, great atmosphere and our waiter Valerio provided terrific service. He was friendly and knowledgeable and added to a great meal with friends.

This is possibly the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Arrived here today and asked if they could fit us in and they could buy we had an hour as they were fully booked. We ordered gluten free pizzas. Gluten free can often be difficult to get right however this was perfect. The flavour was amazing and the texture was like gluten pizza. Every member of staff that we interacted with was so warm, welcoming and smiley. Special thanks to Roy, Ali and Samuele. As we had birthday badges on, we was surprised with a lovely cupcake each and a beautifully sang round of happy birthday with hugs and photos. Would return over again and highly recommend.

A bust Italian restaurant with a good vegetarian choice. Food was excellent and sensibly priced. Staff were very attentive and Mirko and Martina served us on the 2 visits and were excellent. Seemed to be frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Would recommend to vegetarians - good menu choice.
