A bust Italian restaurant with a good vegetarian choice. Food was excellent and sensibly priced. Staff were very attentive and Mirko and Martina served us on the 2 visits and were excellent. Seemed to be frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Would recommend to vegetarians - good menu choice.

This is a lovely family restaurant. Our little baby boy, Alex, was made very welcome by all the staff. And Tanya, our waitress, was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend this to people looking for a good place to take their family.

The food was okay, but nothing more, the wine (a Montepulciano) doesn't deserve the name. But the most annoying thing was that they wanted to sit us at a small cat table right next to the kitchen and toilet, even though there were other tables available. Only after we didn't want to sit down there were we offered another table.

Visité Vittoria por mi cumpleaños como parte de un viaje familiar a Edimburgo con mi esposo, adolescente e hijo mayor. Investigamos restaurantes durante mucho tiempo antes de reservar este con antelación y me alegro de que lo hicimos, ya que estaba muy ocupado cuando llegamos a las 6 de la tarde un jueves por la noche! Tenía un ambiente agradable y ocupado y el servicio fue excepcional durante todo el camino. El personal era amable y profesional y no tuvimos que esperar mucho para hacer pedidos y recibir bebidas y comida. La comida era la mejor que he probado en mucho tiempo, las porciones eran generosas y los cócteles eran deliciosos! Sin duda no volvería en ningún viaje futuro a Edimburgo!

This place was so good I went twice during my stay in Edinburgh. The sauce they make for the muscles was the best I have ever had. The pastas had bursting flavors and were always cooked perfectly. If you like Italian this is a must in Edinburgh and the gelato was fantastic as well. 5 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I still can’t believe how fast our food was brought to our table. And it was so delicious! I had the chicken with mushroom. Beautifully decorated place with friendly staff

Eten was redelijk. Lasagne was lekker. Ook goed warm. Spaghetti carbonara was niet heel warm. Ook uitgedroogd aan de bovenkant. Waarschijnlijk poos onder warmhoudlamp gestaan. Tiramisu als dessert was smakeloos. Erg waterig. En wel duur. Personeel overdreven vriendelijk. Kwam niet oprecht over. Niet prettig. Op de rekening wordt standaard 10% extra als fooi toegevoegd. Er wordt gezegd dat dit niet persé betaald hoeft te worden, maar als je dat niet doet, vinden ze dat lastig en werd ons geen gedag gezegd.

Although I only stopped by for gelato, Vittoria on the Bridge left a lasting impression! The interior is stylish and welcoming, with a clean and well maintained dining space. Even though I didn’t try a full meal, everything about the atmosphere suggested that this is a high quality Italian restaurant. The gelato was rich, creamy, and authentically Italian, which is hard to find outside Italy. The presentation was lovely, and the portion size was generous. What made the experience even better was the staff, every person I interacted with was genuinely friendly and professional, and I believe most of them were Italian, which added to the authenticity of the place. The menu looked fantastic, and I’m definitely planning to return for a full meal next time. If you’re in Edinburgh and want to enjoy a proper Italian experience or just indulge in some delicious gelato this place is worth the visit!

First time here and it was a place someone recommended us. I wanted to say it was so delicious and the drinks were so good. Tanya was our server, and she was so sweet and so nice and she recommended some delicious food and drinks . Love the atmosphere and the staff super nice. Will definitely come back for sure

Tanya was an excellent host, very friendly and knowledgeable about recommendations.

We are super picky on italian food and found this place to have some of the better reviews around the area. We were greated by friendly staff apon walking in, and got a seat in about 5 minutes as it was busy and a Friday night. Where we sat was uncomfortably loud eith music from the radio blaring in our ears so we couldn't really hear each other talk. The waiter took our orders right away, and we got our starter fast. We had the garlic Mozzarella bread, it was basically flavorless and just cheese. I wouldn't recommend that. By now, there have been 4 other tables who have been sat after us at this point. All of their orders were taken after our starter, we then continued to wait another 45 minutes and still had no meals. The other tables have now all received their meals. No one has checked back in on us. Finally another waiter comes by, and asks about more drinks, so my husband orders a another drink, and I think he has realized by this time our food order was obviously forgotten. Another 15 minutes go by and we get our food (that second drink never showed up) and they never checked back in after the food showed up. The worst part is the food was gross, this was NOT authentic carbonara. Whatever reviews say that, have never made it or have had actual italian carbonara. It was thick, not creamy, and flavorless. I would never go back, and would NOT recommend this tourist trap of a place.

Vittoria is our favourite Italian Restaurant of all time. We have found the Vittoria experience to be consistently excellent and it even beats many nice meals we have had in restaurants in our favourite Italian cities, Firenze and Roma. The food is gorgeous and the restaurant staff tend to be from all over beautiful Italia. They really are amongst the nicest servers we have met anywhere.

Very friendly walking in. They took our coats when we sat down very nice of them. However seemed super rushed when taking our order. Got our app and drinks and then no meal for 45 plus minutes, while we watched other tables sit down after us and received they're meals before us. Blaring music that belonged in a cruddy night club. Our waiter just disappeared. New one came took my empty beer glass asked if I wanted another and then never came back. Avg food far from authentic Italian.

Food was some of the best I had in Edinburgh. The pear and gorganzola ravioli is delicious. Good drinks. Great service.

Had a lovely meal at Vittoria on the Bridge. Our server Mirko was pleasant and ensured we had a great time. Had the meatballs andcalamari for entree, meatballs were excellent and calamari cooked perfectly. We did a half and half for main so we shared a Hawaiian pizza and chicken pesto, both were excellent. Do yourself a favour and visit when youre in Edinburgh and have a meal.

Food was really great, service could be slightly improved but nothing major there. Atmosphere was like any other restaurant but it was definitely more Italian than one would expect.

Three of us had a late lunch in this lovely restaurant before attending the A Capella Championships in the nearby Greyfriars Kirk. The food was amazing...between us we had pizza (which was massive), chicken milanese and the mushroom pasta. Servers were fab, and the ambience was lovely. Definitely recommend 👌.

Authentic Italian pastas! Best cure for last nights sins. Carbonara and Tagliatelle were out of this world. Probably the best pasta in Scottland. Good drinks and wine. Very friendly staff. Only negative would be that they do not have Fernet Branca. I had an Amaro Averna as a substitute, and that's ok:)
