Best italian food in my life ❤️

Visited Rocca in Hamilton with my friend who has coeliac disease, and we were both so impressed by the variety of gluten-free options available. It’s not always easy to find places that cater so well to dietary needs, but Rocca really delivered. The food was absolutely amazing – full of flavour and beautifully done. We had such a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food with great gluten-free choices!

Noisy. Lasagne was more tomato sauce than actual lasagne I was physically sick a couple of hours after getting back to the house. Must have been the sauce cause I ate most of mine whereas other party who had lasagne left most of sauce. Pizza OK. Tiramasu OK. Didn't stay for coffee because of noise. Wine expensive. Any expensive and disappointing night out for a birthday treat. Won't be back in a hurry.

Waited ages for starters. When they came the portion size of the Arancini was minuscule. The main course was even longer , then they brought one of my son’s dish but not the other two we ordered. Then they took this away because it was too long a wait. The excuse was that the Chicken milanese wasn’t cooked properly. They left the garlic bread , so it was cold when we started eating. My son had the beef ragu tagliatelle tasted practically the same as my pasta in the Milanese. Sorry , I won’t be back.

Visited for lunch met by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our pre booked table had read a few reviews that were not too complimentary so was unsure what we would find no need great service and food was lovely the four of us shared a platter for a starter and it was more than enough main meals were all enjoyed too full for desserts finished with coffees will.certainly return

The Ice Cream Factory is superb for both walk in Ice Cream and take away tubs. Excellent ice cream and great service. Good value for money too.

We ate here on our second evening in Ayr following a recommendation by the owner of the guest house where we were staying. Seating is very comfortable and the restaurant is quite spacious. There’s a full menu of primarily Italian dishes with a good selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. The lasagne and pasta carbonara were very tasty along with a risotto dish. Service was very good…friendly and professional and despite being busy, staff were very observant. There’s a very large bar serving a particular good selection of cocktails. We thought prices were about average for the area and we enjoyed the experience of eating here.

The bistro is in the shopping center on the first floor. Were here for breakfast. Condition totally friendly. The food came super quickly. We really enjoyed it. Prices rather cheap. Clear recommendation.

It was a busy Easter Monday and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The food was nicely presented and tasted good. The staff were friendly and efficient. It's a busy, cheerful bistro. The takeaway prices looked quite reasonable and the sit in menu more expensive.

General ambiance - poor. Food and drinks menu tacky, greasy finger marks and need to be renewed - poor Vegetarians choices - poor. Quality of food delivered to table carne and veggie was - poor. Bottle of Peroni served luke warm -poor Older waitress used patronising tone

I’ve tried to love this restaurant - supporting local is important but it’s so frustrating that they just can’t get it right. This is my 9th visit - first time on a Saturday and I hoped it would be better than previous visits. We were seated at 7pm and given menus. By 715pm no one had taken drinks orders. When we finally ordered, we were advised that the wine we had chosen wasn’t available, 2of the 3 small plates we’d chosen weren’t available (not advised upfront) and the waiter confused our main course order. Our bottle of wine arrived with one dirty glass - no acknowledgment or apology from the waitress- and the wine (Malbec) wasn’t great. Water didn’t arrive until we reminded the waiter. We wanted desserts but were told that the two desserts we would have liked were not available. I think Burnside deserves better than this. If management are reading this please review what you are providing and give us a much more authentic and tasty experience which we can visit time after time.

Nice meal, but there were some mistakes in service. We had an item missing from a meal but decided not to say anything as we were having a nice meal. Staff were friendly. On the whole we would visit again.

Excellent fish and chips in the restaurant fish cooked to perfection by Ally highly recommend this restaurant service was outstanding and a lovely friendly atmosphere

Had the baked potato with chilli, it was very tasty but the amount of filling was very disappointing !! Minute portion be lucky if I had a tablespoonful !!

Visited this establishment recently and even allowing for COVID the place lacked any atmosphere and the food was bland and uninviting to look at. Poor quality all round
