My daughters baby shower was cancelled with just over a week to go, by original venue and I’m so glad it was. The Barclay suite in pings is amazing and the staff, every one of them couldn’t have done more. They’re friendly, helpful and so accommodating and the day was a pleasure from start to finish. This will be my go to place from now on. Thanks so much to each and every one of you

Didn’t actually get there. Turns out the restaurant is closed at the moment but the scunners took my online booking. Not impressed, so even if they open again I shan’t be going there!

We ate here on our second evening in Ayr following a recommendation by the owner of the guest house where we were staying. Seating is very comfortable and the restaurant is quite spacious. There’s a full menu of primarily Italian dishes with a good selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. The lasagne and pasta carbonara were very tasty along with a risotto dish. Service was very good…friendly and professional and despite being busy, staff were very observant. There’s a very large bar serving a particular good selection of cocktails. We thought prices were about average for the area and we enjoyed the experience of eating here.

Although busy, we got shown to a table very quickly. There was a mouth-watering display of cakes available, however the scones we opted for were by far the best we’ve tasted in a long time. I’d a superb pot of tea, and thanks to the skill of the dedicated barista, my husband enjoyed a fabulous flat white. A row of dedicated tip bowls ensured that our lovely server, Susan, was acknowledged for offering us the wonderful option of having our scones toasted; delicious! A nice old-fashioned end to our Largs visit.
