Ciao Bella in South Lanarkshire

Visited for lunch met by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our pre booked table had read a few reviews that were not too complimentary so was unsure what we would find no need great service and food was lovely the four of us shared a platter for a starter and it was more than enough main meals were all enjoyed too full for desserts finished with coffees will.certainly return

This restaurant is under new ownership and trades as Luciano’s - Hugely disappointed with this restaurant for a specific reason. We went with friends and generally the meal was good but my wife is coeliac and suffers severe reaction to gluten. She was ill a couple of hours after visiting Luciano’s - firstly they served bread which they say was gluten free but we are not sure if they mixed them up with our friends dish - (they had already mistakenly give us another tables food) this could have been the issue or otherwise it was the sauce with the main course - they mistakenly served up a wheat based sauce for my wife’s main course but replaced this when we queried . We suspect the same food may have been reused with an alternative sauce which should not happen. I emailed the restaurant to let them know and I wasn’t looking for any rebate or freebies - just an apology and some reassurance that staff should be retrained - I’ve not even had the courtesy of a reply. If you don’t have a food allergy I’d say go but if you do I would avoid. Totally fed up with restaurants who fail to acknowledge these mistakes - it happens too often - why pay to be made ill ??

Well worth the money. Mussels were plentiful and delicious. Carbonara creamy and flavoursome. Lovely surrounding and fabulous friendly staff. Especially the young man working Saturday 29th Feb. Didn’t catch his name but was attentive and charming. Big plus point for the toilets which were pristine. Wine was tasty and even though it was house wine it wasn’t cheap and nasty. Table of 3 with 3 starters, 3 mains and 2 glasses of wine each. £92! Brilliant value! Also looked family friendly which will keep in mind when looking at a family lunch venue.

Welcoming, professional staff headed up by Renato, great guy. Absolutely knockout fillet steak, cooked to perfection, with beautiful chips, onion rings and a delicious, slightly unusual, peppercorn sauce. Friendly atmosphere and tasteful decor, I really like Ciao Bella. Dougie

Almorzamos esta tarde. Mi hijo adulto, mi hija y yo. Esto fue alrededor de las 12:45. No hubo otros clientes, hasta después de que recibimos nuestros platos principales. Mi hijo, tenía la lasaña y un lado de papas fritas con queso y salsa de tomate. Dijo que ambos estaban muy bien. Tuve el estofado tostado de salchichas y frijoles, que estaba cubierto con un montículo saludable de puré de papas (no una pasta de mousse suave, pero un estilo rústico muy sabroso y con mucho carácter) que era bueno. La comida fue "hecha a la medida", y se sirve muy caliente. No había panecillos ni pan para acompañar el plato, lo que hubiera estado bien. Solo teníamos los platos principales con un lado de Chips. Es para 1 curso, 10 para 2 y 12 para 3. Esto no es comida rápida, así que no tengas prisa. Un buen almuerzo casero y pausado, en un hermoso entorno, es lo que tiene garantizado si cena aquí. Volveré. Realmente quería anotar 3. 6 pero no pude hacerlo. Danos un poco de pan y mantequilla / aceite de oliva para comer mientras esperamos. Hará una buena experiencia mejor.

Had dinner here about 5 or 6 times now and it never disappoints. Food is great, staff are wonderful. Love the veal, try it.

Had a family meal for a special birthday. Staff were very attentive and understanding when the wee one wasn’t very well. Could not recommend this place highly enough!

Estuve aquí con mi familia para el cumpleaños de mi madre. Era una fiesta de 10 personas y el personal hizo un trabajo maravilloso al permitirnos colocar decoraciones y globos para ella. La comida era realmente buena. Los mejillones y el chorizo fueron los mejores mejillones que he probado. La carbonara también fue muy buena. El resto de la fiesta tenía pizza, que era increíble y el bistec estaba bien también un poco grasoso. La ternera no bajó muy bien, que era la única cosa que alguien no disfrutaba, pero aparte de eso, fue una gran noche y mi mamá amó cada minuto. El personal sacó su pastel y jugó un feliz cumpleaños para ella, así que fue una muy buena noche, e incluso al final, cuando todos estábamos repartiendo la cuenta, lo hicimos un poco confuso para el personal, pero lo manejaron muy bien. ¡atrás!

As a treat to welcome the weekend we arrange a takeaway every Friday within the workplace. Last week our food for Ciao Bello was without fault. This prompted us to place another order today. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same experience today (Friday, 19th July, 2019). This was raised with Manager, Angela who advised she would investigate and contact writer. Angela did contact me, however, she did not impress as taking concerns seriously about poor quality of food and concerns being expressed at overcharging for vegetarian meal. I offered to return the food as evidence. When I advised that the menu on internet stated a vegetarian option of risotto she advised that this was a sample menu - not stated as a sample menu. She asked how she could address this issue since there has never been a bad review given about her restaurant. ( which is obviously untrue) When she enquired whether we wanted a fresh meal delivered today due to the quality of some of the food, I suggested that she may consider extending this offer to next Friday. I was horrified when she stated that she would not be giving up 4 meals and that I should contact her next week to arrange. She also advised that the restaurant does not like doing takeaway food at lunchtime because it takes time and organisation. I am sorry but with 2 customers only sitting in a restaurant on a Friday lunchtime you would think she would be glad of the business.

Stopped at Ciao Bella for some lunch. I had the Beef and Veal Ragu with pasta and a pizza. The food was good and the staff were extremely friendly well worth a visit if you are looking for a nice little friendly place to eat.

Siempre hemos sido un lugar local que planeamos visitar y nunca lo hemos logrado, definitivamente regresaremos. Servicio amable, compartimos una focaccia como entrante, buena base delgada y muy grande. Ambos tuvimos platos principales de pasta que estaban bien cocinados con ingredientes frescos. Buen vino y cerveza italiana de barril. Terminamos con cafés que de nuevo eran muy buenos. Bastante ocupado para una noche de domingo, obviamente una razón para eso.

A gem on the other side of town don't bother with the West End head for downtown Burnside where this family owned concern has been knocking Italian food out of the park for a good few years now. The chef was hand picked when this busy restaurant opened in a designer build kitchen, under where you sit, no cut price deals, no groupons, the locals from near and far don't need it advertised. Exquisite authentic dishes fill the plates and the menu, wash it down with Menabrea Italian draught beer, or a selection of wine from the vineyards of italy where the Scots/Italian owners, went and chose it themselves all for you. Just beautiful food. p.s, a Jimmy is a half Pizza half Pasta

La otra noche, mi esposa y yo visitamos este fantástico restaurante local y lograron exprimirnos a pesar de tener un grupo de 50 personas al mismo tiempo. Para ser honesto, no sé cómo la cocina logró mantener la calidad de la comida servida y cómo el personal mantuvo el nivel de servicio orquestado por el joven gerente profesional, un crédito para todos los involucrados. Siempre obtendrá personas de mentalidad pequeña que preferirían dejar comentarios negativos acerca de tener que pagar 2 o 3 libras más que en realidad apoyar a esta maravillosa joya local de lugares, lástima si alguna vez desanima a alguien por probar su lugar.

Para una excursión familiar a la que asistimos recientemente, casi todo el restaurante estaba reservado para nosotros y nos ofrecieron un menú fijo. La comida que pedimos estaba bien, sin embargo, las raciones no eran de un tamaño decente y no eran del nivel que esperábamos, aunque solo costaba 20 por cabeza. Cuando pedimos la comida, no se sirvió a nadie al mismo tiempo, algunas personas estaban sentadas con los platos principales vacíos y otras estaban recibiendo su primer plato a pesar de estar en la misma fiesta. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Clean, sheik decor. Simple but large menu with excellent dishes. Food was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.

Polite, friendly service with excellent food and generous portions and only downside was no room left for dessert.

This has now become our favourite local restaurant. I reviewed this place five years ago shortly after it opened and was less than complimentary. However, the owners took on board the criticisms and have turned this into a terrific establishment. They openly admit they made mistakes within the first six months of opening and have rectified them.

I took my family (5) all adults here last Friday evening. On a busy evening they fitted us in and were all so polite and helpful. The food was excellent. From the pizza’s to the seafoods it was a real delight. This Italian restaurant is a real ‘must’ if you enjoy good food and a very good bottle of wine. I can’t wait till I’m back in Glasgow to go again.

Thank you for accommodating our P7 class for their end of year treat. The girls had a lovely meal from the kids menu and really enjoyed their evening. The food was excellent value for money and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos en la última noche en 6. 30:00 y yo no había estado en 2 años por la misma razón. Mi amigo nunca había estado en una comida pero mucho café como yo. Pero para mi decepción la Lasaña no tenía sabor y ciertamente no sabía nada de carne y mi amigo Pollo Capresse (pollo) era aburrida y difícil. Ciertamente no italiana auténtica cocina. Yo estaba en la industria de la comida y yo sé qué sabores y hierbas de uso.

Recommended by family to try for lunch. My family took me here for a birthday lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff informal but pleasant and attentive, lunch menu had plenty choice and great value for money as well as good quality. Food was lovely and good portions - would recommend!

Came here for dinner with the girlfriend with a voucher given by a friend. Both of us didn't really expect much but was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I had the mussels for starter which was excellent and my girlfriend's Antipasto was full of flavors. Both our main courses were fine but nothing really special. However, the dessert was exceptional, Caramelized baked apples with Butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream. We were fighting over as we only ordered one to shared...

Went here last night was just ok nothing outstanding ordered just main course and had to wait 40 mins wasn't that busy when we went in so don't no why it took so long and chicken and mash at £13.95 was a bit overpriced tasty mash but chicken was nothing special so not worth the money as we were still hungry not a lot of food so won't be rushing back.

We visited this restaurant regularly during 2016/17, however hadn't been for a while and were very disappointed. The food was average, and the service terrible, we had finished our starters and after 20mins had to ask for our main course, waitress said they were busy, at this point the restaurant was less than half full. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks, and we waited so long, we had to ask again for these. We had to wait for 15mins for coffees, whilst the waitress sat in a corner giggling with other staff, the waiter behind bar chatted on his mobile and another member of staff cleaned tables. No one was interested in serving diners. We wont be back.

Went for lunch with the girls. Found the food so so & the service the same but the gentleman i took to be the manager was a rude, ill tempered sort who seemed unused to dealing with customers. While we were there we witnessed him verbally attacking a woman & her elderly companion who dared to question something on the bill. Despite repeated requests by the woman for him to leave the old lady alone he chased them both out the restaurant! Disgusting & unacceptable behaviour. We have never gone back.

Dinner with friends, ordered off the pre-theatre menu - pea and ham soup then chicken wrapped in pancetta with wild mushroom risotto all really tasty and good portion size.

También muchos italianos mejor en Glasgow para volver aquí. Have been many times and it was always good. However not having been for some time I was hugely disappointed at the change.

Was rather worried when I booked this place then read some.bad reviews here ! Called up and asked for a table to the aid dog the room as I'm hard of hearing ... perfect table at the window backing to the wall .Staff friendly . Toilet clean . Music not too loud. Air con was on lol . Usual noisy wee Italian but great atmosphere. Drinks - great selection of gins but was no chardonnay to our disappointment. Food was great , a notch up from another local Italian that we usually goto . Steak was superb,my lasagne was tremendous and Scallops beautiful as starter. Staff very friendly and attentive.We will return soon I'm sure !

Had lunch here recently and the food was very good. Had two courses from the set menu. My friend said it was the best lasagne she had eaten for a while. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

We went for a lunchtime treat. We had mains and dessert fixed price menu. Whilst we had a choice of options for mains we felt that it was a bit limited and not like the online version! My wife felt the vegetarian pasta was a bit bland. The food was nice and well presented. We enjoyed the dessert

Picking up our button holes for a wedding we came accross this excellent restaurant & called in for a quick lunch. The young lady who served us could not been more welcoming or helpful. We enjoyed our light lunch & would definitely recomend this restaurant

Popped in whilst staying in the Burnside Hotel for a meal. Pleasantly surprised with the top quality of the food we were served. We got in early at around 6:30. By 7:30 the place was packed. I had steamed mussels - a massive plate of around 50 was served up and that was the starter. Linguine with king prawns (Gamberoni) at around 12 quid was absolutely stunning. Its a shame we were only there a few nights as I am sure we'd do it again had we more time.

Plain and simple. In one word thus place us "amateurish". Service terrible, food cold and bland. Very small portions. Over priced and over rated. Will never return. Trust me, go somewhere else.

I have visited Ciao Bella a few times as I like to support local businesses and liked the decor of the restaurant so suggested it for a family celebration meal. Unfortunatley I will not be back due to a bad experience, lack of customer service and Managements response.I wasn't going to leave a review of this visit back in August, however, my mother in law left a review recently and the management responded with untrue comments.Unfortunately there was a long wait between starters and mains and with children and myself being heavily pregnant we were getting frustrated with the wait and lack of communication.I actually asked the lady who was serving us (who I was advised also owns the restaurant) that we had been waiting 1 hour 15 minutes for our main meal. She replied "It is on it's way", not even so much as an apology. The Managers response states starters were at 7pm and mains ordered at 7:31pm. This is incorrect as starters and main meals were ordered at the same time (as is the case with all restaurants). When the main meals did arrive we were advised the delay was due to the steaks being "well done", and again no apology for our long wait. Regarding the Managers response that "it took 30 mins between starters and mains which is fine as well done steaks take at least that". I have had steaks at popular steak restaurants and small family run restaurants many times which were much busier and have never had to wait 30 minutes. The receipt has no relevance as it would only state the times orders were placed not when orders arrived on our table. We wouldn't have minded the wait too much if we were offered an apology, or perhaps a complimentary drink. I don't understand why Management replied to my mother in laws response but not the other negative reviews. We have no reason to leave a "false" review of Ciao Bella. We were very much looking forward to our meal but were left disappointed.

Met a friend here for lunch. The menu is excellent value and the quality of food was well above expectations. Both pasta dishes were delicious as were the desserts. The service was friendly, maybe more so because my friend is a regular, and quick. I've eaten here twice now and have been impressed both times.

Decided at the last minute to take family members for dinner. They know good food and they were thrilled with the quality of their meal. We all had a great time, we were served with style and humour and I won't hesitate to bring more of my friends here.

Went for a double celebration, granddaughter starting high school and son's birthday. 6 adult and 3 children, approximately 6:30 on August 24th 2016. Not particularly busy but was after 8 before we were served our meals. The reason for the delay we were told was because 3 people ordered well done fillet steaks. I don't think it would take an hour and a half to cook fillet steaks. Although the bill was over £200 we were not even offered some complimentary starter or drinks to compensate for the long wait. Having children with us we then had to rush the meal which I would describe as only adequate. Will definitely not be returning

Popped in for lunch and it was fairly quiet at first. We ordered from the two courses for £9.95 menu, and both asked for the chicken soup, then I had smoked haddock risotto and my husband had the chicken with black pudding.The bread which came with the soup was lovely, however, the soup was full of chicken and vegetables, but it was absolutely tasteless. Mains were fine, the chicken dish was very tasty and my risotto was just ok.The lovely waitress brought us a complimentary dessert to make up for the starter. So, we would go again and the service was great. Xxx

As we arrived we were told the pre theatre didn't exist despite the fact the website and menu said it did. We were then told we had to order really fast as the Chefs didn't do that menu despite the fact the the website and menu said it did.. no apologies were made just a very curt and rushed manner.. it made the start of the meal very unpleasant. Thank goodness the food was good and it was, the starter of leek and potato soup was ok but the Main of vegetable rigatoni and smoked haddock risotto was lovely, really amazing! They need to sort out there customer service if they want ppl to come back.

Staff are lovely and food is okay but tbh it can be more expensive eating here than in the City Centre. It is nothing spectacular and we really do not mind spending money on a great experience I went with my friend one night after work and we were £80 for 2 drinks 2 mains and 2 sweets on a during the week night not really what you would call pre theather ...........was good enough but not cost effective

We always visit in December for Christmas Dinner without the hard work. As usual it didn't disappoint. Our food was perfect - the three course Christmas Menu-and we chose our wines perfectly too. Great service from our favourite staff and on relaxed Sunday evening it was the perfect way to start Christmas week.

My husband and I recently had a meal at Ciao Bella. I have heard great reviews about this restaurant and certainly was not disappointed. My husband had the scallops and then (huge) pizza. I had the chilli prawns and then the steak. We both enjoyed the fresh, tasty food. I was slightly disappointed though, as my steak didn't come with any veg - maybe some green veg, mushrooms or tomatoes would have been good with this dish. My husband had the sticky toffee pudding which came highly recommended by the young waiter. To finish we had 2 limoncellos, which we were not charged for. Nice wee extra touch. Staff were very friendly, but not hovering you. Great to have a place like this that is local, which saves you a visit into town. Will be back!

Dined here recently . There was a party of eight of us for which we had a deposit of £80 . The service was terrible there were only another two tables occupied so it was not busy. The minestrone soup was watery and not hot enough the rest of the meal was just ok although the portions were smallish. The bill came to £180 odd but no sign of our £80 deposit which we had to ask about before it was taken off. Doubt if we will go back. Check your bill !

Visited Ciao Bella on Wednesday evening for dinner. Very tasty risotto and the largest (& scrummiest!) affogato I've ever seen!! Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We have visited 3 times now, 2 meat eaters and one vegan. Both dinners were really nothing amazing, expensive for what you get. Lunch was better, minestrone tastier and food hotter, also fairer prices! All in all fairly bland and not worth the evening prices. Wanted to like this local, struggling to do so.

Went to ciao bella with family for the first time this week and was not dissapointed. Decor inside was lovely and staff very attentive and pleasant . Ordered up some starters the scallops and black pudding was excellent and well worth a try . Main meals did not dissapoint sea bass was beautifully cooked and tasted lovely the fillet steaks were fresh tasty and the red wine jus was a perfect complement to this dish . All food was freshly made and you could taste the difference . Owner had a chat with us on the way out which was a nice touch . Would highly recommend that you give this local restaurant a try you will not be dissapointed.

This is a place we often go to for impromptu meals. The staff are very nice and the food usually fine. I'd like a few more vegetarian choices though, there is really just one pizza with the option of adding pepper or onion, and vegetable risotto, which is nice, but a couple of pasta options would be good. The kids menu has tomato pasta and macaroni cheese, so I'd imagine you could get a larger portion of one of those, but it would be nice to see them as an option on the main menu. It's a little expensive for what it is, but there's not a huge choice in the area, so happy to pay as otherwise would be looking at going into town

Attended restaurant as part of a group of 24 for a retirement lunch. We were overcharged £60.00 which was not noticed until the next day. This was on top of the £40.00 service charge. Very average food, very average service....over all a disappointing experience. Would not go back or recommend. Make sure you check your bill!

A great local restaurant! We had the pre-theatre, Minestrone Soup and Lasagne. Delicious! Good size portion and great service! Lucky to have such a nice restaurant near by. The staff are very warm and welcoming and I saw one of the owners being really kind to an older adult who came in for a coffee. Was nice to see everyone being made welcome whether it's a coffee or a three course meal. No pretentiousness here! Great food and great service

We enjoyed an anniversary lunch with family.Fixed two course lunch good value ( which we had done previously) . This lunch was off of the main menu . More expensive of course . Men decided on the fillet steak was done the way they liked it & they were very happy .I had the Sea Bass which was absolutely delicious, Cousin had the mussels with spaghetti which was a good too. With a nice dessert for us ladies . All round happy customers .A large glass of wine & £7.35 a bit expensive if no one wants to share a bottle (drivers etc. )

On a business trip to Glasgow, tried this local restaurant to where we were staying! Food was magnificent, service was very good! Highly recommended.

Found myself in the unfortunate position of being locked out my house today with no wallet, phone or money. Poeppd into Ciao Bella to sleep if I could use their computer to FB my wife to tell her of my plight. Angela and Renato made me feel perfectly at home and even gave me a glass of wine to make me feel better. Great place: great food and great vibe.

Have been in ciao Bella a few times and can't fault the food or service. On a recent weekend lunch trip we had three courses from their lunch menu and some drinks and coffee. Standard of food - antipasti , salmon, bruschetta and pasta arabiata was lovely and great value. Staff are attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Great to support a local business and easy to do that when the food and service is good. Definitely would recommend a visit.

First visit to this restaurant and we will definitely go back. We took our 12 month old grandson who was immediately welcomed by the owner and made much of. He really loved his pasta and tomato sauce and it is fair to say the food the adults ate was very good. The starter portion of mussels was big enough to be a main course and my son said they were excellent. If you are looking for pizza you will be served an authentic Italian pizza but the emphasis is on well prepared meat and fish courses which you would expect to be served in a restaurant in Rome or Milan.They also have very good daily and childrens' menus at a reasonable price. If you are in the Burnside/Rutherglen area don't miss this excellent restaurant.

We booked for ten people for my birthday on 30th June and had an excellent meal. I started with a selection of meats and olives. For mains we all ordered differently from the menu, steak, pasta & risotto. It was an pricey evening but you pay for what you get-I could not fault the food or the service! Everyone had an excellent evening and the atmosphere was lovely and inviting! We will definite return! Well done and keep up the good work!

Amazing meal the fish cake was superb and my husband loved the mussels. I had pasta with fillet steak which melted in your mouth and my other half had pizza we shared some really nice thick chips. Although we had no room for dessert I had s coffee which was really good.

First time we had been to this lovely restaurant. Our family took us out to dinner to celebrate Hubby's 65th birthday. We had a lovely meal, drinks and cocktails. Food was very nice. Menu had a good selection of dishes. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Minestrone Soup is amazing and tastes even better with the lovely Italian bread provided. Ordered from lunch menu but I thought it was strange there was no pizza listed on the lunch menu. Very accommodating and attentive staff and always ensuring everything is perfect with your meal. Quick service and very flavourful on every course.

Had read some reviews about portion sizes being small in this restaurant which put me off trying it. My husband booked for our anniversary meal as a surprise. My pasta was fresh and tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak. I was very impressed with the wine list. The Passori (recommended by the owner) was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal and portion sizes were fine especially as we had 3 courses. Not the cheapest restaurant but very good value and plenty of choice.

Food very expensive for what you get. Service was good on the whole although I had hardly finished my main when they took the plate away. Atmosphere and decor is light and fresh. Overall glad I tried it but would not go back.

We visited here while visiting family in Burnside in April .After moving away from Glasgow a few years ago I was eager to head to the city centre for our special occasion which was my mother's birthday. I have to say I was not disappointed, in fact everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We had one minor hiccup with one order however on bringing it to the waiters attention it was dealt with quickly and new plate in the table in no time. These things happen especially in a busy environment and I was impressed at the way it was handled. The atmosphere here was most enjoyable. I'll be sure to pop in again my next visit home .

I was in this restaurant, very nicely decorated, but very tight seating, had the mussels, very nice, but the Carbonara was poor, the Cooked Dried Spagetti was crunchy, if an Italian cant cook pasta ??? It is Glasgow City Center prices, do youself get a Taxi into the city, wont be back.

I loved it good food clean restaurant with friendly staff.The portions are on the small side but couldn't fault the food. If you have main course I recommend you end the evening with there great tirimisu.

Can't thank the staff enough for the service lovely atmosphere and quality of food, the venue was a perfect to complete a special day after my Grandaughter's christening,took all the stress out of the day .....Perfect..

Visited this restaurant with friends Food very good but did not arrive at the same time. The Filleto meal was beautiful and comes highly recommended.A very nice ambience and clean and tidy will go back.Ensure food is served at the same time.

lovely little tast of Italy in Burnside. Staff were so friendly and helpfull, my first visit and would definately recommend and return again soon. Food was fresh and tasty, very good value. Good quality and toilets very clean.

The Service is fantastic the waiters are always accommodating, and to offer to make items on the menu suitable for vegetarians, felt very relaxing and my 3 year old loves it

Took my family as I had been before and rated it very highly , my brother -in law said he will decide as he knows a good steak .He said this is the best steak he has probably ever eat and the red wines were very nice.

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time last Saturday despite some very mixed opinions. Unfortunately all the bad reviews were spot on. Very limited menu. Have never seen such a poor limited choice in any Italian restaurant. Prices are on a par with Centre of Glasgow restaurants but no where near the standards and service of any of them. In fact two other Italian restaurants in the local vicinity beat this place hands down for food quality, choice, price and professionalism of staff. My advice, therefore would be to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

We decided to go in and sit down as we had 2 1/2 hours to kill. It was very quiet as it was Monday evening.The young waitress was welcoming and delightful throughout the whole meal. Ordered with no expectation in particular. The starter and main were very very good. My hubby had lemon cheesecake for dessert and it was the best either of us had ever tasted. Own dessert was pretty disappointing. Not as advertised at all. That said this was a real treat and definitely worth another visit.And the waitress makes a mean cocktail.
