I got the Parma sandwich, I was quite underwhelmed. The prosciutto was quite pooey. Not worth the money.

In the middle of the charming little streets of St Andrews, I found a hidden gem that made me feel like I was dining in a tucked-away trattoria in Rome: Little Italy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that cozy vibe that makes you slow down and enjoy without rushing —and that unmistakable smell of real Italian cooking that grabs you the moment you walk in. I started with the garlic bread, and it was spot on. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right touch of garlic and olive oil —nothing else needed. For the main course, I went straight for the chicken pesto spaghetti: a simple combo, maybe, but here they absolutely nail it. The pesto was fresh and creamy, with that real basil and pine nut flavor that changes everything. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, adding just the right amount of protein without taking over the dish. I left happy, with that feeling of having eaten something made with real care. If you're ever in St Andrews, don't miss it —Little Italy is a true gem.

One to avoid, the waiting stqff are helpful and polite but the food was dreadful. An ambitious menu v poorly executed. The place looks tired and no longer loved.

Food was amazing and staff was very helpful. We came here on New Year’s Day and while it was busy, our waiter Alex was very attentive and we had a great experience!

A very basic experience here. Very friendly staff other than the manager. Slow service. My lasagne was at best described as mushy pasta with mince. No texture. Wine was reasonable. There must be better in St. Andrews!

So disappointed, we've been to the Byers road Zizzis many a time and it's a family favourite. We were expecting the same and were sorely disappointed. Thankfully we had booked a table in advance however the place didn't seem busy. The manager who greeted us was great and he was really attentive. However after being taken to the table we were passed to the waiting staff and things went downhill. No-one came near us for a drinks order and we were left waiting for 20 minutes until someone came to take the food order, we then had to prompt them to take a drinks order. The waiting staff were abrupt and had no nicety about them. One was ridiculously rude when they brought food to the table that we hadn't ordered. When the food came it was lovely and couldn't complain about the kitchen at all, it was tasty and of a great standard. Over all the place looks nice, the food was lovely, but the waiting staff we dealt with were rude and unwelcoming.

Not impressed!Had expressly asked for a table for 9 and got confirmation on Open Table but the large tables had been given to what were clearly crowds of young Uni students.Told the manageress we were here to scatter our Mums ashes and she couldn’t care less, didn’t even give an apology, nor a reasonable excuse. We were put at 2 separate tables. The restaurant obviously ran a policy of getting as much pizza out as possible in as little time, but customer service is totally lacking.Only 1 member of staff smiled in the whole 1 1/2 hours we were there.

arrived on time and welcomed to our seat. we arrived a family of four. gad stayed at the fairmont hotel recently and had been told whilst on our stay the restaurant was busy and fully booked throughout our stay at the hotel. booked it up as it was a birthday anticipating a really good meal. it wasnt. average to say the least…the pasta dish ordered was so average lacking flavour and any substance and the fish dinner my wife ordered was barely touched with all the bones! my 8 year old however did enjoy her kids pizza. given how expensive this place is im almost sure i wont visit again.
