The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scotland

Venue is stunning. Super cute and cosy feel. Staff were nice, but I do feel they lacked enthusiasm and communication. We waited 20 minutes for our first 2 drinks (beer and a porn star martini) 40 minutes for our second 2 cocktails. We were given one drink free as we had waited so long. We had gone out with the intention of trying as many cocktails as we could but we felt like staff had actually forgotten about us. With only 4 tables, I find that hard to believe. When we were ordering food it all went pretty easy. The food took a respectable time to come out and it was actually pretty tasty! After our food was cleared the waitress asked if we wanted another beer over, i said yes but my friend was about to order and she walked away. We had been in the restaurant from 6-8pm had our meal and 6 drinks and generally felt a bit deflated after it. On a brighter note. When we did get the cocktails they were amazing, the place was clean and food was really nice. Just might get a takeaway instead next time.

El mejor sandwich italiano fuera de Italia. Deliciosas combinaciones de carne y queso con deliciosas salsas. El pan es abundante y masticable. Maravilloso!

Best coffee we have had in a very long time, great sandwiches we had the salami was really tasty and filling! Well worth a visit!

We were passing and dropped in. They were very busy but fitted us in. Quick, efficient and friendly including one of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had. Recommended.

We arrived for our dinner at 5pm.We were greeted straight away from a lovely gentlemen.The waitress then came and took our drinks order.We had a lovely starter of Foccacia.We each had a Pasta dish each one being a prawn pasta with garlic tomatoes and cream.It was delicious.We then shared a cheesecake and ice cream.Would highly recommend this restaurant.We were in Glasgow for a concert and would go back again if we were in the city again.

Nicest Italian in the town... we 💜 mi amore! The wife loves the mussels... and they deliver now too, which is real handy. Staff are always lovely to us, always have been. The toilets are super clean too - just thought id add that in!

Perfect tagliatelle Al fungi. Just the right mix of cheese, cream and saltiness. Alex made us feel welcome with his wine knowledge and excellent customer service.

30 quid magic munchie for 3 people had next to no food pizza was dry and for 30 quid could have got more food and still had change.. sort it oot

Staying in Edinburgh for weekend and so glad we chose to book a meal here. Very friendly, attentive service and pizzas were very fresh and tasty . Good choice of options on menu and reasonable prices .

My partner and I were looking for a romantic spot for dinner and Divino exceeded our expectations. With its cozy ambiance and intimate, exquisite design, the restaurant transports you to Italy. The cuisine was excellent!

We have gone in occasionally for lunch and never been disappointed. Fantastic food and great service. Will definitely be back.

So so good! Went for Valentine’s Day, we have family in Italy so are fussy about Italian food and mamma Mia this hit the mark! Lovely bubbly human service with a smile and the food was outstanding, pizza and pasta cooked to perfection which is hard to find in Glasgow! Very happy with the portion size of mussels, it’s often too small, not here. Deserts were spot on and all at quite hard to believe value! I feel if we got everything we ordered here at ORO on Kilmarnock road it would have been double the price. Thank you we’ll be back in no time.

We had a party of 13 people to celebrate my sons birthday, as always the food was excellent, the servers were attentive and we were able to keep the birthday cake a secret until all the servers appeared singing happy birthday. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we all had a fantastic evening. Special thanks to the gentleman who took our orders and looked after us all night, sorry I can’t remember his name

This was the perfect find for our trip. Non-touristy local restaurant with great food and service. The lasagna and tiramisu were solid. Definitely recommend.

Amazing, best vegan pizza I’ve ever had and I’m not even vegan! Quite pricey but you get what you pay for. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone in to creating their menu and it shows. We’ll be back for sure.
