The best restaurants serving Italian food in Wakefield North Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

Our first visit (but not our last) to this new bar and restaurant. The chef did an amazing job producing 4 different meals with skill. All meals were top quality from t bone steak to pasta. It is a small gem in Wakefield that you need to visit to appreciate. Friendly and helpful staff and a personal visit from the chef helped make this an enjoyable experience- with cocktails as well.

Sampled the new menu tonight and well impressed. Pizza was cracking as usual, but the stand out dishes were Arancini and the beef ragu pasta

It's just wow your restaurant I've been there twice with my sister, delicious food hot and well served with friendly and generous welcoming staff without forgetting the price is reasonable

Amazing food and good pizzas and the staff were so nice. Definitely will come again with more people. And now I am just saying words to get past the min charicters.

This restaurant is a great find. Warm welcome and good seating options. There were 4 adults and 2 children all adults had something different and we all really enjoyed them. Starters were good and mains good quality and portions. One of our party just after surgery so requested half portion - it was no problem and didn’t charge for full. The staff were great and the menu is very varied. I had sea bass with a pearl barley risotto- delicious 😋 Thanks to all staff we will be back.

Visited with four friends on a Saturday evening. It was very quiet. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The meals were enjoyable, with the exception of the rib eye steak, which seemed poor quality and was incorrectly cooked. My only real criticism is that, in my opinion, apart from the pizzas, the meals are overpriced for the standard you get.

Me and my partner attended today the place looked nice. The food tasted awful (pasta) was obviously microwaved, worst part is we are both suffering with sickness tonight and have not eaten the same food in weeks! Not saying it’s definitely from this restaurant but if the shoe fits! Staff where very uncomfortable to interact with and unorganised.. Would avoid in the future and not recommend!

Me and my mother went here today and my god it was absolutely beautiful the bread is unreal the service is great and very friendly staff I had the rustico tagatelie the sizes are perfect just enough and the tirumasu is highly recommended will definitely be back (probably every week)🤣great food great atmosphere great service and overall great place

Best lime and soda price I've had for ages. Place seems nice, stairs to the toilets look a bit lethal, but for the time I was there it was nice, getting nosier from 7pm. Staff were attentive, cleared up quick.

Fantastic service and even better food! We had Linguine allo scoglio, Vitello con crema, margarita pizza and kids chicken nuggets (the potrion was huge). Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious! They even played happy birthday and brought a lovely piece of cake for my daughter (she wore a bday badge). What a fabulous place 5*

My friend and I were out for lunch today. We ordered pizza, arancini and courgette fries. The food was very good. A nice surprise was the new dish (bruchetta) sent by the head chef. The service was friendly as always. The restaurant clean and atmospheric. We will return again soon :)

Not surprised this restaurant has closed. They describe their cuisine as fine dining but they obviously do not understand what fine dining is. Slow service, dreadful pizza with undercooked dough (how come they can't produce a good pizza in an Italian restaurant?), tough chicken, lukewarm vegetables. Poor choice for vegetarians.
