Geralds Bar&restaurant in Wakefield

Our first visit (but not our last) to this new bar and restaurant. The chef did an amazing job producing 4 different meals with skill. All meals were top quality from t bone steak to pasta. It is a small gem in Wakefield that you need to visit to appreciate. Friendly and helpful staff and a personal visit from the chef helped make this an enjoyable experience- with cocktails as well.

Hidden gem in kirkgate. A great addition to Wakefield. The food here is really fresh, tasty and well presented. My friends & I come often for wine and George always looks after us! Well worth a visit

The food was delicious, and we were treated to a few extras by the lovely staff. It was a nice, relaxed dinner but the standard of the food was very high. We both had the salmon fillet and I’d order that again if I went back. It was perfect.

Came here yesterday and, although it was late (9.45pm) due to being left waiting for service by Syhriba staff, they very kindly accommodated us. The service was next to none and the food was gorgeous. I and all my fellow diners would definitely recommend that you pay a visit and I only wish that we had booked here first instead of the cattle shed round the corner! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 💙💜💚

Meal out with family. I was looking for something new in Wakefield. It’s very tastefully decorated and in an area of Wakefield that’s not the most obvious to go for dinner. Give it a try, it’s a new business with a great menu. We were a group of 5 all ordering different meals, all were very tasty. Waiting staff very attentive and friendly. Complimentary desert offered too.

What a lovely place. We had booked at a nearby Indian restaurant where after waiting over 2 hrs for food we walked out, We walked passed Geralds and even though they were nearly ready for closing they agreed to serve the 6 of us They turned out evening around Lovely staff, great food and nice surroundings, we will definitely be going back

This is a wonderful find in Wakefield even though it has only been open for a month. The menu an eclectic mix of Mediterranean food. My friend and I shared two delicious starters which were prepared fresh and to a high standard by lovely Letta. Our waiter was charming and attentive. The prosecco was excellent, chilled to perfection and a new one on us. This is a restaurant for all occasions, warm and inviting. They very kindly gave us a complementary tiramasu which was lush to say the least, made by the aforementioned Letta. Good value for money and well worth a visit. Would highly recommend. Yet another tick in Wakefield's favour when it comes to culinary delights!

Wonderful and warm place to drink and eating , the food was amazing both in taste and decoration and the staff was very kind and welcome one of the bests places in Wakefield.
