It's just wow your restaurant I've been there twice with my sister, delicious food hot and well served with friendly and generous welcoming staff without forgetting the price is reasonable

Our visit started when I picked up a menu from the counter and we made our choice only to be told it was a takeway menu not the cafe menu. Nothing on the menu would have told us that. My daughter ordered a Calzone Kiev. Before it arrived the member of staff gave us the cutlery which included a steak knife which he placed right in front of my 23 month old granddaughter which was very dangerous if she had grabbed it. The Calzone arrived smothered in a tomato sause which seemed to be disguising the badly burnt offering. The last straw was the fact they had no facility to change the baby in their unisex toilet. Why have a high chair and a childrens menu but no baby changing facilities? My daughter had to kneel on the floor and use the childs blanket to protect her from the cold and potentially unsanitary floor. You cant see germs!! Dont want to eat there again despite it displaying a Tripadvisor certificate of excellence!

Visited last week as a couple, had pizza and lasagna meal thought the pizzas here where outstanding the lasagna was even better so tasty , this place is truly fabulous top marks and the staff are always friendly and helpful here too

Fantastic food,, fantastic portions fantastic staff, fantastic wine, drinks, and fantastic prices, this place is 1st class you will not be disappointed. This was our 1st visit but it won't be our last, cheap eats at a good price, the best in Wakefield 👌😀👍

Superb eating experience. A woodfired pizza oven cooks pizza to perfection. The Arancini were to die for. Service prompt and friendly. This place makes me wish I lived in Wakefield.

Possibly one of the best Italian meals we've had! It's not in the best area, surrounded by pound shops and boarded up windows but don't let this put you off. The attentive staff, service, portion sizes and choices on the menu are all first class. The best lasagne and tiramisu ever, both homemade by the resident chef - can't praise this little restaurant enough. Reasonably priced food and wine which easily beats any of the chain Italian restaurants. You will not be disappointed, just don't be put off by its cafe-like appearance (brightly lit, simple furnishings), it really is a hidden gem.

This was our second visit and it was just as good. The food keeps coming but you have the choice to say no. Well worth a visit......

For a lunchtime snack I ordered Chicken Bacon nd Avocado salad. . I was brought a generous plateful of usual salad ingredients wit pieces of fried chicken. I searched in vain for bacon and avocado.. No dressing on the salad. . I asked for dressing and was brought oil and balsamic vinegar which shortly after was removed to another table, .I had hoped for something more interesting. Staff were friendly. Décor and furniture very basic.Nothing to encourage me to go again.

The service we received here was amazing as always. I have been here a few times with my partner. We are always made to feel welcome and the staff are very friendly and professional. This little restaurant is amazing. Food is excellent prepared & cooked fresh ( no 'ping' of a microwave !!) Coffee is great too with added syrup for extra flavour. The staff are extremely friendly & the atmosphere is very warm & welcoming so much so that from the moment you walk in you feel very much at home. I have been going there for a while now & when I walk in my coffee is automatically made for me. Great choice on the menu & they offer day & evening meals & also a home delivery service. Small family run restaurant with a BIG warm welcome .

Every time I go into the Moccha Cafe it always brings a smile to my face the food is delicious and the staff are really friendly.

We visited on a Saturday night and there was only another couple in as well as our party of 8. The staff were lovely and so attentive. We had a variety of dishes, chicken in a variety of sauces, gorgeous chunky chips, salads, pizza, pasta, everyone really enjoyed their mains. The waffles, tiramisu and coffees we had were gorgeous too. The prices are very reasonable. I think if this place was located elsewhere it would probably be busier. Highly recommended, great food, give it a try.

A very pleasant experience: great service and the food was excellent. Pizzas were amazing! Two of us had a chicken and aubergine dish with chips and salad, all were absolutely excellent, salad very fresh and well arranged, not just a handful of rocket! Good price too...if I lived in Wakefield (and not just a visitor) I would eat here all the time! All on the ground floor with double doors so I think that it is wheelchair access.

In all honesty you wouldn't go into this place if you didn't read the reviews. It's not particularly pleasing on the eye from the outside and the area of Wakefield isn't great!!The food however is lovely, we have been quite a few times and never had a bad meal. The pasta dishes in particular are extremely tasty and well priced, and extremely filling!!!Would recommend to anyone who lives or works in Wakefield.

Knowing where this place was we were a bit dubious but after reading reviews thought we would give it a try. Not disappointed at all. Food was great and service very good. If you were walking past this place you probably wouldn’t go in as we were only couple in but please don’t let this put you off ! We will be going again.

This place just keeps improving, the food is still amazing and the coffees are delicious. This morning popped in for breakfast and once again in was not disappointed, compared to another cafe I visited recently the food was piping hot and delicious, the coffee woke me up and the staff are always welcoming. Once again I cannot recommend this place enough.

This independent cafe is a little gem. Beautiful home baked produce, pastries and other goodies. Friendly staff, lovely comfortable ambience. This is by far the nicest place to have a coffee, meet friends, or just sit and read a book. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Go here all the time for coffee on the go or to sit and relax. The chef is an artist when it comes to food and always there to recommend dishes if you don't know what you want. The pizza or salads are divine would highly recommend this place to all who are in Wakefield.

Been here a few times and I must say I am still impressed that the standards and food has not faltered from my first visit to this latest lunch. The portions are plenty and the prices are reasonable. Today I had the Bacon, Chicken and avocado salad and for the price you get a whole lot.

Stopped there for lunch. Superb pizza - would have been good value at twice the price - great service.

I e been a customer here on and off since it opened kept meaning to put a review and kept forgetting. The welcoming of the place is great no matter what time of day. The food is great, I’ve had some of the best breakfasts here and evening meals. It’s absolutely lush .

Visited here after reading reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed. We were the only customers in the restaurant so it allowed to have a good meeting whilst eating. The staff were very friendly and the chef was very pleasant and happy to have a chat. He sure knows how to make a good calzone. The food was brilliant & the prices reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to friends & family & will certainly go back. Well worth a trip

The front of this establishment gives no clue to the outstanding quality of food inside traditional pizza oven serving truly amazing pizza , garlic mushrooms as good as anywhere it is only a cafe with a rather dizzy girl serving quite clueless but the food and smiling kitchen staff are quality take a bow a return is a definite

What an amazing meal we had at Moccha. A little gem in Wakefield and I highly recommend you try it. Located on Kirkgate opposite the bottom ringings shopping centre entrance. So glad we found it. Will definitely be returning again for sure. The food was all freshly made and a really lovely selection on the menu. Lovely clean tidy surroundings and peaceful music. You need to try the pizzas here. I had Apollo E Funghi and it went down a treat. I tried some of the freshly made pizza and witnessed the chef making the dough fresh. Kids are welcome. Very reasonably priced and the kids love the milkshakes. Once you’ve tried this place you will be wanting to come again and again. This place is wonderful.

Very nice place. Drop in with the wife for a lovely peaceful easy feeling coffee and a lovely slice of cheese cake. No rushing or pushing to get you in and out. Nicely and tastefully decorated with beautifel furnishings. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

As we were visiting The Hepworth Gallery for my wife's birthday we decided to have dinner at the Moccha Cafe as her favourite food is Italian and the restaurant had favourable reviews on Tripadvisor. Sadly our dining experience was very different from those reviewed on TA. Firstly the restaurant was devoid of atmosphere - even though it was a Saturday evening there were only five other diners in the whole time we were there. Secondly the floor and furniture did not feel particularly clean and finally our various pizzas and pasta were distinctly average. The service from the sole waiter was very good, but we left feeling disappointed.

We was waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food and it wasn't too busy either only was 3/4 other tables of customers also the panini was really nice but would have been better with some chips :)

We called in here for lunch while shopping.A good menu for what is basically a largish café. We had a four seasons pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Both were a good size, freshly prepared and tasty. Not to mention very reasonably priced.The coffee is also Italian and excellent. I'd recommend this place even if all you want is a cup of coffee.

I was on the call to some of the staff and there tone of voice was despicable and how the situation was addressed was no help at all.

Great food and service! I really enjoyed the food here, top ingredients and everything is done properly with care and attention. The staff were really nice and I felt very welcome. I'll definitely be eating there again as there was so many inviting things on the menu.

How do you turn something as boring as a Ham Salad into something that excites the taste buds? Simple answer visit Mocha Cafe on Kirkgate. The chef Norbert can only be described as a magician with food. I came in on my lunch break to get a quick salad and he not only delivered me a delicious Ham Salad with sundries Tomatoes, jalapeño, Avocado and some dressing on the side I couldn’t identify but it complimented the food perfectly. The food is only matched by the price as in any other cafe/restaurant this would have cost me a small fortune but not here. The cold coffees are refreshing and a treat on theses hot days. Unfortunately I can only give this place a 5 out of 5 as this app wont let you give a place like this the 10 it truly deserves.

Birthday meal on a Wednesday evening found this place quiet but had a very nice atmosphere, liked the decorations, lighting and music. The staff were pleasant, the wine was good. Our food was very tasty, I was a little disappointed with my white pizza, think the base could have been cooked a little more and less ricotta cheese on it and only one egg. However my husbands chicken dish and my daughters mediterranean pizza were very nice. The complimentary garlic pizza and olives was delicious!

Visited here as part of a Groupon offer but was told that the employee who had arranged the Groupon stuff was no longer working for them. However they still honoured the voucher and provided us with a gorgeous meal for two. Delicious food and piping hot. Highly recommended.

My wife and I dropped in with our little one on a whim. The staff were friendly and the food was great. Very reasonably priced too. The pizza and pasta were spot on.

Gorgeous quaint little place with amazing food and grear staff. We attended as a group of 17 last Monday and they kept the restaurant open just to accommodate us. Food was fresh and we didn't wait long but more importantly it was delicious. Would highly recommend

I can't rave about this place enough from my first visit to this latest quick pop in for a coffee the service and food just keep getting better. Anton is always delight and his food always excites the tastebuds. If you are just popping in for a quick bite or grabbing a coffee I would recommend asking Anton the owner to suprise you and what he makes and brings you will not disappoint. Today I had a chicken pesto and sundries tomato Pannini and to say I was amazed is an understatement. Like I said go in here and never be disappointed even the prices are cheap compared to some places in Wakefield

Great food and very decent wine served up by people who genuinely care about you having a decent night out.It's a cafe that opens late, but with food and service and a child friendly atmosphere, it wipes the floor with the competition. 5 of us, two bottles of decent wine, desserts and a coffee barely scratched £100.Top value, good people, fine food.

Stumbled upon Moccha via trip advisor and saw it had excellent reviews. Decided to try it out and it doesn't disappoint. We ate there on the hottest day of the year so far and it was honestly like being in a quiet restaurant in the Mediterranean. I know the area isn't the Amalfi coast but with the sunshine, pleasant staff, atmospheric music and fantastic authentic food you could half imagine you were anywhere but Kirkgate! They have a small but high quality array of Italian beers along with an excellent wine selection to get your evening going nicely and the specials board has different dishes depending on what's available fresh that day. They were especially proud of the fact that everything is made fresh in house. You can really tell too.Don't overlook these hidden gems of eateries or let their locations put you off, you'll be missing out big time.This place deserves more exposure but then again, we might not get a table then!! Enjoy!

My daughter bought us a group on deal,although not the most luxurious of surroundings the meals we had were absolutely top class we were very surprised and impressed,the waitress was pleasant and attentive the meals both mains and dessert were brilliant hot tasty,well presented there is a comprehensive menu with daily specials at very reasonable prices thank you for an Excellent experience I can really recommend the Moccha Cafe to anyone

But no problem for Antonio he makes s me a gorgeous Pizza with no cheese in fact he always manages to make me somthing good and very tasty his Italian soup is so good at this time of year.whenmy daughter and her children visit they always want to go to the Moccah cafe my youngest Grandaughter enjoy s the Spaghetti Bolanase. Now the Moccah cafe is open later and does takeaway s I have ordered twice and realy grateful as I have not been able to get out because of the snow Thank you Anton to you and your very friendly staff for all your care.

Decided to call in after work for a couple of drinks had a blast as always the service was amazing and the drinks reasonable in price. Whilst we were there we decided to have a couple of hand made pizzas cooked in a woodburning stove. The pizzas were delicious and made just for us. I would certainly recommend you not making your mind up on what to order ask the chef to recommend or decide what to make and you will not be disappointed.

I visited Mochha Cafe Pizzeria with my work colleagues - just to eat pizza often and we know our food and the Pizzas here are as authentic as you get in Italy. The crust is always cooked to perfection and the taste is great. Family restaurant, with a small menu of authentic, Italian cuisine. Stone/oven baked Pizzas. Friendly service, quality and fresh produce at reasonable prices.We have visited this restaurant more than 15 times and never been disappointed. The owner is a great man. Thank you

Love this cafe...recently refurbished and looking great...Anton and team are very professional and welcoming always ready to have a chat. Food is amazing (best in town for me)very good value for money...freshly prepared and very tasty. Yesterday had Mediterranean Stuffed Peppers with Mediterranean Roasted Veg as side dish. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING....could have eaten it twice. Keep on doing what you have perfected Anton....Cheers Linda

I have seen this restaurant on trip advisor and couldn't decide what to do. We have been to others based on the reviews here and they were disappointing so kept putting it off but on 10/2/18 we decided to go as a family. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long, not sure if this was because there wasn't many customers. We ordered several starters including the mixed seafood, it was nice but the salmon was very tasty we said we would order it as a main meal. Mains we had pizzas, pastas and the Pollo E Funghi (bit oily) but very tasty, it came with chips which I'm not a lover off but these were hand cut and again very tasty. Everyone enjoyed all and it was all very nicely presented. We weren't offered a kids menu so portions might be to much for some children but as we were sharing this wasn't a problem. The Pictures on here need updating the premises are slightly different and don't remember seeing some of the food pictures on the menu. There was a just eat sticker on window.

Best pizza in wakefield hands down certainly will be using moccha from now on for my local pizzeria i highly recommend

This place has just recently begun evening dining, and it is a great place to dine; the care about the food they serve; they care about the service they offer and are so friendly and welcoming...nothing to much trouble. The food is very good, and offers a great variety. We snapped up a fantastic bargain £21 for main and starter for 2 with bottle of wine. The chef take pride in his food, and the owner brings real quality service. Extremely quiet at the moment, this place will soon be picking up. Enjoy.

Been several times for breakfast with my husband tried different things from omelette full English panini s all lovely well presented. Sunday we nipped in later had garlic creamy mushroom s and shared a pizza . Everything was lovely fresh looked lovely . Quality food for a fair price .
