We were taken to Villa Capri by friends from Warwick last night Following a warm and friendly welcome we were very taken with the comprehensive menu that made making a choice very difficult!starters of beef cannelloni were excellent and breaded veal scaloppine and clam and mussels pasta were just as good. Our friends equally enjoyed their selections The friendly staff contributed so much to the evening and I wish we were locals who could visit the restaurant more frequently! Many thanks

Had been meaning to try for years, given the reputation. Have to say the experience was overall a little disappointing. The ambiance was great, staff were friendly, and enjoyed the overall experience of the restaurant & spending time with the family on my wife’s birthday. However there were a few negatives with the food which means despite the ambiance we probably won’t be going back. 1) Chicken was dry, & you need to order veg separately. Given my wife was the only one that didn’t order pasta, she had to order greens & potatos at £5.95 each which was enough for 2-3 people. 2) Mixed seafood starter contained prawns in shells that basically disappeared by the time you removed the shells 3) The pasta with strips of beef - the beef was tough & difficult to chew I didn’t say anything at the time as it was my wife’s birthday & didn’t want to put a dampener on the evening. We were asked if it was a special occasion & we said it was my wife’s birthday, but this wasn’t recognised in any way, which I sssume was due to the fact we were in the early sitting & needed to vacate by 8:30pm (we literally finished everything bang on 8:30)

Everything we had was really tasty. We ordered about 4 starter plates to begin and then after we had eaten them we ordered 2 main course plates and 2 sides. This was a perfect amount of food for 2 and was reasonably priced for the quality. We particularly liked the cod croquettes, the wood fired sea bass and beef in Chianti. Serivce was very good and there were some nice touches - complimentary lemoncillo at the end and they allowed us to buy one glass of Chianti despite the menu stating you could only buy it by the bottle.

Our first time at this restaurant. Very definitely had the feel of Napoli and the Amalfi coast! Loved the decor with the lemon tree in the center of the restaurant and piles of cannoli sitting there, creating anticiparion for a dessert ! The menu is extensive, all of the food for our party was delicious, and the service was great. We were a party of 5 with one of our party in a wheelchair. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the restaurant is accessible. We will all be coming back again, very soon. Thanks to the whole team!

nice place, friendly and coffee and pastries very nice. pleasant staff and clean at the time of the visit. smokers can sit outside toilets - look like zillion years old and well past their sell by date - why have they not been updated?

This place has been a favourite for my family and me for years—whether it’s coffee, cakes, lunch, or dinner, it’s always exceptional. A true hidden gem we keep coming back to!

We stumbled across this cafe by chance and are so glad we did! It’s a brilliant place to stop for coffee when you’ve been running errands in town and your little one needs to be released from the pushchair and to let off some steam. Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and nice child friendly decor. Lots for kids to look at / play with. There are a few things that would’ve made the experience better which we wanted to share (as constructive criticism!) because overall we really like the place and we’d love to see it thrive 😊 - there is only one toilet / baby changing facility so there was a constant queue when we were there. Once inside, it was a lovely space though! Maybe you could put multiple change tables in there so its a communal change space? - the coffee was delicious! - we ordered a cheese sandwich for our 2 year old. It came quickly (plus point!) but was very basic and not really worth the price tag in our opinion. - we saw a fruit platter being served to another table which looked nice We will definitely be back, but as it stands we would make a point of using the change facilities in the Priors first and wouldn’t plan to feed the kids. Thanks so much to the team & I hope our feedback is helpful! See you soon :-)
