Impressed with our first visit to Carisma where five of us shared nachos and a couple of the sharing platters - I also identified some individual tapas for a future visit. Good service and it looked as if there are different eating areas

We went for my 40th birthday. There were 8 adults and 4 children. The service was excellent especially at such a nice restaurant we could worry how it would be with the young children. The food was exceptional, and they forgot one order but immediately gave us this on the house and we had plenty of sides to eat in the meantime. The surroundings and decor of the restaurant is spectacular and the way they cook the sea bass with the flames in front of the table is excellent to watch. Will be back again

Everything we had was really tasty. We ordered about 4 starter plates to begin and then after we had eaten them we ordered 2 main course plates and 2 sides. This was a perfect amount of food for 2 and was reasonably priced for the quality. We particularly liked the cod croquettes, the wood fired sea bass and beef in Chianti. Serivce was very good and there were some nice touches - complimentary lemoncillo at the end and they allowed us to buy one glass of Chianti despite the menu stating you could only buy it by the bottle.

The staff were very polite, and the food quality was a mix. The risotto was amazing, but some of the pasta options were a bit bland. Unfortunately, we experienced issues with accessibility. I called ahead to confirm that a guest in a wheelchair would be able to access the toilet and was assured it would be possible. However, upon arrival, we found there were a couple sets of stairs, making it inaccessible. This meant the guest had to go to another restaurant to use the facilities. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but the staff should be more transparent about the accessibility challenges.

nice place, friendly and coffee and pastries very nice. pleasant staff and clean at the time of the visit. smokers can sit outside toilets - look like zillion years old and well past their sell by date - why have they not been updated?

Great welcome and excellent food as always a this restaurant - the chef goes out of his way to reduce salt in a dish or amend the menu a little too!

We stumbled across this cafe by chance and are so glad we did! It’s a brilliant place to stop for coffee when you’ve been running errands in town and your little one needs to be released from the pushchair and to let off some steam. Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and nice child friendly decor. Lots for kids to look at / play with. There are a few things that would’ve made the experience better which we wanted to share (as constructive criticism!) because overall we really like the place and we’d love to see it thrive 😊 - there is only one toilet / baby changing facility so there was a constant queue when we were there. Once inside, it was a lovely space though! Maybe you could put multiple change tables in there so its a communal change space? - the coffee was delicious! - we ordered a cheese sandwich for our 2 year old. It came quickly (plus point!) but was very basic and not really worth the price tag in our opinion. - we saw a fruit platter being served to another table which looked nice We will definitely be back, but as it stands we would make a point of using the change facilities in the Priors first and wouldn’t plan to feed the kids. Thanks so much to the team & I hope our feedback is helpful! See you soon :-)
