The best restaurants serving Italian food in Taunton Deane South West

We decided quite late in the morning to go for lunch at the bistro I was a bit worried if there would be availability for us as there was seven of us but we get there at the right time and we all had a fantastic lunch some had full breakfasts some had jacket potatoes all of which was outstanding and the staff once again was amazing x

Finding good, home cooked Italian food can be a struggle in the UK, outside of London, but fortunately there are places like this that are very much worth a pilgrimage.

Midweek lunch, it was reassuringly packed, everything was prepared & cooked from fresh, so tasty, we had 3 courses, I had a Calzone made to my specific choice of ingredients,and a bottle of red, Nina was on form, the service is so good here. Will be back.

Collected a pizza to take home, superb value and quality, the food is always top class. Wellington is so fortunate to have an Italian of this quality

The atmosphere is awesome, the food is fresh and delicious, and everything is made on site from scratch, it's worth driving a thousand miles there.

I am really happy with this restaurant. Atmosphere is relaxing, its decorated well and food looks and tastes as youd imagine a top restaurant should have its food. Workers are nice, I recomend this place to everyone looking to get quality food.

Gosia was fast and friendly. She also asked the bar if I could get a iced coffee even though it’s not on the menu😁

Brilliant place, wonderful food, great atmosphere. This is a very special restaurant, serving very high quality food

Rated it well as the staff were very friendly, but in all honestly the pizzas were awful.... Probably better off finding a pizza hut or just going to the local Spar and buying a frozen one
