The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

The worst and soggiest calamari fritti I have ever had served, with overlarge salad and no dressing. Large dog carpeted the floor. Italian version of Mrs Overall waited on, in character. Huge rectangular comedy plate dwarfed the already tiny tables. My Italian relatives will not be coming here.

First visit and will be returning. Warm welcome from the host on arrival. Starters & Mains were awesome. Served by Callum who was fantastic all night. Thank you guys!

Excellent food and service, my wife and I ate here this evening, I had the Lasagna which was fabulous, one of the best I've had and my wife had a margarita pizza which had a thin base and a generous topping. Rossi offers great value for money and the service was first class, Nancy took great care of us and is very friendly and helpful!

A great place to eat the minestrone soup was fantastic and the pizza toppings were generous. Highly recommend this family run traditional Italian restaurant.

This Italian restaurant is located in the centre of Crawley. There is normally a lunchtime offer, but this did not apply on the Sunday when we visited. It has a large and pleasant interior with friendly and efficient staff. I had duck and my partner had a salmon dish, both came with vegetables. We very much enjoyed our lunch.

The atmosphere and ambiance is very inviting. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh,flavorful and filling. Great food and experience. Thank you

Had a quick lunchtime beer with burger and chips. Very good. Only a few regulars in but friendly.

There can be very few restaurants as good as this left in merry old England. Reasonably priced and no screeching music being blasted at you either. I had prawns to start which were massive and beautifully cooked. Friends had a variety, all of which were praised. I had liver and bacon done Italian-style. Perfect. Desserts were beautiful. In an era where celebrity chefs are charging a fortune for sub standard cooking, this restaurant deserves every accolade. I cannot recommend it enough. Don't wait - go now.

Great food and very attentive service we had Carbonara's and Aglio E Olio and deserts all lovely well presented some great Bellini's as well Disappointed to see 10% service charge option on bill as would have given more if this was not there
