The best restaurants serving Italian food in Tameside North West

Fabulous food once again. The waitresses are lovely. One showing concern because we hadn't been for a while. Which was nice. The fish stew is my absolute favourite. Cannot fault this restaurant.

Amazing! Always our go to for a takeaway. Great value for money, also delicious, fresh, really friendly staff. Highly recommend

One of the best pubs I've ever been in, amazing beer selection and loads of cool features inside! It's an added bonus for me they have a pool table(50p a game) The Paulaner on draft was absolutely perfect👌Stayed inside but they also have a nice little beer garden outside.

First time visiting and oh boy we were not disappointed, lovely dining area ,waiters and waitresses were so friendly and welcoming , The food was incredible and very tasty,I don't know why we haven't been here before but we will certainly be visiting again ,

Booked to celebrate my birthday with my family. Food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend and go back.

We visited Ornellas new location at freight island. As it was a bank holiday Sunday they had a day rave on at the same time (which we didn’t mind as we like the freight island events but others may want to bear in mind). They do have a location in Denton which is harder to get booked in at as it’s so popular and I can see why! The food was absolutely incredible, there wasn’t a single dish that we didn’t enjoy and we spoke to other people eating around us who said the exact same thing! The baked Conchiglioni Shells with Pumpkin Cream with added sausage as recommended by the chef was our favourite pasta dish closely followed by the creamy Truffle Mafalde. The texture and flavours of each dish were perfect! Our favourite starter/ small dish was the nduja arancini with hot honey!!! Crispy exterior, gooey cheesy centre and a spicy sweet sauce to drizzle Omg!! We shared our garlic bread with a couple next to us which in their words was the poshest garlic bread ever and they wouldn’t be wrong! We had the Nutella cheesecake to finish which was so rich and moreish! The base was a little too hard to tackle with a spoon but it was still delish! The tiramisu was also stunning! The team were all really lovely and gave some amazing recommendations too! Overall one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a long while!

Ann and Ade were the perfect hosts, and took the time to talk with us as well as serving the best Italian food. I ate the best pizza I have ever tasted! My wife had the ribs starter and a pasta main meal. Going back very soon.

ad to ask for them back to use. Food portions are a little smaller but the food was ok/nice. What really left me feeling disappointed is that I asked to purchase several gift vouchers for family for meals as Xmas gifts, the waitress seemed really pleased with this and said she would send the manager over to sort this, only for her to come back and to be told I had to pay for them by cash? I'm not sure if this is the norm or what could be a valid reason for this, but I didn't have nearly £300 in cash on me. Suffice to say they lost out on a nearly £300 purchase because they wouldn't take a card payment.

Visited 5th may. Arancini was great, steak was cooked as per request (m/r) and seasoned really well, I could have eaten it easily without sauce. Panacotta very good. My daughters burger was full of flavour. Service was on point as well..will definitely go again :)

Overpriced and rude staff, terrible atmosphere. Really trying to be a big city experience but the only thing that resembles a big city experience are the big city prices.
