I LOVE THIS PUB! As soon as you walk in, the pub wins you over instantly! Nice and cosy, great interior, looks amazing, open fire, pool table, darts board, amazing decorations, pictures, and much more. Proper character to the place. And that's before you get to the bar! Amazing selection of ales, at very good prices! Also, a brilliant selection of beers from the continent. I didn't try any of the food but did see that they have a pizza oven and do pizza over the weekends. Honestly, one of the nicest pubs I have ever been in with a great vibe to the place with ages from young to experienced drinkers 😉. I will most definitely be going back.

Really nice old style pub. Big bonus was a choice of gluten free draught beer, very reasonably priced and great taste. Definitely worth checking out.

A real gem, a true local pub with a great atmosphere and its own microbrewery. Serving amazing ale and at weekend authentic stone fired sour dough pizza, brought to youelr table by the incredible Laura. Staff are friendly and the pub is.lively without being overly loud. We are now regulars and hope that this amazing pub lives in BZ All Steve

Welcoming, local pub with a great atmosphere, wide selection of ales plus Belgian beers on tap. Good range of cider too - check out the French Revelation. Highly recommended spot.

I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!

The Harewood Arms is a charming, warm and friendly 'local' which is well stocked with different beers, lagers, ciders and craft beers in bottles/cans as well as on draught. The staff and locals are friendly and welcoming, there are real fires and a pool table as well as a wood-fired pizza oven outside on the weekend 😋

Fantastic pub. Brews own ale- Greenfield Brewery. Angela and Mark are excellent hosts and the staff are really friendly. Now and again, it's a great place to see local bands.

Love having a walk through the Valley for a couple of pints of Ale (Northern Lights) really cosy pub, especially in the winter when the weather is wet and cold outside and they have the log burner going and it's nice and toasty inside, just need to sample one of the Pizza's now.

1st time for be here, met my partner who lives near by and it’s apparently the only pub in the area em which is always a shame, but What a lovely pub, loads of different drinks to choose from and the beer garden is great. Even better they had a place outside the pub that makes fresh pizza :) and you can eat it in the beer garden. Great idea.

One of my favourite pubs, always friendly and welcoming, they have a great range of different beers to choose from.

My friend went in there last night and ordered Gold meaning cider. The bar lady mistook this for bitter. Everyone makes mistakes but told my friend its poured now and made him pay. So they lost out on him buying more drinks as he nursed a drink he didn't like but forced to buy which was not his fault. I think that is poor customer service.

We popped in after a walk in the area. We were made to feel very welcome and can't recommend this traditional pub enough. Drink choice large, atmosphere lovely, pizza amazing. Right near the train station too so very handy.

Wonderful clean frie dly pub with excellent ales

Loads of beer both cask and keg on offer at this large village pub, with some of their own beers available. Fridges full of exotic Belgian imports too. Pizza available Friday Saturday Sunday. Look out for the model railway above the bar! Pool table too.

A good local pub, with their own brewery beer, local & guest beers on offer. No food served by the pub. However... Amazing wood fired pizzas served by Tigellae from their permaneny cosy timber hut, to the side of the pub.. Fab sunken garden to sit in & devour them, in the spacious bar area or even eat your pizza with friends in their restaurant towards the back of the pub. Fri to Sun. Eat in or takeaway.

A brilliant pub for a relaxing couple or few more pints on a hot summers day yet to experience more here, they have an exceptional selection of beers and it’s really reasonably priced. it’s worth the £6.10 return train fare from Manchester Piccadilly, it’s a 2 minute walk from Broadbottom station

Fantastic place, great service, location and everyone is so nice, great pizza too, dog friendly and great for kids.

Superb quality wood-fired pizzas. Pizza dough is world class, light and tasty. Toppings are wonderful and I particularly recommend the homemade Italian sausage, both normal and spicy.

Amazing selection of beers, ale's brewed by the pub itself, also nice selection of wines. Real local pub next the train station definitely recommend. Also Friday, sat, & Sunday there's a pizza hut that do very nice authentic Italian pizzas.

Great food and beer (and whiskies), friendly staff and prices are good too.

My second visit is the last few months. The food is absolutely excellent, the best Italian food that I've had outside of Italy. As always really great service, amazing food and great wine (at a very reasonable price). Make sure you try the unique bread, like nothing I've had before. Can't wait to go on a Sunday to try the pizza.

Wow. What can I say about the Tigellae restaurant in the Harewood Arms. If you love Italy, it’s food and culture, then this is for you. Something for everyone’s budget and if you take the time to talk to the husband and wife team who put their heart and soul into their work you will not be disappointed. Fantisamo!

Pool table for 40p per game, brilliant. Real fire. Plenty of tables. Friendly atmosphere. The perfect local! Has a small Italian restaurant at the back which serves DELICIOUS home made food too.

We ended a walk at this delightful, welcoming pub. The clean & cosy interior was enhanced by 2 real fires to warm ourselves. We didn't try the food, but enjoyed the sampling a selection of reasonably priced ales.Pleasant atmosphere, dog friendly. I would say a train trip to Broadbottom would be justified, just to visit this lovely establishment.

We went here for the food, which was excellent and service was great too. If you are ever in the area and want an excellent pub and lovely food this is the place.

First visit to the Harewood and it certainly did not disappoint. Great craft beer and a wonderful Italian restaurant where the passion for authentic cooking is matched by the wonderful attentive staff. A meal to savour and an ambience rarely found. No need for background music just the gentle murmurings of happy diners. We will be back.

Visited Friday night with friends. Lovely meal and great staff who clearly love what they are doing and take time to explain all of the dishes available. So lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Thank you we will return.

Second visit in the last two months. Fantastic and authentic cuisine. Very passionate chef. Tells you all about the dishes. How they were made where they originate from. Listens to customers and will add things to the menu. Dipping sauce with dough balls and a delicious plumb tart. Can’t wait to go again. Mouthwatering. Definitely worth a visit.

I went to the Harewood Arms last night to eat at Tigellae, the Italian restaurant at the back of the pub, with my Wife. It was our 1st wedding anniversay, and Tigellae was the perfect place for us! AMAZING food, kind and friendly staff, delicious wine and great service. We can't wait to go back! Thank you Laura and Giordano, it was perfect!

We randomly choose this pub for a family meal while visiting the area for the weekend, and were super impressed by the atmosphere, the friendliness, the beers and the food. The barman was really welcoming, there was a big selection of locally brewed beers and the annexed Italian restaurant was just wonderful. The couple who run it (one Italian, one British) were so enthusiastic and ready to explain everything about each dish - it's origin, ingredients, traditions, etc. The prices were very competitive too. We had a lovely evening and were rather jealous of the locals who have a pub of this quality on their doorstep. The only downside is the parking, which is half-up/half-down on the pavement on the main road.

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The owner was very knowledgeable and was a great host. The food was authentic and was very filling. We had the Roman platter to start. Wonderful quality.

The beer is excellent and plenty of choices, I counted at least 12 draft beers. The food is just brilliant, real Italian food made with huge attention to detail.

Great pub, fabulous atmosphere and terrific food

Having read a few good reviews, I booked just to go somewhere a bit different really.

Heard that the restaurant at the Harewood Arms in Broadbottom had recently opened up again, serving Italian food, so we visited on Friday evening 29 June. We had an absolutely superb meal. The young couple who run the restaurant are pleasant and friendly. In fact, he is Italian and was able to explain the menu in as much detail as we wanted. Which was helpful, because the menu is so unlike what you find in an ordinary run-of-the-mill Italian: it offers really different and interesting traditional dishes. And the restaurant is a separate room from the pub, so a nice atmosphere for dining. An excellent experience all round.

We were so pleased that we were lucky enough to find this fine establishment. A great pub with many beers to choose from. A traditional pub with a beer garden and plenty of seating. They also have a pool table! The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. On the first night we just went for a drink and ended up having a sharing platter which was different to the norm, very Italian and delicious. The waiter talked us through the different meats on offer and nothing was too much trouble. We went back on the second evening for a meal and had another warm welcome and an authentic Italian meal made with tasty, fresh ingredients. The salmon in the pasta dish was the best I've tasted and the pesto was so yummy. We had a salad dish with it which had a variety of seeds and caramelized apple and really fresh flavours. The menu is not extensive but there is a good variety and it caters well for veggies. The desserts were soooo good. Tiramisu was very nice (nicked a bit of hubby's!) and I had Italian ice cream with espresso poured over it. The coffee flavour was A1. There are few places were you can experience food like this and served with such a passion, like they really do care that you enjoy it. The young waitress with the red hair (sorry don't know her name) was delightful and full of enthusiasm for what the food she served. What a shame we live so far away :-( If we visit this area again, we will be back.

From what i can remember 🤔 its great freindly atmosphere..now serving italian food which everyone is raving about also theres a pizza oven serving guess what? pizza from a unit at the front of the pub..want a couple of morrettis for this phil..on the house 😂

I visited on Saturday evening with my husband & one of our grandsons. I can honestly say that it was the best Italian meal I have ever had & they both concurred, it was amazing.

Good ales, brewery in cellar . Lovely cosey place . Food ( Italian) is first class. Pool table and dar board . Kids upto 8pm and dog friendly . Open fires in cold months .

I bloody love this pub! Great selection of beers from Greenmill to Paulaner. Though for the life of me I can't figure out why most of the regulars stick to Foster's with all that is on offer.😂 Great atmosphere and great staff and less than 15 minutes away on the train. Perfect.
