The best restaurants serving Italian food in South Lakeland North West

We were so happy to see pizzas back at Low Wray campsite!! It is so nice to order after a day on the water. Nomads pizzas were great about adding vegan cheese and even gave me extra olives when I asked for no red onions. Our boys ordered a sweet pizza for pudding and lived that too. The staff were lovely to our boys.

El tofu caramelizado de inspiración vietnamita, la ensalada de zanahoria y anacardos y la tarta de queso con semillas de chía y limón eran absolutamente deliciosos. Sabroso, saludable, original y muy bien presentado. La tarta de queso fue la mejor de todas. Las porciones eran enormes, lo que significaba que podíamos recalentarnos al día siguiente y disfrutar de nuevo. Su sitio web es fácil de usar y muy informativo. Su empaque es compostable y recolectan. Julia y Tim, su comida y servicio es exquisito.

Prohib is a chilled venue with a cheeky edge.. On our recent trip to Ulverston, we were treated to an evening of top notch food and drink. All accompanied by dreamy live vocals, from local artist, Hayden. Service was amazing. Henry and Billy took such great care of us all night long. Nothing was too much trouble. They were attentive, fun and, most importantly.. make a mean cocktail. We couldn’t have asked for any more. A perfect evening, so thankyou boys! To anyone after a night out at a sexy speakeasy. This place is a vibe.

Staff are really nice and chilled. The food is great. They use proper ingredients, and the food is made with care.

Wonderful place for food 3rd visit to this lovely pub for food. Excellent cuisine at all times. Great welcoming staff and happy atmosphere. Highly recommended

Looked lovely from the outside so went in for a drink at 9:42pm (Wednesday). There was a family in there drinking and playing pool. Asked for a drink, the bloke behind the bar looked up from his phone and said ‘we’ve finished serving’ we said but it says you close at 11pm tonight, he looked up again and said ‘not to tonight we don’t’ Not in the slightest bit pleasant or apologetic…won’t be going back there again!

Popped in for a quick coffee and cake. Zeferrelis is a cut above all the other cafes in town but is the most reasonable. Some of the overpriced 'chain' establishments charge an arm and a leg for mediocre coffee and bought in cake. Zeffs has an amazing pastry chef and it shows, yet the prices are the best in town

Stumbled across this little Italian restaurant after searching on trip advisor for somewhere to eat in Bowness and it didn’t disappoint. On a cold evening it was so cosy and warm. The staff were so welcoming and the food was just amazing. We will definitely return.

3rd visit... and again outstanding service and quality of food.... atmosphere good.... looked after us again ...... fillet steak and deep fried camembert to start. lovely ... see you again

First time visiting and we were very impressed. We managed to get a last minute table on a Saturday evening (highly recommend booking). The food is incredible and portions are great sizes. The service was possibly the best service we have ever received in any restaurant. Everything about this place is great, they really have attention to detail. I would say this place is a must when visiting Windermere!! Thanks for a lovely evening.

Exactly what pizza should be! Great options, fresh ingredients and speedy to the table. All of it was great but the dips were easily some of the best pizza dips we’ve ever had - had to take the leftovers home.

I had high expectations after the previous reviews. We visited at 5pm on a Friday,which was happy hour and both ordered a lasagne and a salad after about 10 minutes this arrived,there was no bread or bechamel cheese sauce,I asked about the bread and was told that ,even though on the menu,you didn't get this on the happy hour which I wasn't told before and so didn't ask about the missing sauce,that some others had.I then had dessert and I wanted the Panna cotta which I was told they had,and then didnt, as I wasn't keen on chocolate or coffee,I had biscoffi cheesecake,which tasted ok but was very thick and heavy and stuck to the spoon,I mostly left this,which noone queried and I have never done this before.I was disappointed and not sure I will return.

Visited here Saturday evening for a family meal and really enjoyed it. We all had different dishes and each one was excellent. Good pint of peroni and decent wine. Atmosphere was good and the staff polite and attentive. Will definitely be back when again visiting the area.
