The best restaurants serving Italian food in Cheshire East North West

The garlic bread was ok. The two mains were inedible and not eaten. We think the cream used on the risotto and carbonara was off. Absolutely tasteless and minging. Probably the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. Not a good way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Seriously wish we had gone elsewhere!!! Never again.

Poor service, took 30 minutes to take drinks order, and another 15 minutes to order food. The food order was wrong which we sent back and they tried to charge for it even though we had sent it back. Affrogato and coffee delivered in glass cups balanced on too small a saucer and both tipped over spilling most of contents over the table. Tired to charge for these too. Then they added a £25 tip. Busier because Cibo was closed for refurb and they couldn’t cope with the number of people. Very disappointing especially as it was a big celebration. Won’t be going back

Wow…. Worst restaurant service in 10 years… Firstly, such a shame as the food was great. We arrived 10 minutes before our table time and were seated 50 minutes after it, only after complaining twice to the host. (Felt like they gave us someone else’s table in a panic, as it wasn’t where they originally said it would be.) In the meantime. no pint glasses at the bar (seriously… so we were charged 2 x £4.70 for two half pints…! They said they would charge for pints only, and even though we reminded the team of this before brining the bill, they forgot! Service for mains was slow (busy Saturday, so perhaps forgivable on its own.). Dessert, the waiter took the order, forgot it, came back to check, then forgot to take it to the kitchen. When it did come, it wasn’t what we actually ordered! We tried to discuss with the manager and we could only find normal staff. We asked to speak to her and she was trying to keep away from the wider problems across the restaurant, including ours. We asked to speak with her again and she avoided joining us by the kitchen despite asking - she opted for a discussion in front of other customers at the table. After complaining the manager was sadly just defensive (wait for her response below…). It’s a shame really as she could have rescued the whole thing but she is clearly just inexperienced. Far too young and lacking training. Despite circa 50% discount, genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences on my life. I’d wholly recommend anywhere else but here… In essence, not enough experienced staff or a decent manager to make this place worth the recommendation. Sad times.

Visited Valentine night warmly welcomed and duly seated. The venue was nicely appointed and warm. Drink orders taken and duly arrived. A set menu for the night was the only option and items were chosen. A 3 course meal was £34:!! Plus the steak was an additional £10. The meals arrived starters very nice but the steak arrived in the centre of the plate and a side portion of chips. Not a garden pea,tomatoes or a single mushroom as all these were again extras. The steak was very tender but one undercooked. The sweet we chose the supposedly a”Tiramisu” but it arrived nothing like it at all. In fact I believe it was wrong to call it that. The only relevance to a Tiramasu was “the lady finger sponges” 3 covered in a lemon flavoured coloured cream. The waitress service was excellent very pleasant and polite young ladies. At the time we ate there were several empty tables that I am sure if prices had been reasonable would have been taken ( personal opinion)

Food was good as always, service was shocking, waited over an hour for main course, despite asking on several occasions, also had to go find staff to order our drinks, glasses had been empty for some time..eventually when I got a Manager, the food arrived within minutes. After the meal ended, the 'Manager' stated the reason for the delay is that they were busy, and these things happen.. zero ownership, zero empathy. But he would, on this occasion, remove the service charge.. I pointed out that there is never a world where I would be paying any service charge, for that shocking level of service. They then reduced the bill by 20%.. We arrived 15min before starters landed, and left 10min after deserts landed.. in all, we were there just under 3hrs. We were regulars, but won't be returning.

We made a booking and arrived at a totally empty restaurant just after lunchtime. I don’t mean like a few people, I mean it was apocalyptic EMPTY. We waited at the entrance inside for over 5 minutes, checked behind the counter, there were literally no staff around even in the kitchen. What an utter disgrace of a pizza express, sack the entire staff and reset.

Had the Tagliatelle Divalo absoulty divine, great food, great service, excellent atmosphere, cocktails where good too, although I kept to the moretti,.

Hier geweest naar aanleiding vd goede beoordelingen , kon niet harder tegenvallen. Aperol was vooral veel water en ijs , eten matig , en het was duidelijk dat de tafel nog een paar keer moest roteren .

The venue is well placed and spacious and the food was pleasant. The service made the evening disappointing. We had empty main course plates in front of us for over 40 minutes and eventually decided against a dessert. We got attention by standing and putting our coats on! It’s the first time I have asked for the gratuity on the bill to be removed. It was a shame as the place has a lot going for it.

pizza almost cold, the chicken on the stink tasted weird, not pleasant. Never come back in this store, is not the best pizza what I eat in Congleton

We have used Caprinos (Nantwich Road, Crewe) for quite a few years and have always been statisfied with the quality and delivery, and were aware that they where at the higher end regarding cost. But unfortunately tonight Saturday 5.3.2025 both our pizzas were not what we normally get. (Strange taste), Potato wedges were black in many pieces. basically a very poor meal throughout. This was a home delivery which was pretty well on time. shame the food wasn't up to scratch.
