100% excellent. Megan our waitress was extremely pleasant and efficient (management potential most definitely). First class food, lovely ambiance, highly recommend. I am not a fan of service being put on the bill as I like to reward staff personally. I hope the said service charge reaches the staff. Will return as it is one of the nicest restaurants in the region.

Table booked for 7pm. Agreed to have a drink as the table wasn't quite ready. Got the drinks at 7.15pm from a bar that was stacked with glasses waiting to be washed. Given menus at 7.30 ( still in the bar sitting at a table that hadn't been cleaned). At 8pm we decided to leave having not finished our drinks. Offered to pay for our drinks ( 1 large red wine, 1 white wine and soda, 1 non alcoholic lager and 1/2 pint of lager). We were charged £15 and told that was an £8 discount. Clearly the drinks are expensive. There was no apology. Didn't get to sample the food which was a shame as last time we went it was delicious. In summary they were clearly overbooked and or understaffed. Management needs to look at yesterday evening and see what lessons can be learnt. We are frequent visitors to family and friends in the area and I don't think either us or our family/friends will be booking at Luciano's again.

Terrible management - massively overbooked. Weren’t seated until nearly 45 mins after booking time and that’s only because we had insisted. Starters nearly 1.30 after booking and mains nearly 2 hours later. Managers sending in serving staff to apologise because they knew they were completely inadequate in terms of management of a restaurant. Toilets queues, smelly and barely any running water. Food was fine when arrived. Plenty of other better places. Never again.

Delicious pizza. However i would question the pricing policy on the beer. I paid £3.50 for half a pint of bitter. A pint of the same drink was £5.50.

Really good food let down by poor service.....

The food was very nice and tasty. The problem is there’s not much for your money . I had a rack of lamb which is meant 3 pieces of lamb and the roast potatoes was 3 bits from one potatoe wish I had taken a picture of it. My partner she had chicken and fries which was ample for her and was very nice. I had some of her fries because I’m still wondering how they could of called it a main what I had and for price it was a bit pricey been better with a few more potatoes and maybe some veg.

We celebrated our daughter’s baptism at Luciano’s and it was excellent. We had a large party and the food was outstanding and didn’t run out, despite there being some hungry mouths! Also, we had two people with allergies in our party and they catered for them superbly making special dishes. We had our own section of the restaurant but didn’t feel forgotten by staff who were continually clearing away, bringing drinks and making sure the party was perfect. The playground is exceptionally well maintained and kept the kids occupied! Thank you so much for all your hard work in making our special day so wonderful, many of our guests said they will be returning with their families!

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza. Much better than many pizzerias in Italy. Very kind staff to fulfill our requests, we had two children with us. I will definitely come back to try more.

From the minute we walked in the staff were friendly and welcoming. Very clean and great atmosphere. Food was excellent and just right amount of food. Couldn’t fault anything even the bill was lower than expected. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back.

We came from Canada for my sister's graduation, 20 or so of us had dinner here. The swordfish was so good and servers were constantly present. My whole family really enjoyed it here!

I couldn't wait to try the food here, my husband tried the Pizza with chillies (which he didn't ask for) so he couldn't eat it as chillies do harm to his hiatus hernia and they told him ,"oh it comes like that, if you want plain, you have to ask for plain".I'm,m sorry but pizza is pizza 🍕 if he wanted chillies he would have asked for chillies but he didn't. Then it came to my chicken in white wine sauce which was way too watery. As far as I'm aware, chicken in white wine sauce is thick? And even though the restaurant said he doesn't have to pay for his pizza, I still had to pay for mine and I don't believe the staff were very happy with us at all. But we won't be going back. Service charge on top of the bill was too expensive. We never got a service charge teaching high school kids and that's way harder!

Lovely Italian food. Good outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely location away from the city but not too far away.

A nice relaxed dining experience for mid week - relatively quiet, but I know at weekends it's buzzing and may not suit some people . Good authentic Italian recipes, bar area available to start your evening off with a drink and review of the menu. Overall excellent as usual.

The team at Luciano's were really good. And the singing for my 40th birthday was exceptional.

Went here for dad’s birthday and let me tell you now this was the best restaurant I’ve been to for a long time. The food was outstanding , the managers on door were friendly and welcoming , I sat in the bar waiting for family members and was immediately greeted by a staff member with menu’s to look at and a drinks order . After being escorted to my seat in the restaurant I was then greeted by a lovely young girl called Megan who was very knowledgeable and clearly knew what she was doing , then my beautiful food came out by a tall ginger lad who was unbelievably polite and constantly checked if the food was okay . Must say lucianos is employing the correct staff !!! Congrats !!

Came on Father’s Day, we hadn’t booked but this was no problem as we were accommodated and seated at a table quickly. The food and service was excellent, delicious sea bass and tiramisu, great atmosphere, busy & thriving. My mum mislaid her handbag, staff were concerned and helpful, all ended well, our thanks and apologies.

After passing this restaurant many times we decided to stop for lunch. We were very impressed by not only the decor but especially the food . It was superb , the lobster spaghetti was so good that we asked for some of it to come home with us , which was sorted in seconds Very friendly staff , quick service , exceptional food with amazing cheesecake Will defo be back

A very Happy Birthday meal. The team really made it special for us. The food is delicious, with plenty of choice on the menu. The atmosphere is vibrant but not overpowering. The restaurant and bar area are very classy. The outside area is well kept. Big car park which is needed for this popular restaurant. It's great for a special occasion or an intimate dinner. The team were certainly in good voice when singing 'Happy Birthday' to me. A lovely touch.. Thank you. See you again very soon.

As a first time visitor on Bank Holiday lunchtime, I have no complaints. Everything, and I mean everything was faultless. Lunchtime table for two as a walk in, staff welcoming, waiters and waitresses very polite, attentive. The service was fantastic. The food was superb. A starter, two mains, two desserts and a drink for less than £35 pp. Absolute spot on. We will return for a nice evening meal and a few glasses of wine without a doubt

Yeh it was OK. Went for food after a big walk. I had the pepperoni pizza which was alright... admittedly my perception of most pizzas is they are all very similar, so I'm probably not the best judge. The food did take aaaaaaggggesss to come tho,but maybe because it was a bank holiday, but it did look big enough/not full enough to cope. Some of the others said their fish was pretty dry too, as was my kids chicken goujons.

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Never been here before, we booked for a birthday meal, which turned out to be a very nice choice. All staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty. Lots of variety to choose from. Looking forward to returning.

Just really disappointed with the service, it was recommended so not sure we will return, had to wait half an hour for a desert spoon, then when we ordered coffee they totally forgot about us so it took an hour atleast .... not good

Went for our anniversary tonight and it was awful, feel like we wasted our night. We waited 45 minutes for our starters and when they finally arrived they were wrong waited another 40 minutes for our main courses and I only had lasagna, it wasn’t hot and it was dried up. My husband had beef which was tasteless and should have been roast potatoes but they were boiled potatoes. Will never go again! There seemed to be a lot of people waiting long periods of time tonight.

Excellent food, excellent venue, excellent value. My only negative comment would be that after taking us to our table, it was almost an hour before the food arrived, which made it difficult as we had a 6 month old and a 3year old with us. However the welcome was good, the staff polite and professional. I would definitely go again. The menu was very varied and the food quality excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Though my grandson said the yorkshire puddings were not as good as mine. I think he was trying to score Brownie points 😂😂😂 Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic meal,great welcoming staff and a lovely location,we were a group of 12,all meals piping hot and well presented.

We ate at Luciano last Saturday night, there was a large party of family went for a birthday. All of our guests enjoyed their meals, but nearly all had something to say about the staff. At the end of the night I just paid the bill and went home. It wasn't until the next morning when I got asked about the bill that I noticed a discretionary 10% service charge added to it, as you can guess with a party of 12 people with meals and drinks it was a good amount. I have looked at the menu and just under the allergies' information it says about this but it's not that noticeable unless you are looking for it. We were not asked if we wanted to pay this which I find unreasonable and therefore I have decided that we will not eat here again .

The food was fabulous. I got a Margherita Pizza and a salmone Giallo. The desserts were also amazing. I got an Italian Vanilla Pannacotta. The staff were very friendly. I recommend to have the salmone Giallo. I would definitely come again.

Our first visit to Luciano's at the Millstone mid afternoon and I strongly recommend you visit. Francesco was brilliant and funny, the food is excellent and the wine too. We will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Was being brought here from the age of six weeks old till ten yrs old as my late mother worked there from 1954 to early 1965.came back two weeks ago with my friend for lunch.the food was really nice.the staff very friendly and helpfull and let me reminise how millstone was when i was very young the atmosphere was nice.

We arrived at 7:20:pm, table booked for 7:30 pm, the restaurant was extremely busy, you don't mind waiting 5 or 10 minutes, but come on people 48 mins wait is a little bit Ridiculous in the extreme. When asked, I was informed that the table was being cleared and set up again, then we was informed that the diners was just paying their bill, excuse after excuse, three children in our party of eight, two wasn't all that bothered, the other was is only two yrs old. It was a special night as it was our daughters birthday and we was as celebrating. The food was excellent, and plentyful, the service was quick and the atmosphere was great, however as I say, the waiting by was a massive bug bear,you might have thought that booking 3 days in advance, that the restaurant would have made plans, but it would seem that they was a little under prepared, not enough forethought or planning. All in all I give them 4 **** I don't mind waiting but 48 minutes is way over the top !!!

Very popular venue , excellent parking facilities , very warm welcome staff are all helpful and pleasant, the food is amazing and the service is first class 😀 prices are very good value . You must book on the busy nights . Fantastic family friendly venue will most certainly be coming back very soon.

Nice place this, food was very nice. I can recommend the calzone. The garlic bread with cheese was a great start to our meal. We were well looked after and we finished off with a really nice coffee. We'll definitely be back, lovely smart decor and cozy feel with a large bar and plenty of seating in the restaurant and bar area.

Great service, nice location and restaurant. Food wasn't great though. Spaghetti bolognaise that tasted like a meat pie, ham on pizza was just cooked ham - not parma ham as on the menu. Carbonarra had gristle in, every bite, loose on its own too (not attached to chicken). We complained and was told its part of the chicken, like its normal to add the tendon. Then to top it off, a service charge of £8 for a table of 2. Usually a service charge is for big parties to be served at the same time, not for a meal for 2 to take 2 hours. We're disappointed and won't return. Try San Marino, not far from here but 10/10 for food and service.

Not just an amazing restaurant but a memorable experience. Perfect evening at Luciano’s tonight celebrating my wife’s Birthday. Maurizio is the perfect host with the rest of the house team providing a real authentic Traditional Italian family atmosphere. Each team member made our visit (and all the other guests by what we could see) feel special. The kitchen team dished up food that was absolutely flawless, both in taste and presentation. If you’ve ever been to Italy then you will know that they live for their children, they took care of our daughters making them feel just as important patrons as us paying the tab. Thank you again and we will be back soon forsure!

The starters were good , mains decent but portion small . We asked for the coffee cake dessert we had teh time before and got a weird concoction of bread covered in cream and strawberries. Paid £40 for 3 courses and 1 non alcohol drink. Prohibitively expensive.

We were with you on sat evening for the first time. The private party was a bit too loud..but once in the restaurant all was good. I have major food isues crohns but francesco was truly amazing and sorted my main meal. Everything was delicious..although there were many many waiters.no one was in your face. A wonderful restaurant for us..see you all again soonxx

A beautiful well presented restaurant, the staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The lounge area to start off the meal was a lovely setting and allowed for a relaxing drink before the meal started. The food was fresh and delicious, there was a wide variety of choice with something for everyone in our party. Overall we had a great, tasty meal and believed it offered good value for money.

Update had steak tonight and wow its truley was amazing worth every penny. Really enjoyed our visit the food was amazing even did us a pizza for our son at home. Such a great price and the server we had was lovley.

Not the best experience but certainly enjoyable. The atmosphere got quite noisy as the evening got busier, mainly due to the tiled floor and acoustics. I found the service quite mixed. Going from warm and friendly to a little standoffish, depending on the individual serving. The food was delicious. Nicely seasoned and tasty. Portion size felt about right based on the price and the type of food.

Once it the most incredible Pizzas I have had for a very long time. Super friendly and some very fun job loving staff always keeping the mood happy and cheeky :) Highly recommend and the food is decently priced for the pizzas cheaper and nice than I have purchased for home delivery.

Thursday night, place not very busy, arrived at 7pm, order taken at 7.45 first course 20 minutes later. Very poor 😢 having to wait 45 mins to have our order taken. The food was very good

Very slow service, far too noisy (definitely not a nice relaxing atmosphere), the repeated singing of happy birthday (very loudly) by the waiters became very tiresome. Food was not as good as I remembered it (very run of the mill) and I strongly object to an automatic service charge that I didn’t notice until after I got home. Will cross this one of my places to go.

It's been many years since I last came, and on visiting as a birthday treat from my better half, I can't figure out why we've not been here more regularly. Certainly something we will put right moving forwards! The food was excellent and the portions were substantial. No chance of leaving feeling hungry! Service was also excellent, being attentive and professional while also warm and friendly. The atmosphere was bubbly, as you'd expect in an Italian, but not excessively loud. Overall it was a lovely birthday treat and we both felt the price was good value at the end. Looking forward to ensuring we get there more regularly in the future!

We visited for the first time and the food was delicious. The restaurant was very quiet but this was a midweek lunchtime. The whole place looks amazing. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

Lovely experience, very attentive staff & fab food

Very nice place, great food. I really enjoyed it.

Feel good restaurants for special occasions. However the experience was less than satisfying. First of all there is blaring pop music rather than a relaxing background music. Second, the best of Chicken comes with a side of chips instead of vegetables and rice. Third the Chicken breast although had good presentation and a nice white sauce was tough and has a texture that I think was frozen and quickly cooked on high. For the price I would not recommend eating here.
