We had a lovely vegan meal here. Plenty of options for us. We settled on the vegan flank steak meal and it was delicious! Great to see somewhere non vegan putting a lot of effort into their vegan options. The cocktails were also delicious and most are vegan friendly! Highly recommend.

Booked bottomless brunch with my husband. Shown to our table by the most miserable manager ever! Table was surrounded by other tables so close I had another mans bum crack practically on my chair! I asked the manager Macbeth for another table was told none available so sat down and put up with said bum crack to my right! Food was nice drinks were lovely A booth and two other tables were left empty the whole time we were sat there! Wouldn’t go again

Gusto hosted an event for our community group in their upstairs area. The venue was lovely, and meticulously prepared for us, with our seating arrangements organised to perfection Ben was the perfect host, ensuring we had everything we had requested, and some we had forgotten! All the staff were attentive and helpful, and went out of their way to make the evening a success. Thanks Gusto - we will be back soon.

Booked a table for 3 people for a work meeting, my guests arrived and were told ' oh sorry, kitchen is closed due to problems. At no point whatsoever did anyone try to call me to let me know. Service was very slow we waited for over an hour for our main courses. Food was average at best. It was my son’s 21st birthday celebration. We gave them a cake to bring out after the meal, I had to ask 3 times for it to come out as we were fed up waiting for 40 minutes. We eventually gave up and took the cake home as the moment had be ruined. Terrible service 3 staff on for a full restaurant wasn’t good enough. A Complete waste of money.

Brilliant evening just spent in Gusto, Alderley Edge. Great food, even better price. Our lovely young waiter Jack was very attentive and also sorted out my Gusto rewards account in 5 seconds. I had spoken to Ben the manager and Harriet at customer services who had been trying to sort for over a week. Apparently I was using a very old training ap that was on my phone.

The venue in Alderley Edge has a very pleasing aesthetic. The staff were all very attentive without intruding, they were extremely helpful and friendly, wanting you to have the best experience possible whilst there. The food was cooked well and it was very flavourful. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Duck had been removed from the A la carte menu, which was a disappointment for both of us. The restaurant is child friendly and has good accessibility for any one who may be less mobile.

The restaurant was full downstairs so potentially had a good vibe. However it was so cold my wife ate with her coat on. Spoilt the evening. Upstairs was lovely and warm but that section was closed off- we did ask to move but we were told that it was not possible. Food was high quality with average service. The January offer of 50% off the price of food was appreciated. Come on Gusto on a cold night open upstairs and keep your customers warm.

Booked for one time and had to move it twice for personal reasons. Stood at the door was ignored by the staff - went to find someone and they said table wasn’t ready and go to the bar - this is a ploy to generate revenue I presume - didn’t want to do that and it doesn’t incentivise the staff to quickly prepare the table - when I said I would like to go straight to the table was told don’t know yet - with attitude I left immediately

We came for the offer of 50% off food . We had 2 mains & 2 kids meals 2 glasses of wine & 2 lemonades . The bill came to £108 with 50% off ! Apparently the deal does not include kids meals . My ravioli was 5 squares and had a very odd taste my daughter had the ragu which tasted like the pepper pot had been dropped in it . Couldn’t fault the service but the food standard was very poor and considering it was 50% off was extremely poor . I wish I’d cooked at home or gone elsewhere and paid full price as it’s was a total rip off ! You need to state clearly that kids meals do not qualify for the Jan discount . Would never go back and would not recommend

We were guests at our daughters birthday and one couple of a party of 12. The waitress was attentive, without being obtrusive, the starters and meals arrived promptly, without feeling rushed. Everyone agreed that their meals were cooked perfectly. Also a tiramisu with a candle was given to my daughter in honor of her birthday, a nice touch. The bill was divided amongst us efficiently and accurately. A very enjoyable evening.

Yet again very slow service , 1 hour and 30 minutes to wait for a burger and 2 pizzas! Sat on a table in the corner out of the way, no one came to take our order , then the long wait for the food, too busy and not enough staff . All the tables around us got their food before us even though we were there long before they had arrived. We won’t be going again, plenty of better places in Alderley with much better service. AGGRESSIVE MANAGEMENT - AVOID! if I could have put 0 here I would for the manager. Earlier today at Gusto in Alderley Edge. The behaviour of a manager, was not only unprofessional but deeply upsetting. During our visit, my partner ordered veal with white wine sauce. Upon taking one bite, he found the sauce bitter and sour, describing it as the worst thing he had ever tasted. We politely informed the manager about the issue immediately. While he offered to replace the dish, we declined as we were in a hurry and instead requested a takeaway box for my pizza. The manager’s attitude quickly turned unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. He appeared dismissive of our concerns, which we found highly inappropriate and unrepresentative of Gusto’s standards. His demeanour was immature and seemed deliberately aimed at making us uncomfortable. As we waited for the bill, the manager stood with two female staff members nearby, gossiping in a manner that was clearly intended to intimidate us. To our surprise, the diners at the table next to us leaned over to express that the manager “wasn’t happy” that we did not like the food. This affirmed that our calm and respectful feedback had been mishandled. When the bill was finally brought, we noticed the veal remained on it. I respectfully asked for its removal, explaining that the dish was inedible due to the sour and unpleasant taste of the sauce. I didn't dispute the service charge and £1 donation at this time. Rather than addressing this matter professionally, the manager raised his voice, dismissively claiming that it was “not his problem” if we did not like the food. He argued that because my partner had taken one bite, the dish could not be considered inedible. When I asked if the manager had tried the sauce himself to understand our concern, he abruptly snatched the receipt from my partner’s hand in an aggressive and highly unprofessional manner. While he reluctantly agreed to remove the veal from the bill, he continued to act inappropriately, shouting at us, “Don’t bother rushing back.” I was deeply embarrassed and humiliated by this interaction. I was shocked to be treated so disrespectfully and aggressively in what is meant to be a professional dining establishment. When I asked for his full name and his manager’s details, the manager was evasive and reluctant to provide this information. He finally gave a name and an email address of his manager (which surprise surprise has bounced back as non existent). At this stage we felt too uncomfortable to ask for the service charged to be removed,due to the manager’s aggressive demeanour. We paid for everything except the veal and intentionally left the untouched pizza in its box on the table after paying, as we were astonished and disheartened by the way we had just been treated. I trust that Gusto takes such matters seriously. I am requesting a full investigation into this incident and that appropriate action be taken, including consideration of whether this individual is fit to represent your brand in any capacity.

Disgraceful Waiter and Bad Food Quick lunch ruined by the ridiculous behavior of the waiter, who said his name is Ben, and the Manager. We were polite from the start, but Ben’s attitude was disgraceful. When I calmly mentioned the dish wasn’t to my liking, he raised his voice and acted like a child. His behavior was not just unprofessional it was pathetic. We gave Ben every chance to handle things properly, but he got defensive and spoke to my wife in a completely unacceptable way. If she hadn’t calmly put him in his place, things could have escalated. I stayed calm, as I always do, but it was hard not to remind this weird waiter of some basic manners. The food? Inedible. The veal came with a sauce so tart it tasted like apple cider vinegar, and one bite gave me an upset stomach. Avoid this place unless you want to eat bad food and be insulted by a geek pretending to be a waiter.

We had booked to take our parents out for a Christmas meal. We chose the festive menu. Two starters were OK, the smoked salmon plentiful and the dill cream very nice. The mushroom bruscetta was dry, the toast was hard. The main courses arrived on cold plates and the food ranged from absolutely cold (chilled) to warm, not hot at all. The waiter was excellent and quickly took the plates away and arranged replacements. These arrived after a while and although the plates were tepid, the food still wasn't hot (worrying) and not pleasant at all. We spoke to the manager and the main courses were refunded. We didn't stay for dessert or coffee. We still ended up paying £85 for a bottle of prosecco and 4 starters. A waste of money. A very disappointing treat for our elderly parents who struggle to get out. Sadly, our Christmas treat was ruined.

Food was brilliant, lots of good choices. For a starter, main, dessert and drink we spent about £38 each. Service was a little slow towards the end of the night, but it seems this is a common thing nowadays. We had very friendly staff. The restaurant was decorated lovely - modern and cosy - with nice music too. Shame we got unlucky as there was a group of about 18 teenage boys being very loud and shouting throughout the evening.

We’re visiting from South Yorkshire for work purposes. And honestly we can say absolutely everything about our experience was A grade. The best of the best. The food was astounding. We had creamy mushrooms and bruschetta for starter and they were both great, but the mushrooms were otherworldly, a Ragu and Arrabiatta for mains and both were astounding. For dessert we had a bombolini with salted caramel ice cream and pistachio crème brûlée. Again both astounding. Whilst the food was all amazing by far the best part of our visit was the incredible service from Vicky. There’s nothing better than someone who is great at their job. Refreshing to have someone so.

Went for an organised company meal. For a 3-course set meal for almost 40 people, the service was organised and very welcoming. The food was beyond what I personally expected it being a set meal. Drink prices were decent as well, considering it was in Alderley Edge. We have dined hear several times this year along with getting takeout and the food is always very good we dine with a large party of 25 and the food always arrives at the same time, hot and delicious. The service is always outstanding and Emily and Jess always go the extra mile. We have used the upstairs restaurant for meetings and the space and set up is great. Most recently went to their Christmas showcase and can’t wait to come in for Christmas lunch. We can’t recommend this place enough fab for work meetings and meals

Very expensive for pretty poor quality food. My lasagne was tasteless and like a watery tomato pasta soup - nearly no meat at all. The salad was a few leaves and about 15 cheese shavings on top. My partner's seafood risotto was so salty she couldn't finish it and she usually loves salty food! When we asked for the bill they tried to cheat us by adding 4 other food items and drink items below the things we did eat. They also added a charity donation sneakily tucked away as if it was another food item - Who does that? Trying to sneak extra charges in! And that's not to mention the extortionate service charge automatically added to the bill. I will definitely tell my friendship groups and family about the bad experience and recommend they find something better!

Nice restaurant. Very quiet as it was Tuesday night and pouring with rain. Staff friendly and helpful. Pan fried salmon was delicious as was the garlic bread with cheese. My son had Carbonarra and it was huge. Found they do offers mid week if you subscribe. Maybe if you were a regular worth checking out. The platinum club it was called.

Booked a surprise 50th birthday party at Gusto in Alderley and it was amazing, the whole team were so helpful and professional, they were so accommodating and took control of the event to ensure all our guests were happy. Food was incredible and the service from the team especially Vicky and Emily was above and beyond. I could not recommend this venue highly enough

First time visiting. Sadly service was very slow when it didn't appear very busy. Half way through dinner my husband actually got up and went to the bar to order himself another drink as no waiter to be seen and the bill at the end we requested 3 times and must of waited about 20 minutes. I never season my food, don't do salt but I had to on the pasta as it needed something! Shame really as I'd wanted to visit for a while and finally got the opportunity and was left disappointed.

Three of us went last night. We enjoyed great staff & fab food in a really nice environment. Frankie served us last night and she was super friendly and very efficient. Credit must go to the management, as their staff and the environment is always fantastic. The cherry on top is their Platinum card (think it cost £65 pa) where Sun- Thu, you get 40% off the food. The restaurant isn’t cheap but it’s decent value for the food, staff and experience, Take 40% off the food though and it’s outstanding value! Thanks again Gusto for looking after us so well and we’ll see you soon ;-)

Service was slow and be prepared for the bill to have a 10% service charge and 1 pound donation to something. Not a fan of places that do this but the ambience was nice and the food and drinks were delicious. Will go back and give them another try.

Meh, so slooooooow. After hearing about the hype, I was really disappointed. The menu was, in my opinion, limited. Our first choice of main was sold out, at 7:30pm, hardly late for a Saturday evening. The suggested alternative a seafood risotto took approximately 45 mins and when it came it was saltier than the Dead Sea. The waiting staff were lovely, but too few and rushed off their feet.

Visited Valentine night warmly welcomed and duly seated. The venue was nicely appointed and warm. Drink orders taken and duly arrived. A set menu for the night was the only option and items were chosen. A 3 course meal was £34:!! Plus the steak was an additional £10. The meals arrived starters very nice but the steak arrived in the centre of the plate and a side portion of chips. Not a garden pea,tomatoes or a single mushroom as all these were again extras. The steak was very tender but one undercooked. The sweet we chose the supposedly a”Tiramisu” but it arrived nothing like it at all. In fact I believe it was wrong to call it that. The only relevance to a Tiramasu was “the lady finger sponges” 3 covered in a lemon flavoured coloured cream. The waitress service was excellent very pleasant and polite young ladies. At the time we ate there were several empty tables that I am sure if prices had been reasonable would have been taken ( personal opinion)

I went for lunch to celebrate my son’s 2nd birthday, and I was absolutely disgusted with the service. Despite my son clearly wearing a birthday badge, not a single staff member wished him a happy birthday. The staff were rude and miserable, and when I raised my concerns with the manager, I was shocked by their response: “They don’t understand English.” I left feeling incredibly upset. I would not recommend this place at all. If you’re considering visiting, go to the Wilmslow location instead, they’re much friendlier.
