The best restaurants serving Italian food in Beacon and Bents South Tyneside North East

This is my 2nd visit to this wonderful restaurant. 1st time was at a family wedding reception and today for a family birthday celebration and I can't wait to go back! The decor is beautiful the place is immaculate. The food is absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection, the portion sizes are fab. The management and staff are all very welcoming and so friendly, they all work together as a great team. They are also very knowledgeable about food content and allergies. I would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all concerned. Xx

It's a really lovely Italian restaurant, cosy and nicely decorated, staff very friendly and attentive, food was excellent and presented well ,on my list to go again. Well done to the chef and all the staff 👏

Below average restaurant, Below average food and the manager is rude and obnoxious with no people skills and no idea how to run a business. A positive though is the other waiting staff who were lovely but who seemed scared by the managers bossiness. Such a shame. Needs a new manager to make this place more personable and improve the food.

My Wife and I were visiting Family and decided to stay overnight in an hotel. . The hotel didn't cater for meals, but provided a leaflet listing local restaurants. . From this we chose Italianish, and we were Very pleased with that we did. The atmosphere was Family Friendly, the Staff were Very Friendly & attentive. . And to top it All. . The Food was cooked to perfection. If I could give them More than 5 Stars I Would. . If you are Ever in South Shields and want a nice Relaxing meal. . I Can wholeheartedly recommend Italianish.

I bought chips and kebab meat with 3 garlic sauces Only one came so missing 2. Its first timevits happened lost out on £1.60

Came in for a work meeting. service was excellent, especially by Liam. Food was quality. Would recommend highly, as it’s so warming inside

A party of 20 for a special birthday family celebration. Booked in advance. Sent orders in advance. What a shambles. Service was slow and poor, food came out with long periods between each diners meal resulting in some sitting for ages waiting for their food whilst others finished theirs. . Food was awful except pizzas and garlic breads and salad. Manager was uncooperative when discussing issues. When food was sent back it was recooked not replaced. Atmosphere was flat. Not recommended.

We had a few drinks in this fairly basic pub and ordered up a doggy sausage for our canine companion. Lots of water for pooches. We sat at a table out back in the sun and enjoyed the early evening sunshine after a long walk around the coast. We’d been in a different pub earlier in the afternoon and four similar drinks here came in at a competitive price yet the other place was full and this one quite empty. The staff were pleasant and they took credit card payment. We would return.

Great Sunday Cavery; Good price and lots of food... the two meat meal was good value. Great Bar staff as well and very helpfull

Had a fantastic dinner.The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing, best meal we have had in a while! Lovely atmosphere, would recommend.
