The best restaurants serving Italian food in Barnet London

We went for a late lunch on Sunday, around 4pm. They were great! I love going to an Italian restaurant where people are authentic Italians that speak Italian among themselves. We discovered a gem in Finchley! Food was great and fast service. Lovely! We will comeback!

You're looking for genuine italian cuisine with fresh products, fresh tomatoes, herbs e tutti quanti, good wines from nero d'avola to brunello di Montalcino, with all the time to enjoy your meal, served by nice and friendly people, including the boss Paulo, and that all for a fair price in a restaurant that doesn't look like a cantina though welcoming and affordable? Well, this is the place you have to go with whoever you like, whoever you feel good with, whoever you want to please with a good table in a friendly atmosphere. Don't hesitate to go alone either, you'll enjoy the dishes as well as the service. And the prices I mention are for a menu antepasti, main course, dessert and after dinner alcohol/liquor

For years this was myself and my wife’s favourite Italian restaurant in all of London. We have been going consistently for approximately 5 years. The last few times we went, we noticed the quality had declined. It took 3 visits for us to verify that it wasn’t “just a bad night” as any establishment may experience. The Paccheri Con Zucchini, Salsiccia E Burrata used to be my wife’s favourite pasta dish EVER. But unfortunately they have now changed this completely. I can only assume that there is a new chef. It is really disappointing and i hope they manage to turn it round to its former glory. The pizza’s are still good but have suffered cost cutting measures. One last thing, they need to do something about the draft in the restaurant. There are two doors at the entrance, one is permanently open and the second doesn’t close properly. This has resulted in cool air running through, forcing many customers having to wear coats.This should be an easy fix by fitting spring in front of door.

La comida era buena. No estoy contento de que uno de los miembros del personal nos siguiera filmando o tomando fotos de todos en el restaurante. Nunca pidieron su consentimiento y algunos de nosotros no queremos que nos enyesen la cara en Internet. Eso arruinó la experiencia.

Fuimos recomendados por un amigo y este pequeño, acogedor, íntimo y muy amable restaurante italiano que sirve platos clásicos regionales italianos es simplemente increíble. El servicio es excelente y cada plato una obra maestra de sabores y gustos. Hemos visitado para la cena 3 veces en el último mes y seguiremos volviendo por más. Es realmente un lugar especial apoyado por muchos clientes habituales. Si disfrutas del vino con tu comida puedes traer el tuyo propio y no hay cargo por descorche. Un elemento que no está en el menú que tenía y probablemente fue el mejor que he comido es su milanesa de ternera servida con espagueti boloñesa. También hacen un Pollo (Pollo) milanés y el camarero dijo que se puede tener cualquiera con cualquier opción de pasta. Toda la comida llegó caliente y se puede saborear la pasión que tienen por cocinar en la comida. No puedo culpar a este lugar y le daría 10 estrellas si pudiera. Es solo una joya oculta

I have been to this cafe many times as I'm vegan and very little other choice. So the food mostly is really nice home made. But it is overpriced for what it is. The pizza and carrot cake are amazing if they are not stale. £5.00 for a slice of cake that isn't fresh is too much and £10 for a burger (average) without the £4. Fries. The service is very slow and the owner makes you feel like she is doing you a favour to make your order. I waited 20 minutes for a juice when I was the only person in the restaurant. Inside it isn't very neat and tidy. The front is OK but use the toilet and you will see the mess. It's such a shame because I would use so much more if these issues were fixed.

I ordered the beef lasagne, which was delicious—perfectly cooked I visited ASK Italian in Finchley on 21st February and had a fantastic dining experience, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Klea. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, ensuring everything was just right throughout my meal. I ordered the beef lasagne, which was delicious—perfectly cooked with rich flavours—but what truly stood out was Klea’s professionalism and hospitality. She was efficient, checked in at just the right moments, and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Great food is always important, but excellent service makes all the difference, and Klea certainly made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be returning and hope to be served by her again!

Tarde malcriada por un grupo de tres invitados que hablaban muy alto jurando ! ! luego en sus teléfonos mientras FaceTiming contenido grosero sin importar una presa sobre los demás , no puede entender por qué el restaurante les ofreció una bebida en la casa cuando era obvio que otros comensales y el personal solo quería que se fueran , todos en la sala Garden literalmente dieron un suspiro de alivio cuando se fueron ! ! ! Sin embargo, la comida era deliciosa y el personal era todo encantador, tal pena que a un pequeño grupo se les permitió echar a perder lo que debería haber sido una encantadora comida de domingo por la noche.
