The best restaurants serving Italian food in London

UNETHICAL LIARS. We booked for a family birthday, with several people taking time off work to be able to attend. We were promised that the Lunch Set Menu would be available to us. Two days before the booking we called to advise we needed a highchair and we asked to confirm the set menu. We were told that because we were a party of 8 we couldn't have it - but if we were a party of 6 we could. What bollocks. They are clearly just using the set menu to entice bookings only to force people onto the vastly more expensive main menu. When did they plan on telling us? When we arrived and it would be too late to book a different restaurant? Your dishonesty has lead to us cancelling. We used to like the River Cafe but wont be returning and we will be advising everyone in our network to avoid it.

Everything wrong about standardized uninspiring and bland food. Added to the excessive price.

El peor CARBONARA Si puedo llamarlo así, lo he tenido. Gino habla sobre cómo no se deben cambiar las recetas cuando se cocina comida italiana, pero esto es lo que sirve en sus restaurantes. También fui a Camden uno para cenar y gastamos 100. Polenta sin sal. Pizza, tarta de castañas y café estaban bien. Pero esta comida para llevar en Fleet Street definitivamente arruinó mi almuerzo. Chicken Gorgonzola se ve exactamente igual a Carbonara, nunca ha visto queso Gorgonzola con solo un par de piezas de pollo baratas. En Carbonara no hay carne, solo dos pedazos de grasa, sin huevo y pasta están literalmente nadando en la crema. Albóndigas también, sin tomate y la carne era gris. La forma de la pasta siempre es la misma, no hay forma de elegir y ni siquiera preguntan. Insípido y horrible. Además, las cosas parecen zombis. El tipo que llama cuando la pasta está lista y el gerente muy amable. Después de hoy, nunca volveré. Guido's on Chancery es mucho, mucho, mucho mejor. Al menos la carbonara está hecha con huevo.

Compramos una pizza cada uno para llevar y comer al lado del Támesis. Diez de cada diez. Pizzas encantadoras. Y a un precio muy razonable. Volveremos.

2 arancinos no comestibles y 2 cafés pequeños por £ 20. 60 . Debe ser bueno a esos precios ridículos, ¿verdad? ¡Mal! El café apenas era tibia y esos arancini eran simplemente asquerosos, los peores de todos los tiempos. Los dejó en el plato y le dijo al personal por qué antes de irse. ¡Solo YUK! Desperdicio total de dinero.

El muffin que pedí estaba tan seco que no pude comerlo y fue reemplazado a petición mía por un buen pastel. Mi hija pidió el croque monsieur que también estaba seco. Cuando me quejé me dijeron ‘“No lo logré””, habría sido agradable que me hubieran ofrecido una disculpa.

Lovely tasting pizzas. But service was poor. Waiters can barely speak English. Also place is so hot. No fans. But the pizzas were delicious

Excelente servicio. Tuvimos el cumpleaños de nuestra hija aquí y nos ayudaron con todas nuestras peticiones, incluso con un niño con alergia a los frutos secos, fueron extremadamente útiles.

An absolute find! Great cocktails, lush food, great service

I had the worst experience @la Roma. First I have ordered veg pizza and they gave mixed of non veg pizza where we don’t non veg pizza and when I have told them they are arguing with us with very rude manner. They don’t know how to treat the customers. Then we have ordered veg pizza and they gave the pizza which is in the attached. There is no veg in the pizza. When we asked them they replied as if you want take the pizza or leave it. They are not ready to respect the customer. Very very bad experience from la Roma. Worst worst worst

the dinner was cold, old ham und flavored with hair's, unfriendly service have a look at the "antipasti" - looks like meat from the supermarket.
