The food was really bad and the staff lied about food and menu . I’ll never come back to this bad place again. Don’t waste your money to make this business richer 👎👎👎

Good morning, I happen to visit Westfield branch on Saturday the 16th of November 2024. Better say, I intended to. I was spoken to by manager in an extremely rude and arrogant manner, he called me "body" and asked me to wait at the front as if I'm 5 years old boy. Also, I was told "we are short of staff". His colleague did not do any better he called me "my friend" and told me that "we are not ready for a new customers for another hour". For both of you as follows: I'm not your body, I'm not your friend or mate. I'm highly educated with doctorate and OBE. And I'm a gold member and a customer since 1998. Your behavior and service is appalling and if you cannot take a pressure of job in hospitality, move on. I will never visit this branch ever nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. You represent a big successful chain but it seems like you do not really care. You put shame on all of your colleagues and the company. You two are disgraceful. Dr R W Pacak OBE

We went there for my son’s birthday and I asked one of their staff members if it was ok to eat his birthday cake there after we had finished with dinner. This was confirmed to be ok and they even prepared the cake with the candles lit. Suddenly another staff member came to us abruptly talking with such a stressful tone of voice that the cake has nuts in it and so cannot be eaten on their premises or he could lose his job. Obviously we don’t want to be there anymore and went to pay and leave however we wanted to use a discount code see had but they were not aware of the fact that the discount applies and we had to explain it to them until they understood and accepted. What kind of customer service is this …? It’s bad enough you messed up our birthday mood but didn’t even want to accept the discount code. If you spoil customer experience then really you should provide discount as a good gesture/conciliation. Pizzas are too salty and greasy not worth the price. The location itself is not comfortable.

It may be the time when the place was a quarter full, and everything was sleepy, but toilet-wise, it wasn't amazing. The waiter didn't come to check if everything was okay, we asked for tap water, they didn't bring it, and only when we asked again did they bring it. When we asked to pack the remaining food, they brought us a cardboard box from the restaurant, intended for deliveries and placed it on the table, that is, we had to put the salad in the box by ourselves, and then ask for a bag. The feeling of not wanting to make an effort. We are not spoiled but it felt like there was no effort at all. Other than that, the food is very tasty.

Went there with my 3 children. The food was horrible!!!! I ordered the chicken Cesar salad. You could get better salad going to Tescos! The guy who took our order was so miserable looking that it made me feeling I shouldn’t be there because I was somehow ruining his day. When I asked for my children’s dessert they brought us brownies that were cold and rock hard. On the menu it said it came with strawberries and icing sugar. The woman just cut a tiny brownie in half chucked it on the plate and that’s it. Paid £45 for the worst meal we ever had. Never again!

Bit of a disappointment. Can’t really comment on food. Booked a table for 1330. Running late so tried to call ahead to let them know. No one picked up. When we got there at 1340 there was a long queue to be seated and it was almost 1350 by the time we got to the front. It was clear from the staff reaction that the table had never been available for us so we left. Don’t think they were really coping and/or the booking system had failed. They apologised but there was no real explanation

Went there 5pm they were not taking any new tables. Went there 8:30 pm same day they were not taking any new tables. Refused service twice in a single day all while the restaurant was not even half full.

Really wanted cannelloni but they turned me away as they were “short staffed”, although around 80% of their searing was available. On a Monday at 2pm. I tried booking online which showed a table available at 3pm but the online booking didn’t work! I went back to ask if they could book it in person and they said no, only online (although it was broken). Should be better managed.

15 minute wait when their was clear tables the staff took their time and did not bother to do a check back on the food the waiter was rude and didn’t even ask to say if we had any allergy’s didn’t repeat the order back after taking it he told me to choose something else from the menu when I asked what I wanted, we pacifically asked for are drinks such as just water which we waited around 10 mins for the drinks but also when they gave us our drinks the waiter slammed it on the table and walked off and didn’t give us any glasses for it either but got out starter first instead I noticed the staff behind the kitchen wasn’t wearing gloves or head nets also mopping the floors whilst food was waiting out the waiter left the food sitting their for 5 mins and just looking at it before giving it too us which it was cold when we got it my food was unedible it was like green slop also when leaving the restaurant they didn’t even say anything either.

Ive mainly been eating at Zizzi for the past 10 years as I felt that the quality of the pizzas at Pizza Express had gone down. I saw the advert for the £1 second pizza and thought I’d give the restaurant a try. I was flabbergasted at the taste of the pizza - it really was fantastic and so much better than Zizzi has been of late. The service was also quick and friendly, very happy!

As a vegetarian, I was looking for recommendations, and Sahil was extremely helpful in suggesting the best vegetarian pizzas. The pizza was delicious, and his attention to detail really stood out. He also helped us make the most of some great offers, which made the meal even better! Overall, the service was friendly, attentive, and made our visit much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place, especially with Sahil's assistance!

We were served by Suleiman on a busy Saturday during summer. They accommodated us very well considering they were so busy, even giving us a table when we had booked for the wrong time. Great service.

Visited as a treat for my teen daughter. Food was lovely, only complaint was the waiter. Had no interest in speaking to us, from the moment he stood at the table . Barely said what would you like, no eye contact, no smile nothing. Brought food over and when I was still eating took my daughter’s finished plate which I find quite rude. He then hovered over me while paying I presume to see if I would tip. Which was a resounding no which is not my norm. A smile and jolly demeanour would go a long way.

No Salad at a pizza express I like no paper in an exam hall, what’s even the point of coming to this place but thank god for our server Juliet who recommended a really nice 3 course meal for us to enjoy as a family, nobody else really helped us especially management working on Saturday but Juliet really made our day special.

It's terrible, the dough is very thin and burnt, the filling is only tomato sauce, there is almost no cheese. It's not tasty! About the service: we sat outside, my husband went to order a pizza, the employee said that in order for them to bring plates and serve, we need to sit inside (but there was a long line at the entrance, despite the fact that there were many free tables), but we can take it away and sit in the area outside where we were, we agreed to this option, ordered a pizza, which had to wait 20 minutes. So we sat in that area and waited, and when the pizza was ready, the employee told us that we cannot sit and eat in that area, because it is closed now 🤷‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ And we had to go down to the footcourt area and look for a free table . So we wasted a lot of time just eating terrible pizza. I do not recommend this place.

HORRIBLE . First of all; the staff was kind of rude? We didn’t get served at first and had to wait at least 20 minutes to get the check after we finished eating. And the food? what the heck was that? The salad didn’t had half of the ingredients that were on the list, also it just was really nasty, and for £ 16 ? That was worse than the meal deal salads. The pizza was ok, not the best for that price. Atleast it was accurate to the list… If I could, I’d give it a zero stars. Last day in London ruined. Do better :)

I ordered through Uber eats a vegan pizza and received real cheese. It’s a shame because I ate in a restaurant recently and it was great but after this experience I’ll never come back

This store and staff are by far the worst I've encountered, went for meal , poor service from onset. Then charged twice no one was bothered and said wifi issues will get refunded in few days?? I did point out transaction went through but waiter ignored and did twice no receipts and manager didn't care either , went back after week to speak to them as still no return of funds , Manager Taylor blamed wifi said they have issue all time, again fobbed off with a email address and his name and said it will show in few days or if not come back or email we sort! Well no surprise nothing returned again! So emailed no reply or acknowledgement! Went back again asked for Taylor staff said he walking about Westfield? I said call him they went off some time later another man came and said what you want with Taylor I explained he said oh I know we can't help take this email and ask.them???!! I was utterly shocked at his behaviour as he laughed and wasn't bothered! I explained and again he then said what proof you have? I has shown everything to Taylor and on day it happened reported immediately? Where is the incident logs for this store? He was so nor bothered. And then said we don't have this problem? Then why did Taylor say it happened all the time ans they raised with headoffice? I was give the customer experience email, which was even more pathetic explained all to them and the same questions! Surely they would check the branch not AGAIN ask me. They are useless and have no care . I won't be returned. Your managers at Westfield are not trained in positive customer experience or how to deal with customers.

I have to say I worked there for a few years and never use the pizza express until last year I've been disappointed with pizza express overall but this one you actually get a decent pizza nice and hot and actually looks like they put toppings on not shredded bits of chili now it's my only priority to use this one because the standards are a lot better

Very tasty food. We had some new dough balls which were extremely tasty. My partner's pizza was very oily but mine was perfect. The chilli oil wasn't spicy tho... (UPDATE): I emailed them on the 9th July as they requested in the response to my complaint and they ignored that too. Seems to be a trend with this place. We were sat down, we waited 10 mins, politely tried to get the waiters attention, when I finally did he was annoyed and looked at me rudely then carried on for a while and didn't come back so we got up and left. I won't return. Happened 5th July at 12:45 pm in case management want to investigate this.

We originally booked Las Iguanas but they were so short staffed they couldn’t serve us in time for our visit to Abba Voyage despite having 1.5hrs to spare. The whole centre is difficult to navigate but when I arrived and explained our situation to Lewis at Pizza Express; he was so friendly and kind and promised to serve us in time. Lewis was a fabulous ambassador for the brand, so attentive to everything from drinks to food orders. We were 2 couples, each wanting different things. He kept an eye on our drinks, helped us with directions and suggested food. Lewis was engaging with all 4 of us. We all honestly felt we had never been served better, hence the 5* review. He was even really grateful for the tip. We listened to him at other tables and he was the same with everyone. Fabulous visit and the food was great too. Pizza Express, this man should really be a manager if he isn’t already. He should definitely get a bonus anyway!

Horrible service (great food) but we constantly had to ask for the bill and when we eventually got it, the man did not put the right amounts on the card (we were paying separately) and accused us of not paying enough, even though he was the one that made the error and would not own up to it. We also had to wait over 30 minutes for a pizza and when we tried to get the staff’s attention we would get ignored

Honestly appalled at the service my family and I have just received. Waited outside for about 10 minutes, no worries, except we were completely ignored. The staff were just avoiding eye contact, didn’t communicate a waiting time and were just rude in general. Again once we were sat we were waiting for a further 10-15 minutes with absolutely no communication once again, no one to take our order. When the server went to take another tables order first, i asked him how long it would take as we would just end up going somewhere else. He ignored my question and waved his hand to me, walked over and asked what we wanted, with no apology for the lack of communication. Been there for years and usually they are great, but the past 3 or 4 months i’ve gone home feeling like i’ve wasted my money, and like the staff just don’t care.

We had dinner here yesterday (with my son and his group of friends). This is not our first time to dine here. Unfortunately on this visit, the service of the food was toooo slow. We had to follow up several times for our orders. What’s worse, the service staff seems to be very tired and grumpy. One even sighed loudly while talking to us. A BIG Shout out to Mr. Elion who was the only one smiling and willing to be of service to our table. Quick and accommodating he was. He deserves to be acknowledged (and promoted). Thank you and Keep it up! Food - same consistent Pizza Express 👍🏼 But hopefully, the overall service will be always consistent, whatever day or time the customers dine.

The service was the worst I have ever experienced out of all the restaurants I have been to.We asked for water 4 times and the food itself took more than 1 hour.It wasn’t even worth the wait because the food was horrendous.For your own good never go to this place there are better restaurants if you go down the escalator.I hoped I could give zero stars maybe even negative.

Overview: High street chain restaurant known for serving pizzas, dough balls and italian food. Pros✅: The service was great! Our waiter was very attentive, kind and served us very well. Everything was freshly made as our dishes were served piping hot. Great atmosphere as we went on a weeknight so wasn’t that busy. They also offered us garlic or chilli oil which was a nice addition. Cons❌: Pizza express is expensive and I wouldn’t go unless there is some sort of deal e.g. on the app there was a deal for £9 for a classic pizza and we also had a free side as well. The pizza crust was slightly burnt which was unfortunate and also some of the calamari rings had some burnt breadcrumbs. Recommended dishes: 🍕 Romana pizzas 🧀 Halloumi bites 🍞 Loaded dough balls

Poor service, people complaining and a 'team' of staff being supported by two or three hard workers who were themselves clearly getting annoyed. For 2 adults and 1 child, we paid £63 for average food which was served by an incredibly miserable server who virtually threw the child's pizza onto the table, whilst starters were still clearly being eaten. Our table was still not cleared 10 minutes after finishing our mains, despite a couple of staff doing very little (other than desperately trying not to make eye contact). Generally very poor service and if this is what an early Friday afternoon is like, I dread to think what happens at the weekend. A disappointing hour or so in the middle of a 2 day trip to London. Genuinely wish we'd have gone elsewhere.

Totally disappointed… being vegetarian, I always have ordered giardinera with xtra jalapeños. First time, came without parsley. Second time without onions. As I was dining in…was easily corrected. Today (30/5/24)…. I had a takeaway polo ad astra and giardinera. ONIONS AND PARSLEY MISSING!! £ 14…a proper pizza was expected. When you try calling them….phone is never answered.

After a great experience at the Pizza Express Shepherd's Bush, we wanted to try this location at the Westfield White City. However, this experience was the complete opposite. After arriving, we waited at the "Wait here to be seated" sign - only to be completely ignored by the women behind the bar. Another waiter coming out of the restaurant area went to join that woman - also ignoring us. After waiting for 2-3 minutes without any reaction from the working staff that clearly noticed us, we sat down at an available table near the front bar. One minute later, some other person comes to the table to only tell us that they're closing down that area. And off he went again. No offer to be seated anywhere else. No word about whether all tables are taken and to please come at another time. Nothing. Just, that he doesn't want us sitting there and that's it. Mind you, this was around 8pm with the location open for another 2 hours. After this experience, we left and went to a different restaurant. This location won't see us ever again.

First of all, when we entered the restaurant, the waiter who greeted and seated us at our table was not very welcoming and even though the whole place almost empty, he made us sit at one of the smallest table but we changed it later. We ordered pizza and dough balls. Dough balls were ok but pizza definitely didn’t live up to its value. It was like supermarket pizza. As far as I can see from the comments, there are a lot of similar complaints about the waiters.

They made us queue for 15 mins first then told us to book which was 45 mins later. After I waited 1 hour to be seated, we showed up to be told they have closed the kitchen. They said they have cancelled all bookings yet nobody had cancelled our booking. Wasted an hour of my time with no remorse and full of lies.

Such a disappointing experience today - 4th May at Pizza Express in Westfield. Service and attention was simply not good enough. After being seated, it took such a long time to get the attention of the waiter to take our order. Other people seated after us - their orders were taken straight away whilst we waited for ours to be taken…. We waited over an hour and ten mins for our pizzas to come. It’s was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant also. When I voiced my concerns I was told the chefs were struggling with the amount of orders. If that was the case, I would have much rather have been turned away and told you were fully booked rather than wait that ridiculous amount of time. So disappointing as expect so much more from Pizza Express. Will not return.

I recently visited Pizza Express at Westfield White City with high hopes of enjoying some delicious Dough Balls, courtesy of a free code. However, my experience quickly turned sour due to the disrespectful and humiliating treatment I received from the manager. Upon presenting my valid code, instead of checking it as per the terms and conditions, the manager, who seemed more interested in changing light bulbs than assisting customers, insisted that I couldn't redeem my free Dough Balls without dining in and purchasing a meal. Despite my attempts to explain the terms and conditions, the manager's dismissive attitude and refusal to acknowledge them left me feeling belittled and disrespected. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic customer service exhibited by the manager. It was evident that he made assumptions about me and my friend based on our appearance, disregarding our loyalty as regular customers. Feeling humiliated and unappreciated, I left Pizza Express feeling utterly disappointed. Thankfully, the nearby Pizza Express across the street restored my faith in the brand by treating me with respect, validating my code, and providing the Dough Balls without any hassle. In conclusion, my experience at Pizza Express, Westfield White City, was marred by the manager's rude behavior and refusal to honor a valid offer. I will not be returning to this location and would caution others against expecting respectful treatment or adherence to company policies.

A bit of a mixed review. The food was excellent and we couldn’t find a fault with it, however the serviced we received was extremely poor. We had to ask 3 times for our drinks to be brought out (the starters and mains arrived before the drinks). Then had to ask for clean cutlery and napkins. We then had to ask twice for the bill to be brought out and a further two times for the card machine to be brought over so we could pay. I appreciate it is a busy Saturday lunchtime however service this bad should never be acceptable. I believe the waitresses name was Sandra however it was multiple members of the team who let us down. (Table 92, 13:15 booking).

Worst Pizza Express! Somehow they were unable to cook pasta correctly. Most of their drinks were out of stock and there was no apology about it. Service was unbelievably slow and bad. We were given an awful table even though the restaurant was empty. Honestly regret not going to the Nando’s next door!

Ive been here on a Sunday it took almost an hour to get the order. Secondly, this is the worst pizza I had in London. The dough was like super market pizza you get for £2. Don’t waste your money!

We were looking for a place to eat pizza as it was a Sunday and the mall was closed with most shops so we decided to eat at pizza express. Never have I thought it would be the worst decision, staff are just so impolite, no one greets you with a smile nothing, we sit down looking at menu and when we get to order staff was just so rushed for no reason, when we got the drinks to our table the staff said they didn’t have my partners drink , so my partner asked what else do they have and the staff said everything else🤨, so rude and not even trying to offer any drinks. The pizza was okay but I’ve had better, the pizza tasted too much of the pickled peppers and it ruined the whole taste . When we wanted the bill, we waited so much and I’ve asked a lady can we please pay and she said yes and walked away, waited another 5-7 min , when the same guys who bought our food came with the card reader, he didn’t even say thank you after we’ve paid he just left running again not even a thank you, what kind of service is this ????I understand it was in its closing mode but Jesus Christ please don’t bother coming here it will make you feel not welcome at all.

We went their yesterday as a family for a birthday celebration and a bottle of soave (wine) was added to our bill along with venezlana fund which we didn't order. Our group does not drink alcohol and we would never have ordered this. I want a refund for something I didn't even order. Please check your receipts I have tried to contact you and left three messages with my phone number. No answer just an answering machine. How can I contact you to speak to you. I have also written a complaint to the complaint s team. Again no response apart from a generic email.

.**Absolutely Horrible Experience** Having frequented Pizza Express in the past, I decided to book a table for my daughter's birthday, anticipating a smooth experience for our party of more than six. However, upon arrival, despite being early, we were met with disorganised service and a delayed table. We stood waiting despite 4 staff members hovering by the bar and 2 other staff members walking past me a few times. Eventually I approached them, to which they said my table wasn't ready. We continued to wait. Even after being seated, we were left unattended for extended periods more than once. Again... I went and requested for someone to take our order! We had the most unbothered, uninterested waiter who just seemed fed up(it was early afternoon btw). I informed the staff that I had bought a cake and if they could accommodate us... our requests for service, including for our cake, were met with an unbothered attitude that I couldn't understand considering that we had seen them organise the same thing for another party 5 minutes prior. To add to the frustration, essential items were missing from our order, and no one bothered to rectify the situation unless we told them. When it came time to cut the cake, we were left to do it ourselves, amidst comments about keeping the area clear for the staff's convenience even though the space we were given to sit was not suitable for our party size. Feeling more like a burden than customers, we swiftly paid and left. Unlikely to return to this Pizza Express. Maybe re training is required on how to treat customers especially when dining with children.
