Día lluvioso durante medio semestre. . . ¡qué hacer! ? ? ¡Estoy tan contenta de haber decidido llevar a los niños a almorzar a Strada! Todos lo pasamos de maravilla, el servicio fue excelente: amable y atento que nos hizo sentir bienvenidos desde el principio y la comida era absolutamente deliciosa (no te pierdas la pasta con salmón en la lista de "especialidades"!).

Best stopover on a Monday Evening. Food was great and ambience superb. Good pizza. Service with a smile. Monday night £5 pizza made the dinner a 'must visit again soon' occasion.

He estado entrar a Strada en Parsons Green una vez a la semana para comer durante muchos años. Nunca estoy decepcionado con el personal, la calidad de la pizza (o otros platos italianos, pero normalmente tienen la pizza) pero el trato acogedor.

He visitado muchos restaurantes strada a lo largo de los años y tienen normalmente una comida estupenda y el servicio, en esta ocasión en el lugar verde sólo puede Parson describir nuestra experiencia como horrible, el servicio era inexistente y las pizzas que pedimos parecía haber disminuido a la mitad del tamaño de la placa que nos sirven. A cap cosas hicieron un terrible error con nuestra cuenta 30 minutos a resolver. Siento decir que no volveré aquí de nuevo. Es muy evidente que el lugar está siendo mal administrado o debería decir nacía.

He vivido en la zona durante 4 años y hemos ido a Strada probablemente 30 veces o más durante ese período. Siempre fue amable, estupendo para niños y ofrecieron pizzas muy sabroso. El restaurante está cerrado por un corto período por razones desconocidas y ha abierto recientemente.

Falta un montón de cosas del menú, mi carbonara venía con la pasta mal porque estaban fuera de eso también! Marisco marisco linguini tenía muy poco. Pedí más chili, conseguimos una pieza de chile y nos cobraron £1! ! Muchos restaurantes buenos en Parsons Green, no hay necesidad de ir allí de nuevo.

Mi marido y yo hemos vivido en Parsons Green, Fulham durante más de 30 años. Hemos visitado Strada como pareja y con amigos numerosas veces. Fue especialmente bueno cuando Marianne era el director. Sin embargo, estábamos en nuestro camino a casa esta noche y pensamos visitar Strada esperaba el mismo servicio y comida de buena calidad.

extremely slow service waited almost an hour for olives & bread !!! food was average, over cooked fish & cold chips, not great value.

Amazing food will be returning! service was very slow had to remind the waitress few times for drinks ordered and condements which was frustrating. With this said she was friendly and apologitic.

we went for breakfast, which was lovely. We stayed for over two hours and no one rushed us out which was great. Service could have been a little more attentive, and had to ask for a clean cup when tea cups came to us dirty. overall good brunch experience.

A little disorganised seating us when we arrived. Waited quite a while for anyone to serve us - had to ask someone for drinks. When the waitress did arrive, she was very friendly. The food was good, good for a pub but not by restaurant standards. Service was slow and inattentive all through the evening. The setting and ambience is chilled and we enjoyed it. It's local so we like and will be back it but wouldn't come from far and wide to try it.

The food was good in quality quantity and presentation and the waitress (Bethany) was most efficient and courteous

As my mother is a vegatarian she is always difficult to please and finds some vegetarian food bland as was the case today also swimming in grease as she puts it. I had sALad but unfortunately the cabbage was old and not fresh as for the pak choi you could not see it.

We went there with 5 adults and a baby. The food was excellent. The entrees we ordered varied from spaghetti seafood linguine to pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

The service and food were excellent. The toilets were kept very clean and well stocked.

We had a lovely roast dinner at the Artichoke and I would highly recommend it. The service was prompt and efficient and the food was very tasty. It's a lovely setting and we had a great table looking out over the green. A perfect Sunday lunch!

This was my first visit after being recommended to eat here. The food was STUNNING and so well presented. One of the best Sunday Roasts I've ever had at a restaurant. The dessert I had (creme brulee) was a disappointment however, it has raspberries in which wasn't stated on the menu, and it said it came with Shortbread, but it came with a different crunchie biscuit thing. However, the rest of the food was so great I wouldn't hesitate to come again!

The Artichoke is a great venue for meeting friends or a quiet evening dining out , both catered for by friendly efficient staff with a pleasant ambience . The varied menu caters for all tastes and diets ! Definitely recommend to friends and relatives !

I have been here in the last 12 months a few times. a bit disappointed as we thought our table was in the main area to absorb the ambience. I was a bit late and the client asked to have some place to talk but this was when we went through a few formalities. when we asked to move to the main area the restaurant persona was short and not what I had expected in the past. after all the food was collected i made the comment that the black pepoer salad was hot - he mentioned spicy. i said it was not the spice but the "chilli - hotness" which was not stated. so i was not very happy.

Really nice place to eat with friends. The only problem here is that it becomes very loud when the restaurant is full.

My food was ok. My friend's was dry. Poor choices for dessert. Very expensive for what it was. Even a glass of wine was overpriced compared with other local venues.

My friend and I had a Sunday lunch last week. The waitress who took care of our table was very friendly and the rest of the staff too. The location is amazing and the food delicious. I will return to Artichokes very soon.

Amazing place! Would Reccomended to everyone. Service was brilliant even though they had a large party, me and my boyfriend still had excellent service and didn't feel like they were too busy to serve us. The staff were lovely and friendly and they even gave us a complementary drink as it was my boyfriends birthday. The atmosphere in the pub is lovely and cosy. Would defientaley visit again and even looking to bring family here for a meal next time s the food was great! The Nutella gnocchi was delicious.

Poor experience on Saturday evening. short staffed and dirty tables and floors. took friends as had a nice Sunday lunch the week before. will not be returning as very poor choice of food and service.

Part of a chain, offering no more than average food. You need to go to Wimsey's next door for a grown-up restaurant.

The service was appalling. Our table was booked for 19.45 and our order was taken at 20.35, we had to find a member of staff to ask to order, we just felt we were left all evening. Had to get up and ask for the bill 3 times. Very disppointed...

I have been a regular here but stopped going when the heating failed last winter. I thought I would try again only to find the heating has not been repaired and now the coffee machine is broken. I love the food and the staff are very attentive but sadly I will have to desert them until they bother to repair things. Luckily there is another Italian restaurant almost next door so they will continue to get my custom. My friendship are local have all said they will not be going to this restaurant

Same old menu - bit stale now. I had the Haloumi stack, which was just stodge on a plate, could be so much better

Have been here a number of times previously in the evening - but not in the last 6 months. Took the family this time for a birthday treat at 5.30pm. Poor service. Food definitely not of the quality I remember it. Maybe they were just having a bad day - but if I have another experience like that I won't be returning.

Good service with a friendly style. It was only a light lunch so unable to comment on the capabilities of the chef but the relaxed style suggests that the team were confident in the food and in what they could do. We will go again and check it out more fully - look forward to it.

Highly recommend good quality food at reasonable prices, very helpful staff I require a gluten free diet, not down to choice, but necessity; and although they don't have a gluten free menu they made every effort to find me something suitable to eat off the main menu which ended up been delicious. We were dining with a toddler and they do kids meals and have high chairs that pull right up to the table which is always helpful. They also have a separate baby changing room for parents.

The service was good, the food was fine & would have been a nice evening with my cousin except for the horrendous noise from the large birthday party we were sat next to. The several very small children screamed & ran around until we left at around 9.30pm. Maybe it would be a good idea to sit large family parties together in one area of the restaurant & small adult tables elsewhere. However, I will go back.

Couple of dishes were sold out and when the food came 2/3 of food wasn't hot. They took back to the kitchen and obviously zapped it in the microwave! Disappointed that they didn't even offer us free coffee as an apology - costs them pence but nice gesture. Waiter was lovely and very apologetic.

I was out with a group of friends for the evening, I had the Haddock and Gruyere omelette which was overcooked and quite bland. You could see this just by looking at it, I ate it as I was in company with friends that I had not seen for a while so I was not prepared to make a fuss about it and I had not eaten since breakfast. This really should have been a simple dish to cook, I visit the pub regularly, it is lovely there and the staff are nice but I would not order that dish again based on this experience and I do feel I should have complained and sent the food back had the circumstances been different.

The pub was busy. Starters were ordered at 805 and arrived at 830 which was ok. Mains arrived at 940 having been chased up by me. No drinks served at table we had to go to the bar 3xs. No communication from any staff from removing starters to brining mains Pub continued to allow walk ins to be served food in garden and kitchen obviously could not cope! Spoke to staff who just said sorry but we are busy and sent email to pub that remains unanswered.

Thankfully found Strada after getting off one bus stop too late. Monday night deal of 2 pizzas for £10. Staff all lovely and very welcoming. Food was great! Unfortunately we didn't get another chance to eat there - but it's on the list for next time. Thanks again!

Service was brilliant but food very ordinary - disappointing.

The Artichoke is always a lovely venue but when the sun is out the garden tables are glorious. Food is reliably good, better than you might expect from an 'out of town' restaurant and suited to the price point of the locals who frequent it loyally.

Good was lovely, pub was really busy then went very quiet, didn't matter as I was with 5 friends and we were busy chatting. However service was really poor. Our waitress clearly didn't want to be there, didn't say a word, walked away twice when we were in the middle of ordering, and when food arrived they looked very confused and seemed reluctant to put the plates in front of us! Most odd, and a real shame for a great pub.

Good service, good food as I expected being a fairly regular lunch lady at The Artichoke.

This is the only pub in the Croxley area that I would take anyone to. The food is good, it&#039;s comfortable, the service is good and I can usually park without a problem - which is high on my list of important points. <br /><br />I had a piece of char on this visit which was perfectly cooked and had a crispy skin that so many people seem to like. Nothing would persuade me to eat fish skin, but that&#039;s just my taste.<br /><br />I would also, and have done so, recommend The Artichoke for breakfast.

Had prawn cocktail, prawns tasteless , 4 of us had fish and chips, fish crispy but again tasteless , presumably frozen cod, for 12.95 expensive for bland main part of meal. Ice-cream good but order served wrongly, was rectified.

Me and 5 friends had a fabulous evening, service was attentive and friendly and food was all first class. Very good value for money restaurant with a great atmosphere, would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal in a lovely pub.

I took my mum for brunch at the artichoke the other day for her birthday. I ordered 2 glasses of prosecco and the lady who served us asked if it was a special occasion. I told her it was mums birthday and she gave us the prosecco on the house, which I thought was a lovely gesture

This used to be my favourite, but the food now seems concentrated on more fast food-type dishes. Fillet steak has gone. The menu seems bitty, bring back the old format which was always excellent. Staff need more formal training, rather than &quot;what can I get you&quot; to make it feel that it is an occasion. For the money it should feel more upmarket.

I just popped in to grab some food with me and I have to admit it was a good choice. Staff were very nice with me and the food was tasty.

Menu options for a fish- eating vegetarian was exceptionally interesting and lived up to expectation. Service was as friendly and efficient as ever. Always a good ambience and a pleasurable experience. Disabled access not ideal in historic building but help readily available.

Menu is hard to read for older eyes! Bubble and Squeak is back as croquettes but still tasty! Very good menu choice.

Food was above average although portion size is smaller than it was previously <br /><br />Service was terrible, and had to ask repeatedly for wine glasses , drinks etc<br /><br />Bill came with an additional bottle of wine we had not ordered and had to ask for it to be removed<br /><br />This place needs some work to bring it up to their previous high standards <br /><br />Beers also need freshening up. Serving Peroni and becks in a gastro pub is poor and some decent cask ales would be far better IMO

Meeting old friends that we had not seen for nearly nine months. We had eaten here before on a Sunday lunchtime but had no idea what the evening would be like. As it turned out, we had a lovely evening. The food was very enjoyable, service was excellent and good atmosphere. Would definitely return

Nice evening in a cosy, warm country pub on a cold winter evening! Hearty food left us satisfied and full. A good place to go mid week or at weekends.

We went with family for a Saturday lunch - we had pre-booked and got a lovely table inside in a very bright spot. Service was great throughout and the food was fab - everyone on the table felt they had a lovely afternoon and it&#039;s definitely a place we will keep going back to.

A fast and tasty three courses served very efficiently have to agree with one of the previous reviews the gents toilet needs a new lock on the door and the urinal was out of action lets down what otherwise is a nice friendly Resturant

Visited the restaurant last week with friends. Quite busy for midweek and the staff were outstanding. One of our group was lactose intolerant. With the main menu came a description of all dishes that were suitable for him. NOthing seemed to be too much trouble. Two of us had the salmon, which was absolutely delicious. One had the fish and chips, which was enormous and the &#039;difficult&#039; member of our group had the lamb. All of us voted to come back again as there were other items on the menu that we would like to taste. All in all, a great evening

Took various grandchildren here twice within 10 days. First time, food was okayish, service enthusiastic, children welcome, loos unacceptable. Water cascading through ceiling of one. When told about it the waitress said they knew and were "waiting for the man to come". (Q. Bucket?) Returned today. Food poor, water STILL dripping through ceiling of loo, and it smelt horrible. The place was crammed with families with small children, and the service is still kind and enthusiastic, but the pizzas aren't good.

Really good as chain restaurants go, very good food &amp; service and not expensive, menu offers a really good selection, always something to tempt.....

Ambience was comfortable and friendly, didnt feel rushed or pushed when ordering. Good vegetarian options and choices of portion sizes. Lads serving were cheerful and approachable. Food arrived at a good pace and did not feel as if we were being rushed out once finished. Was told that it could be pricey for what you get, I disagree and will definitely come back again.

Second time I have had Sunday lunch at the Artichoke and it won&#039;t be the last. Good selection of food including a vegetarian option with all the trimmings, all diners finished every morsal of the sizable portions and are still raving about the delicious beef. Looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent service and really good food for our meal last night. Our waitress Lucy was really good.

My daughter was going downstairs to the loo when the heavy fire door closed on her finger. Her finger was broken and she had to have an operation. We filled out a form and were told that this has happened twice before to children. It was the staff/managements attitude that was a disgrace. There was no call from management to see how she was, I went in three times to speak to someone to ensure the door gets fixed. Every time I was told there was no one in to talk to and that I should come back another time. We eventually got a number of someone in management, I left three message and never heard from her or anyone else!!

We were warmly greeted and enjoyed friendly and attentive service throughout the evening. We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and were delighted to be presented with 2 glasses of champagne. The food we chose from the menu was presented beautifully and tasted fabulous - in particular, the fillet steak was possibly the best I&#039;ve ever had…cooked to perfection. The portions sizes were perfect - not huge plates overloaded with massive amounts of foods, but just the right amount and carefully and thoughtfully presented dishes. The setting was candlelit and the ambience was calm and relaxing in a homely way. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and look forward to going again.

Very disappointed very poor menu choice! No lunchtime sandwiches/ snack! Ordered skin on chips which had no skin and we&#039;re just like mc Donald&#039;s chips! Sweet potatoe chips soggy! Quiche was served just warm! Very expensive for small portions and poor menu choice! <br />Such a shame as food used to be lovely with lovely lunch menu!

Visited here today with my daughter. Welcomed and great service, used my club-card voucher as well. Food was great even my 10 year told the restaurant we would be coming back to visit again.

My husband and I were very disappointed with The Artichoke, the fist table we were sat at my husband asked if we could be moved as he felt as though he was in the way of the high volume of staff that were squeezing to get past our table to the kitchen. The next table we were sat at was in a much better position. Then the food came, I had what was meant to be gnocchi but it was totally overlooked, there was not bite to it and it was &quot;sloppy&quot;. <br /><br />I have contacted the artichoke directly, I had a response saying they were looking in to it but have not heard back since.

We went there last Sunday for lunch and it was just perfect.Really enjoyed our roast dinner and the staff were very friendly.It was so good I rang to book another table with some other friends.

Sat outside for a relaxed lunch on a sunny August afternoon. Service very attentive and the menu was interesting and unusual. The new chef very keen to see us enjoy his food and came out a couple of times after delivering the main himself. Highly recommended.

Had lovely meal &amp; very good service. However we were slightly put off as for the duration of our meal, two guys were massaging various parts of each others bodies at the bar!!! Very strange.<br />No rush for us to pay &amp; leave which is a pleasant change these days. All staff very friendly &amp; helpful &amp; very smiley!

We have been to the Artichoke quite a number of times and enjoyed our experience but on our last visit the service was all over the place, items we ordered did not turn up and we had to chase for them, one dish in particular was so unpleasant my husband had to discuss it with the staff. It seems there is a new chef. The portions were smaller than previously and the new menu was not , in our opinion, an improvement. We have now crossed this restaurant on our list - such a shame.

I would not go back to this pub the food quality and value for money was shocking. Shame as it is local for me. I ordered a quinoa tomatoe and black bean salad it was tiny and £15?!!! Other friends I dined with also commented when we left on how poor the food was and we all agreed we wouldn&#039;t go back. Artisan breads I think are falsely advertised!

Super location, beautiful decor and ambience, great, friendly staff, and food served of an excellent standard. Really lovely place for a special occasion, or evening out with friends. Dining tables feel private, plenty of room and great outdoor space for summer evenings. Can&#039;t beat it!
