The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I love this pizza express so much i come here all the time. The service is amazing and the quality of food is even better. I definitely recommend 10/10 days experience always

The staff were fabulous and our food was delicious. We had starters, mains and puddings which was all great and it was nice to choose some new items from the festive options! Our waitress was lovely and helped us use our Tesco vouchers as part payment. I would recommend a visit here for a birthday/Xmas get together.

Very good service, great location, beautiful restaurant and great food

Enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner here with my family. Despite the busy Saturday night crowd, the atmosphere remained welcoming, and we had a fantastic time! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made us feel right at home. A special thanks to Roberto for the amazing service - for the incredible tiramisu and the lovely complimentary non-alcoholic aperitif – such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!

Food amazing and Gio was the best!

delivery time kept changing, but nevertheless the order was very nice and tasty but not exactly piping hot.

The pizza wasn’t cooked properly it was cold and doughy

Took my family for tea here the other night and was very impressed the food was delicious and the waiter serving us named Shane could not of been more helpful and attentive deffo reccomend

Awful! Don’t bother with Oadby. Pizza came 25mins late, despite being midweek and order being placed well in advance of requested delivery time. Pizza was dry and cold, when contacted staff are not helpful, not apologetic nor really that bothered! No manager available. Nor a call back, despite promised - as mentioned in another review below. Seems a poorly managed branch. Have had much better papa johns pizza elsewhere.

Excellent service. I used the Pizza Express app, which enabled me to use some rewards (every bit of saving money helps these days 😊)

Ed was amazing! Great with my baby and he made sure my partner had the best time for his birthday. Really friendly and made sure everything was okay with our food, which it was. Shout out to the chefs! Thank you for such a lovely evening :)

We looked for an Italian restaurant that was reasonably priced in that area, stopped here and we’re glad that we did. The waitress that greeted us was extremely friendly and found us a table even though we didn’t book ahead of time. The two pizzas arrived really quickly and were great. I would’ve given it five stars, but the edges were a little burnt in places and the crusts are one of my favourite part to eat, so I had to leave a few on the plate. Still, we liked it there and we’ll go back.

The evening was a special birthday for my husband - booked on line in good time - seated next to kitchen door - constantly opening then moved next to toilet door - the goats cheese salad consisted of plain salad from bag no dressing just a splodge of some sort of gel tasteless - the sauvingon blanc was so bad had to mix with water and to be fair the sea bass was quite nice but not at time of ordering suggest some sides ie potatoes or vegetables half way through main course - the staff tried their best but would recommend cutting the covers down as felt uncomfortable - when we eat out we really do not like to complain as it makes an atmosphere and really in hind sight should have said something at the time - and we did nearly go elsewhere but waitress said i have a nice table for you but was next to the toilet / bathroom disappointed will not be returning
