La Fenice in Camden

Reserved a table for the Monday evening, had an email reminder on the Sunday....it was closed when we arrived the following day. Very poor.

La Fenice is lovely inside, and the service was excellent. However, the food was average. I had an excellent starter of arancini balls, and my cocktail was nice, but being honest, the main courses didn't scream anything exciting to me. I wasn't disappointed as such, but with all the places in London to eat, I wouldn't rush back.

They messed up our reservation. They told us that we had to come In for 19.00 . As they overbooked and we had to leave by 20.30. The waitress rushed our orders and food. And let’s talk about the food. The starter meat ball, well the meatballs were dry and hard. The pizzas were extra salty and had no flavour. The bill was £400 not worth the money the food and service was very disappointing. I would not recommend it and I would never go again. Very disappointed

Overall enjoyed my experience here! The vibe is definitely more upscale, had a live performer while we were there. Overall satisfied with the food, but nothing mind blowing. For the price just wish the portions were a bit bigger. The cocktails on the other hand were good, but quite strong

It seemed lovely, nice atmosphere. Ordered wine and water, nothing arrived. Then we’re told 2 starters and 1 main not available - fair enough, we ordered 2 pizzas and a fish main. 10mins later the waitress came back to say they’d run out of tomato sauce and cheese so couldn’t make any pizzas! In an Italian restaurant. We left at that point.

Siamo andati in questo ristorante attirati dalle ottime recensioni e dalle foto. La pizza molto invitante e gustosa abbiamo optato anche per della pasta e della carne. Una cacio e pepe che tutto sapeva fuorché di cacio, cottura giusta per entrambe ma sapori da rivedere completamente. Bellissimi cocktail, arancini tremendi dal sapore disgustoso. Nel complesso il locale è molto carino ma il servizio è troppo sbrigativo in 40 minuti abbiamo mangiato dall’antipasto al dolce. Si notava la fretta dei camerieri di liberare il posto e questo mi è piaciuto poco. PREZZI FOLLI su antipasti, cocktail, AMARI e dolci il resto nella norma

Had an unexpected visit with a friend to this restaurant which was lively with a great atmosphere. The staff were authentic and very friendly. The food was very good and the deserts were to die for - no doubt with a lot of calories.

Amazing meal. Just amazing. Hidden gem. Highly recommend. Food was cooked to perfection. The lamb shank and roast potatoes in particular to die for. Hidden away but easy to get to. Would go again and it’s all halal too. Win win !

Initially only booked as were visiting the theatre that night and Italians closer to Victoria area were all filled up and found this as a closer to the hotel alternative. Upon walking up to it on a quiet street and not much happening outside I was starting to worry we were working into some dead empty restaurant, but could not be more wrong. Stepped inside to an excellent atmosphere and decor. The staff were brilliant and helpful, food and drink was excellent, Well worth the visit and only a short walk from euston station so easily reachable.

La Fenice is a beautiful restaurant, tucked away off Drummond Street and less than 5 minutes' walk from Warren Street tube station. It's a rare find to come across an Italian restaurant that serves halal food (alcohol is on the menu by the way). Most Italian restaurants have limited choices for a halal diet. I visited La Fenice with a friend who is a big fan of Italian food and holidays in Italy every year (Sorrento mostly). Seeing as he has been exposed to a lot of authentic Italian cuisine, he was highly impressed and cited the Beef Ragu as his favourite. We ordered the Bruschetta, Burrata & Cherry Tomatoes, Beef Ragu, Creme Brulee and Pistachio Tiramisu. Every dish was outstanding and I constantly think about the Burrata which was the creamiest one I've ever tried. Service is impeccable and staff are highly knowledgeable with recommendations. The ambience is perfect with beautiful decor. You get the whole package with La Fenice (the premises of which used to be an old pub) whether it's a meal with friends, a date night or a treat with family. I cannot wait to revisit La Fenice and have recommended it to my friends.

Amazing food and excellent service. Would highly recommend their lamb chop and pizzas! And end the night/day with the pistachio tiramisu 😍

It really is the new place to be in London! Great food and vibes, you will not regret it. Try the creme Brûlée 😉

Had the best time here with my family and friends, the staff were amazing, the food was some of the best I've had. I love Italian, the food was spectacular, the prices were great, very affordable. I couldn't recomend this place highly enough, do pay a visit if in the city. Thanks to the amazing staff once again.
