Lovely little find was completely empty when we arrived (albeit, quite early for dinner). Orders were taken promptly, and all staff were courteous and friendly. We ordered calamari, tiella, margarita verace and linguine alla puttanesca. Everything was delicious, the tiella was lukewarm when it arrived, but very tasty. Margarita was lush, olives were missing from puttanesca, but it was delicious still. Aperol spritz was almost better than that I've had in Roma! Great little hidden gem.

Tourist Trap - Feels like a scam. The pizza is okay, but unfortunately that's where it ends. The service was very taciturn, the lunch menu (14.99) was only available after two requests. The salad was just a plate of greens, no tomatoes, no decoration, no dressing - NOTHING. Coffee, even though it says “Any Coffee” at the exit, there was only a single espresso. Neither espresso, flat white or anything else was available. At the end there was still 3.75 for a small bottle of water on the bill and a 12.5% ​​service charge. It could be good, but unfortunately instead of lunch it only leaves a bland aftertaste.

Went here after a day out in Camden whilst on holiday here. Lovely food, dont be put off by the sometimes empty restaurant though because the food is amazing! Really enjoyed, thank you ☺️

I am not italian but I would risk to say it is authentic italian. Just bought takeaway but personal is very friendly, atmosphere nice and cozy. I orderes a capricciosa, the dough is great, soft, right thickness (thin), chewy (but not too much), nice neutral flavour, natural ingredients, artichokes give a special flavour. Having italian staff and commensals sends a signalnof being authentic.

Service wasn't the fastest, but we weren't on the run. Friendly and pleasant. The food was great, as we expected from an Italian restaurant. All around good, only recommended.

Visited rossopomodoro this weekend. They had the best pizza & pasta. If you like Italian cuisine then this is the place you need visit. The ambience is aesthetic , the service they provide is amicable & the food is the best of all. I truly recommend this place

I was given the kids menu and the kids portion and the food was awful.

Good pizzeria in the Camden area. They have different packages for different occasions (from lunch to aperitif). The pizza is good and we recommend accompanying it with the "aperitif" menu to add two cocktails to the mixed starter at the same price as the starter alone.

Great pizza as always and at all other Rossopomodoro restaurants.

I recently dined at Rossopomodoro and had an amazing experience. The Neapolitan pizza is authentic, with a perfectly soft, slightly charred crust, just as it should be. The fresh ingredients—San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella di bufala, and basil—made every bite delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The menu offers a great selection of classic Italian dishes beyond just pizza, and everything we tried was full of flavor. If you’re looking for a true taste of Naples, Rossopomodoro is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Very Good service and they get straight to the point. Food. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants and this one is one of the best. Not too busy and they are very quick. The pizza is amazing and they are authentic too. I would eat there again whenever possible

I ordered spaghetti, the taste was okay. But the kids pizza was not worth the money, just only flour. Check your bills carefully. A waitress gave me overpriced bill at first. She went to change it when I asked, but did not apologize to the customer. Won't go back again.

Best italian in the heart of Camden

14/09/2024 : 15h30 Before eating here, read my experience. I wished I have read the latest reviews, tbh. 1) Extremely slow service: the restaurant was only 20% full, still we had to wait 45mins to get 1 pizza and 1 panuozzo (which takes almost no time to make). Excuse was: "everyone asked for pizzas instead of pastas. " 2) Asked for a Panuozzo. Parma ham and tomatoes were the real thing. But Cheese on Panuozzo was not mozzarella fior di latte. Had a conversation with manager and pizzaiolo (pizza chef) which both showed a an orange grated solid cheese and advised me this is what they get from the factory. oh well... (check the menu vs. photo attached and take your conclusions) 3) Aperolz spritz was extremely pale, but well done. Portion of aperolz was probably half or ⅔ of what normally is done elsewhere :( 4) The waiter (slim lady with black hair in her 40's) used no words, no 'welcome', nk goodbye: just dropped and removed things in the table in pure silence. We were never ever asked if things were ok during the meal (hence why I had to speak with manager in the end). 4) They added a 12.5% service charge without informing us, to which I asked to be removed. It was accepted and removed. 5) There was a young boy trying to apologise and he was indeed trying to be helpful, but he couldn't do much as there was only one person in the kitchen, manager was inside and half the staff was smoking at the last table in the terrace. It was my first experience at this chain was horrified by this experience. Never again.

Very disappointing experience. The food was fine although nothing exceptional, but the service was awful! No one checked on us, and we were sat for over an hour with finished plates in front of us without anyone coming to take them away or ask if we would like anything else. Eventually I tried to get the manager’s attention to pay the bill and despite my saying ‘excuse me’ loudly multiple times she walked straight past me, rolling her eyes, to gossip with the waitress in the corner. The waiter was similarly oblivious and wandered around the restaurant without speaking to a single customer - and there were only three tables! We took the service charge off because of how ridiculous this was, will not be going back.

Food was decent, slightly pushy and rude staff. Seemed confused that we ordered drinks while deciding what to eat. Felt rushed until it came time to pay then we were waiting ~15 minutes to do so, the place wasn't busy.

Offers gluten-free which is good. However, I regret having paid 17 pounds for a plate of pasta with a little bacon and in a child's quantity. Very disappointed on this side

We came here because we love the one at Covent Garden but were staying closer to Camden so decided to come to this one instead. We were severely disappointed. It took 20 mins for our drinks to arrive (2 pints of Bierre Moretti) and they were lukewarm and ended up being flat before we finished them. We found out later that they'd poured a jug and were pouring pints out of this rather than the tap. Not sure why. Anyway we didn't say anything because it wasn't a big issue. We ordered our pizzas at the same time. These then took 40 minutes to arrive. We regularly go to another neapolitan place where pizzas usually only 10 mins to arrive. Again fine. We had our pizzas and they were hot. My partners pizza, he said was one of the best he'd had, perfectly cooked and tasty. Mine was not cooked and just wasn't what I expected (after ordering the same at the one at Covent Garden) and was doughy and undercooked. Again we didn't really complain because my partners was fine but decided we would give feedback when we paid the bill just because it wasn't the food or service we were used to with having been to another of their stores. When paying I did ask if they were affiliated with the one there as I wanted to make sure. She said it was. I then proceeded to tell her the issues we had had, not to receive any compensation or anything, just give them feedback. I was told to just go to the other one in future and they are different stores so the food and service are different. Not the feedback we were expecting and she still expected us to pay the 12.5% service charge! Wouldn't have written a review if we thought she had taken our feedback seriously. But in future I will proceed to go to the other one as directed by your staff.

We were here for lunch. The food was okay - the side salad consisted of just a few lettuce leaves but teh pizza was nice. The wine was expensive and we were chraged £3.45 for a jug of tap water! The bill was incorrect and the service wasn't great.

Service was very slow, forgot our orders, we had to wait an hour to get half the ordered pizzas. Nice food, terrible experience. Edit: the staff decently offered everything on the house in the end, which I felt was worth mentioning.

We arrived in Camden tired and hungry, then we saw the offer of this place on a poster, a starter that could be pizza or pasta and a side to choose between potatoes or salad, all for a price of £14.95 and also coffee for £1 more. It seemed appropriate to us, we did the quick math, x 4 people, about £60. Well, it wasn't like that... to that they added £8.88 for the service, which they never notified beforehand, they charged us for the coffee at almost €3 each and the water at an exorbitant price... with which the Bill came to £79.94. One of the waitresses was not very kind to us when we told her about the error in the price of the coffee, so luckily a guy came out and gave us the corresponding credit. And by the way...if you ask for spoons for the coffee, because first they put one to share, they will give you one like the one in the photo, I think the waitress didn't like us or she was having a bad day...what's that hard for you? to be nice!! The food was very delicious, yes.

Horrible food and cocktails. Only tourists go here probably. Additionally, we sat inside to avoid being cold and they had the A/C so high that today me and my friends have a cold. Because of all the above reasons, I can understand why the restaurant is empty on a Saturday night when every other restaurant in Camden was fully booked.

Delicious pizza in Camden - a little off the main walk and easy to access. Dough for the pizza is delicious - a bit chewy with a crisp exterior, very flavorful. The kids pizza is really unique as well.

Pizza is not great, I'd rather go to Domino's or pizza hut etc.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, absolutely appalled by the treatment we received for my friends birthday. We booked in advance and since the moment we arrived the Italian woman (seemingly the manager) was incredibly dismissive, huffed and rolled her eyes at the request of tap water for the table, and threw down the menus on the table. We were not asked how the food was, and the food was grabbed from the table, not even checking if people were done and we had to ask for her to put it back down. Every other table received complimentary olives as they sat down, we did not. And there was an almost £20 service charge, we decided to keep it on due to the other staff being adequate. However the managers attitude was incredibly unprofessional and we did not feel welcome at all. We will not be returning and we have wasted our celebrations here.

it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The pizza was absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, and bursting with flavor. If you’re a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit! What made our visit even more delightful was the outstanding service. Our server (the polish girl), was incredibly friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and even recommended some great pizza pairings. It turns out she’s from Poland, and her warm hospitality added a special touch to our meal. Overall, the restaurant offers not only great pizza but also top-notch service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon!

For a pizza place they can’t even get that right.. Had a bottomless brunch here and there was nothing bottomless about it Constantly having to ask for a top up as we was left in the corner away from everyone else and only filling the drink half way. Food wasn’t great at all pizza was doughy and soggy base. Extremely disappointed and will never return. Oh and the waitress dropped Prosecco all over our shoes…. Don’t go.

We're regular customers, but this time was not as great. The waitress seemed to be really annoyed and didn't acknowledge our "thank you's". It was a bit awkward. I understand we all have bad days, and it's totally fine, but in a customer-facing role this should not happen. The pizzas were great, but they didn't have fries so we ordered roast potatoes. They were very dry and hard. Probably cooked the day before. No hard feelings, just please pay more attention to these details.

Not sure if they are using fiordilatte mozzarella, it was a bit too solid and yellow. The dough was a bit dry and it wasn't following neither napoli style nor romana style. We tried already rossopomodoro in central London, this branch was a bit disappointing for the pizza, I would definitely review the making and instruct properly the pizzaiolo.

Obviously the waitress had a bad day before serving us. The food is very good, but 12.5% ​​for bad service is too much.

very good italian food, but miss waitress was very irritated and not the nicest person ever, so I wasn't satisfied as much i want,and the toilette was not the cleanest how should to be in my opinion, so they should pay more attention to higiene.

Poor service. Waiters that barely speak English, and speak so quietly, it’s almost impossible to hear them! The food was ok, although 1 chef means they struggled to get food out a group of 10 people. 50% of our group finished mains, before the other 50% had been served.

If you want to be insistently badgered with upselling and then witness visible disappointment of the service staff when you don’t want to put any extra Parma ham on a margarita pizza, this is the place for you. Overheard the persistent upselling on other tables too, made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. In addition to this, we were not informed a 12.5% service charge was included on the bill. I’d just appreciate being told it’s included. Can’t fault the food, it was good, but not amazing. The dough was light, ingredients were fresh and the buffala mozzarella was thick and well portioned. That being said, I’ve had better Neapolitan pizza at Paesano’s; and at Paesano’s the food arrives promptly. At Rossopomodoro, the restaurant was one quarter occupied at 16:45, yet 3 pizzas and a pasta still took 30 minutes to arrive at the table. The decor of the restaurant was nothing original and somebody had taken a bite out of the fake lemon plant on our table. The walls were plastered with naff and tacky slogans about Italy; the type you’d find on postcards aimed at tourists like “See Naples and Die” and “Italy is like a dream but you’re awake”. Overall left feeling satisfied at the food, but soured by the service and atmosphere that left a lot to be desired. I’d try somewhere else next time.

We were in London for the long weekend of April 25th and by chance we tried the Rosso Pomodoro restaurant one evening. We were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food that we absolutely must try.
