Absolutely awesome 🤩 we had a few small plates to get a good feel for the variety of the menu and WOW! My personal fav was chicken parfait but every single mouthful was heaven. I hope this restaurant gets awarded a Michelin star it would be well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will defo be back HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Excellent chips to take out! Possibly the best takeout chips we have ever had accompanied with excellent customer service. The lady was very generous in her portion size and welcoming to us as first time visitors to Northern Ireland. We were very impressed with the opportunity to gift a meal which we did! A must chip shop to sample.

In my opinion, the most underrated course in the UK. From the warmest welcome you get in Ulster (Adam is a legend), the the ultra spectacular views hole by hole. The views are unparalleled to anywhere in golf. If the golf is bad, the walk will always be sensational. Absolute favourite course ever!

Called in on spec as we'd read great reviews. I ordered the salt and chilli chicken starter size as I didn't want a big lunch. My partner ordered seafood chowder. My "starter" portion was pathetically small. 3 or 4 tiny popcorn sized pieces of fairly tasteless chicken on a few leaves and garlic mayo. It would not have satisfied a 5 year old much less an adult. My partner said her chowder was nice but she found several bones in it. I think she was being polite as it didn't look appetising. She had a pint of Guinness zero and I had a half pint of Guinness. The bill £27 ....a shocker for the tiny portions and lack of taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant was akin to a mausoleum. The waitress was pleasant and the toilets were spotless. Based on our experience we will not be back. The Lobster Pot or the Artisan, both nearby are much better.

Excellent on all levels. Waiting staff were welcoming and efficient without being in your face. Food was exceptional with a comprehensive wine list to complement it, including dessert wines which are increasingly hard to come by. We had 3 courses with wine, coffee and liqueurs and the bill was surprisingly reasonably. Staff, food, atmosphere and decor couldn't be faulted. We have recently eaten in The Muddlers Club in Belfast which has a Michelin Star and this place rivals it. Well done.

Absolutely delicious food from this wee place. The chef is friendly and engages in conversation if you're waiting for your food. The smell entering is enticing. I had buttermilk chicken burger and I've never had chicken as tender, too much of the sauce was put on, it really doesn't need it, let that amazing chicken speak for itself. The beef burgers were nice too, meat overload you'll not leave here hungry for sure. I'll definitely be calling in here next time I'm heading to Newcastle, oh and they even take phone orders.

First visit to the Tonn Ruray Cafe and it won't be our last. Ordered 2 small breakfast frys and these didn't disappoint. The food was hot and tasty, the staff were very attentive and the roaring fire in the grate was very welcoming on a cold Sunday morning. We will return when we are next in the area!

Saw the menus on their website & saw the pictures that they had posted & thought that this restaurant looked like the kind of place we would enjoy. What a disappointment! The menu was not what they advertised on their website, when we questioned the waiter about the menu he said that they hadn’t used that one for about 2 months. The presentation of our meals was most definitely not similar to the pictures on the website, the leeks must’ve flown over the leek & potato soup, would not recommend & we were very sorry we had taken our friends there & would most definitely not be back!!
