Absolutely awesome 🤩 we had a few small plates to get a good feel for the variety of the menu and WOW! My personal fav was chicken parfait but every single mouthful was heaven. I hope this restaurant gets awarded a Michelin star it would be well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will defo be back HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This Newcastle restaurent gets great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Good points: • wonderful food, beautifully presented and imaginative menu. Truly appetising • excellent selection of drinks and gorgeous glasses to enjoy • friendly and attentive staff • seating felt very private, especially the booths • classy environment and lighting • good value • easy to book online Less good points: • just 1 mixed gender loo to queue for. Eurgggghh • last service is 7pm on a Sunday • no linen napkins, just paper • very empty with little atmosphere at 6pm on Sunday Overall I would give Graphite 5 stars. A great place for a high quaity meal and service. I recommend you book and enjoy!

What a delightful restaurant, doing a bit of a loop of the Co Down area, decided to go out to Strangford for a look-see. Quick Google and Artisan Cookhouse was top of the list! Went for the burger and fish and chips, both great. BUT the piece de la resistance was their peanut parfait dessert, a masterpiece! Very enjoyable, lovely staff and great value!

After waiting in line in the queue of 5 for about 25min someone eventually decided to take my order, the pleasant lady couldn't sell me an adults portion of fish bites but had plenty available for kids meals , the staff seemed overwhelmed by actually having customers in the shop , service was very slow & staff wouldn't take an order until one had been completed even though there was plenty of staff milling about, overall not a great experience waiting in the cold. Once I collected my food it unfortunately became worse, the chips were cold not even warm enough to melt the cheese & everything was super greasy, very disappointing I wouldn't like to visit when it's actually busy.

Lovely spot to play golf and have a great bit of food afterwards. Checkout Thursdays when there is likely to be an open on.

The Savoy Cafe is a great place for good food and a bit of banter with staff who are friendly and helpful. We travel from Lisburn to Newcastle on a regular basis as we enjoy the Savoy and after breakfast or lunch, a good long walk along the coastal path towards the Mournes which is spectacular in any weather.....
