The best restaurants serving Indian food in Torfaen South Wales

Sad news to hear that Mo will be shutting down in early March 2020. Mo is the best Indian takeaway and delivery around. Amazing curry's and the friendliest of Mo men. Stay open Mo. Get yourself on Facebook if you need more custom and advertise you deliver as I only found out you delivered in the last year. Everything's good. Do a leaflet drop including you delivery and you will be fine. Would recommend to everyone in Griff, Sebastapol, Panteg and New Inn as its by far the best in the local area.

Was looking forward to taking delivery of my first meal from the highly rated and publicised Parbin Service was good, delivery was excellent, food was blah! Not enough flavour although the keema Nan tasted good. Bhajees were tough and floury Much better around so won’t be in a hurry to use again

Went to celebrate a birthday. Food was lush, buffet was hot and fresh. Staff were friendly. Definitely worth the visit.

Had food poisoning the next day unfortunately. The curries were slightly below average - the Lamb Jalfrezi wasn't spicy so the sweetness came out a bit too much. The naan and paratha was good. The atmosphere and the serving staff were very nice :)

Main meals are not reduced only the curries everything was half price in the old days. Well worth the money then. Had a meal every week. No benefit now.

Left a really positive review for this place a few months ago, but time to try somewhere else next time the lamb pathia is usualy amazing but last time I had it meat was tough and it was bland supposed to be 3 chilli rating heat wise , so tried a south Indian garlic chilli chicken next time . Now I kmow its supposed to be very garlicky but this must have had a whole bulb of thickly sliced raw garlic in it spend 10 minutes picking it all out im more than happy to taste lots of gsrlic but i shouldnt have to eat in big chunks surely , so today I ordered a lamb zamdani, which is a very spicy dish 4 chilli review but was just a thick red sauce which literaly just tasted like a mouthful of chilli powder coudnt taste anything else not nice at all .. Very disappointing for somewhere that was just voted best in south wales ..

Ordered a meal for 2 last night. It arrived bang on time, was very hot and tasted amazing. Definatley the best meal we have ever had. ly

We had a takeaway tonight absolutely lovely lots of chunks of tender chicken. The older guy who delivered it was very friendly polite and we will be having more takeaway soon.

Pre-ordered before they opened for 18.15, turned up at 1900 with not so much as a phone call, chef special curry was ok and so was chicken tikka biryani, keema rice and madras sauce absolutely tasteless, felt like it is just completely rushed and thrown together, first time trying and will definitely be the last as well, very very disappointed!!!! Two stars is probably being generous.

Great food. Always boiling hot great options and friendly service. Always pre order and collect which works great. Highly recommend.

Always great food and delivery

Have used this takeaway many times over the last few years and not having ordered for some time decided to order on a Tuesday for delivery. Rang at 6.15 pm and told 45 mins to an hour. Started chasing delivery (several times) from 7.30pm onwards and food finally arrived at 7.45 an hour and a half after ordering. Did get an apology from the delivery guy but food was not the standard it used to be and all had to be warmed up. Looks like previous reviews are similar but we did give them a chance. Unfortunately not again and will go elsewhere.
