Had many a meal from here always good but lately it’s hit and miss .... tonight’s was awful Luke warm curries swimming in oil . Got order wrong no Half and half but we’re some warm and that’s exaggerating chicken bits in soggy I don’t know what .All in bin waste of £22 will probably never order from here again

Food tasted 'funky' and expensive. rice dishes mushy, popadom mushy - curry ok nothing great and won't be returning.

The service is second to none, always on time, and the food is top notch. The portions sizes are good, keep going back again and again, never fails to deliver excellent food.

We love Indian cuisine and we’re not disappointed when we ate here. The curries were authentic and spicy whilst not over hot and the rice was cooked perfectly

I am a Shaheen regular. It is the best curry takeaway in all of the Gwent area. We ordered onion Bali starters, with main meals of prawn biriani, a chicken tikka masala with boiled rice and prawn chana (chickpea) Balti with pilau rice. We also had a pile of popadoms and a kulcha naan. Everything was outstanding as always and Riaz always gives a warm welcome and excellent service.

Some parking out the front and along the side road. Friendly staff who have been there for years. Only ordered a Chicken Vindaloo but this was spot on. Would recommend.
